This review is long overdue. My black lab, Brew, did the day camp and train last year at 3 years old and it has made his world bigger and improved our relationship immensely! I originally sought out training due to leash pulling and unreliable recall and the training exceeded my expectations. I can now confidentially take him pretty much anywhere with no stress or anxiety of how he’s going to act. I’ve taken him to stores, big cities, dog parks, breweries, off leash, etc and with the tools and communication we learned through logical k9 it is enjoyable to do so. It is an investment that both you and your dog will benefit from for the rest of their lives. I have recommended logical k9 to many people since experiencing it and will be back with any future dogs that I get.

Carissa is absolutely amazing! She’s doing such an awesome job at Logical K9. After picking our Golden Retriever up from a 3 week board and train, we were super impressed and satisfied with the results! We are now able to confidently take him anywhere and feel comfortable that he will listen and behave the way he is supposed to. I would 10/10 recommend Carissa and Logical K9!

My sweet Maxine had all the love and none of the chill before she went to training at Logical K9. They worked MAGIC with her in just a few short weeks, so that now she is a joy to be around and is so much closer to being an official therapy dog! She has self control, learned perfect recall, and knows how to stay in her place even when strangers come into our house! She loves her human and puppy pals at camp and has learned all the skills to be everyone’s favorite dog. I already have a training camp reserved for my new puppy who isn’t even home with us yet. I recommend Logical K9 to everyone I meet!

We can’t say enough of Logical K9. We have participated in her training program, day camp and boarding. Carissa is the person you never knew you needed in your life and in your dogs life. She set us up for success with our Lab/Husky mix, Archie and continues to reinforce his skills (and ours) as he gets older. Highly recommend the experience she provides for you as a pet owner.

Carissa at Logical K9 is AMAZING! My one year old border collie, Ellie, was a great girl, but….she was a reactive nervous Nelly! She was anxious and reactive to the point that I had to walk her at 5 am so that we could have a somewhat enjoyable walk. Ellie went through the board and train program and came home an amazingly different dog! She had confidence, we could now walk around town and truly enjoy the time out. She now has so much more freedom because of her great recall and training. I highly recommend Carissa and Logical K9!

5 paws up! We have been training/boarding our dogs for almost 4 years with Carissa and we always know they are well taken care of. They have great long walks and structured play with other trained dogs. Drop off and pick up are super easy and love that she can do grooming right there for them too. We will continue to only use logical k9 for all our training/boarding needs.

Carissa and the girls at Logical K9 are the absolute best! I have been taking my Bernese Mountain Dog, Oliver, there since I brought him home last year! She is so informative and always willing to help and answer all of my many questions. I use her for training and daycamp and Oliver has improved so much since seeing her! She has not only helped Oliver as a growing dog but also me as an owner! I highly highly recommend and will never go anywhere else. Hopefully soon I’ll be taking my other dog Cali to her for a camp and train!

Absolutely love LogicalK9 and Carissa and cannot say enough great things! My dog attends day camp every week and typically boards at least once a month and he absolutely loves it. He can be a bit standoffish with other people and dogs, but I’ve never once worried about him when he’s with Carissa- she advocates for all of the dogs’ needs and keeps a safe, structured space for all of the dogs in her care. Highly recommend LogicalK9 to anyone looking for boarding, daycare, or training in the Buffalo or Rochester area!

Carissa and logical K9 is absolutely amazing! she wants the best for the dogs and their humans and to be able to have clear communication for the relationships to thrive. my patience was wearing thin with my third dog as he was very difficult to work with and try to train on my own. he pushed every one my buttons to the max. He still has the same happy and crazy personality but now its at least controlled, he listens and we can enjoy eachother even more! highly recommend!

The only place we trust with our two German Shepherds- Carissa and her staff are the best in the business! We no longer have to stress about our pups when we travel because we know they are loved and cared for while we are away!

Carissa and Logical K9 provide an amazing service at a super affordable price. The structure they maintain is SO healthy for the dogs! I’m thankful to be able to send my dog there!

Just got our male GSD, Axle (we call him Ax-hole if that tells you how naughty he was) back from three weeks of training. He is a changed dog, not perfect yet, but much, much better. He was aggressively barking at anyone who came in our house, walked by our house, etc. He thought it was his job to guard the whole neighborhood! He was difficult to walk as he would alert on any sound, animal (squirrels, dogs in particular), humans, etc. Post training this behavior seems greatly reduced. He follows commands from the whole family now as well, whereas he would previously only listen to me. We had a friend of our daughter over and he didn’t bark or go at her at all. That would have never happened before. Like I said, we have a lot of work to do still, but he is back on and well down the right path now thanks to Logical K9.

This is, unquestionably, the best place for dog training. Carissa is amazing. She listened to what we had to say, and has changed all of our lives for the better.

First time dog owner and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Logical K9 is wonderful. Carissa and her team are extremely knowledgeable and amazing at what they do. It’s amazing the number of dogs they can control at once on a walk. I joke but they are dog whisperers. They truly love each and every dog as if it were their own. Both myself and my dog learned the important fundamentals together through our training sessions and he continues to learn and grow attending day camps. Their new facility is amazing and clean! They take pride in what they do and that speaks for itself in each dog that walks through their doors!
