    I have been to 2 private classes so far and I cannot say enough great things about Simpawtico! Loki was nervous at first but soon warmed up and now lets his full big personality shone through. Ian is great at offering different types of types and tricks not only for the dog, but for the handler as well, from body positions, to movements, to leash holding. It all ties together and it’s been great to see the progress in Loki after only 2 classes. We can’t wait to go back for more lessons and keep building on our knowledge base.

    Ian is an incredible trainer. Hes knowledgeable, experienced, patient, and very obviously cares about dogs. I admire the passion he, and everyone I met at Simpawtico, have for working with dogs (and their people).Ians methods work, and work well, you just have to put in the work. In his studio it says Trust the process, and doing so leads to results. I will absolutely return to Simpawtico for any future training or behavioral needs, and I would 100% recommend anyone else to do the same.

    Ian is such an amazing instructor. Cosette had 6 private classes and has done some immense learning. Simpawtico Dog Training maintains professionalism while also showing enthusiasm for the dogs. They truly want your dog to succeed! Highly recommend!

    What a great experience! Hannah and Chloe were professional, patient and encouraging! Clover loved going to “school” even though sometimes she was more interested in her doggie friends than listening to her mother.     If you have a dog with any type of issues or a puppy that you want to learn how to “get off on the right paw” with, Simpawtico is the way to go!I have a five year old Border Collie mix (Cheyenne) that was having aggression issues issues with other dogs. I signed up for a private lesson at Simpawtico and was immediately impressed by the ease and expertise of both Ian and Hannah. I learned so much about how to help Chey handle her reactivity to other dogs in the three sessions I have had so far.I highly recommend contacting Simpawtico for group classes or private lessons. You and your dog will be glad you did!

    I have a Black Russian Terrier who has been a challenge to understand. She is leash reactive and I was thoroughly confused after seeking out numerous trainers. I live in Michigan but called Ian after seeing his videos. I provided what to me was a long and confusing history, but he listened intently and really understood my dog and myself. His suggestions made sense and he help me gain the confidence of knowing what the right track is for my dog. It has been over a month and we have made outstanding improvements in relationship, obedience and minimal leash reactivity. Going to travel from Michigan to Ian to further my training.     We absolutely adore Ian! His understanding and patience is unmet. We signed up for one dog and he was so patient and loving when our other dogs wanted to intrude on the session. :) 10/10 recommend! We will be doing additional training to build upon the skills we have acquired.

    It has been a pleasure working with Hannah. She is professional and knowledgable. She explains and demonstrates things very well. The facility is big and well maintained. She has helped us gain control and to better understand Tuckers behavior. The time and money was well spent.

    My puppy was driving me crazy, so my friend recommended Simpawtico. Im so glad we signed up for Puppy 1 and 2. Ian and Hannah gave me all the tools I needed (and then some) to turn my pirhana into a well-behaved and much happier pug! Im so proud of how far shes come. I plan to continue on with her training because Ian and Hannah make it fun, too. I cant recommend Simpawtico enough!

    Hannah has been such a joy to work with! She’s clearly in her element here. She’s patient with both my doggo and me, and we both have a fantastic time training. The foundation of the course is so logical and clear, it makes sense and feels right - Hannah is available for questions and provides notes from our appointments so we’re able to practice at home. This is a perfect pairing for Max and I! We’re very thankful for her time and effort.

    I cannot recommend Ian any higher. His personality is infectious. As great as he his is with dogs, hes even better with their humans. Kind, knowledgeable and reassuring. You can tell immediately that he loves what he does, and that passion radiates from him. He helped tremendously with our rescue dog Axel, and I look forward to having him help with our 9 week old rescue pittie that was just transported up from the disaster in Texas. Thanks Ian!

    Over the years through a few moves and a few different dogs, my wife and I have had experiences with a few different dog trainers. We feel really fortunate to have a dog trainer of Ians caliber nearby. Hes incredibly knowledgeable, professional, patient, and passionate about dogs and training. The real deal! Simpawtico has been the best.

    Weve met with Ian and his team both at their training studio and at our home. Their advice has been very beneficial to helping our nervous rescue pup gain confidence and resilience. Ian is extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful about the problems weve shared with him. Hes also extremely easy to talk to and non-judgmental. Its obvious to me that the team at Simpawtico wants to do anything they can to help us have a happy and successful relationship with our dog! I would highly recommend reaching out to Simpawtico if youre struggling with your pup.

    Im about to get a puppy and I had a TON of questions. Ians YouTube videos are awesome and I wanted to ask specific questions regarding my personal situation. I setup a virtual consultation and he was amazing. Again, I had TONS of questions (Im going to be a first time puppy owner) and he was really supportive and gave excellent advice. It definitely boosted my confidence as I was feeling like I might fail but we walked through a potty training plan and a schedule to get the puppy to become addicted to his chew toy. Ill definitely be setting recurring virtual meetings. Unfortunately Im too far to attend in person trainings but the virtual meeting was exactly what I needed. Highly recommended

    The enthusiasm and knowledge of the instructor Ian Stone is surpassed only by his expertise in sharing that knowledge with others. He truly makes training and classes fun!I have learned a great deal, improving my ability to interact with my dogs successfully. Using the reward techniques that Ian teaches has allowed me to make my dogs enjoy their training with me far more than I was able to in the past.

    Moose and I were very lucky to find Ian. He is like that favorite teacher you had back in the day, you always look forward to going to class. He is a natural teacher, his knowledge is second to none and after spending just a few minutes with him you see his passion for training and his deep love of dogs come shining through. This is a man that truly found his lifes calling.We just finished Puppy 2 today and in a few months we are back with Ian for the Intermediate class. There is no way we would be so far along with our training without Simpawtico. My plan is to stick with him as Moose and I mature. Thank you Ian, see you in a few months brother.

    This is for their online training course only.I first found Ian through reddit recommendation of his YouTube channel. I loved all his videos and his training philosophy, so when we brought home our 🐶, I decided to go ahead and purchase his basic training course. Let me tell you, that was the best money I’ve spent for my puppy girl and myself. I watched each session multiple times to the point I memorized them and it made a huge difference in our trainings. Things like “prey drive” and how to capitalize on that really kind had a lightbulb-moment effect for me. We’re still training and there’s a lot to learn, but I love Ian’s classes and highly recommend them to everyone.Side note: the basic training class does touch upon loose leash walking but the walking class goes a lot more in depth. I’m still finishing up that course but so far it’s money well spent!

    Ian has been amazing with us and our dogs since we met back in April. It has been a very up and down journey, a lot of stress from a new baby being introduced, passing of another pet, work/life stress. We always get fast responses to all our questions and concerns. We have seen such improvement even if we lack in the training and we have renewed hope for our dogs behaviors as long as we do the work! Ian has been so kind, patient and understanding with us and we are looking forward to keep working with him.

    Words really cant explain how effective Ians training really is. His YouTube videos originally saved us from all the crazy German shepherd puppy biting. His other YT videos helped us get started with some basic training. Eventually we purchased his Dog Training Essentials course on IOA which has been super helpful. Weve also done a Zoom consultation with Ian. Any corrective action he had us take was IMMEDIATELY effective in engaging our dog and channeling her energy into productive learning/training. This man is a genius and the structure of all the information he presents is so helpful for my wife and me. Were going to keep moving through this course and reach out to Ian when we hit walls. Simpawtico Dog Training is everything we needed in learning how to live with a dog for the first time.

    Hannah’s knowledge of both dog and human behavior is astounding. We came in with an incredibly fearful and reactive dog who was weary and hesitant around anyone new. By the third session, she was right up at Hannah’s feet asking for treats and allowing pets.
