After a terrible experience at House Pet Grooming and Trainer in the Bronx, we were understandably nervous about boarding our two cats again.In April, we decided to try Woofs n Whiskers, and they completely exceeded our expectations. The staff took excellent care of our pets, and it was clear they were well-fed, hydrated, and comfortable throughout their 7-day stay. The only downside was the drive to Brooklyn during rush hour, but it was worth every minute for the peace of mind we received. If youre looking for a place that genuinely cares for your pets, Woofs n Whiskers is the way to go.

I have been using this day care for years, this is my second dog that they have attended to. Have used them for dog walking, day care and boarding. The space is great because they have a very large outdoor space and the dogs get alot of activity and socialization. We have used them for boarding for the last few years and there have been no issues. Have not been able to find anywhere else that has such a facility.

Woofs has saved our lives, we have 4 dogs with different needs and characters, and they give each one special treatment. They care about my babies as much as I do and that for me its just marvelous.We have left them there several times when we travel for work or vacations, always found them healthy and happy when we came back. Darla, female pug, suffers of allergies and they give her her daily pill and once in a long travel her allergies attack her and woofs took her to the vet immidiately. Their staff is nice and caring, Marisol specifically, Mari is adorable and knows everything about my dogs. I just have good things to say, keep the great work!

Simply put- if you need to board your pet, this is the place to do it. It’s an awesome facility that genuinely has your pet’s well-being in mind. I like that their kennels are larger than many other places. They play with them frequently to reduce the animal’s stress.They respond very quickly to emails, even requests for updates or photos of your furbaby.

They provided detailed information before I boarded my cats with them. The cat boarding area is clean and separate from the dog areas.The stay took place as described and they gave personal attention to my cats. My cats had adjoining cubes with their favorite food and toys.I was able to call and get a report whenever I wanted.

I’ve boarded my dog at Woofs ‘n Whiskers for both short weekend trips and long international trips. He seems happy and well cared for every time, which is my top priority in a boarding facility. Also, they have great customer service and responsiveness.

I have a very sweet but sensitive cat who needed care while I was away for a 10-day trip. The staff at Woofs n Whiskers were kind and answered all my questions. I was able to tour the cat boarding space before making a decision. When I picked Poppy up, it was clear the staff had spent lots of time with her. She was well cared for and I wouldn’t hesitate using them again for boarding.

We LOVE Woofs n Whiskers!! They are so good with our dog Amos, and he loves going there more than anything in the world. We were really impressed with the thorough temperament test they did before letting him into day care, and they assigned him to a play group that matches his personality and play style. We know Amos is safe and in good hands there. He never wants to leave!

My cat Olivia boarded with them for 5 nights in Jan and I couldn’t be more impressed with her care. They emailed me daily, letting me know how she was doing and sent pictures as well! Olivia came home happier than when i dropped her off! She takes meds twice a day and they didn’t miss a beat with her feedings or her meds. This place is a blessing to pet parents that have to travel!! I will always use them when I have to board Olivia and highly recommend them!

We have been taking Carmine to Woof’s and Whiskers for 5 years and it’s his second home. He’s super excited when he arrives and when I pick him up it takes me at least 15 minutes to leave. He has to make sure he gets belly rubs from all the staff and of course treats.The staff not only makes sure that he is safe but they also have fun throughout the day. They provide not only pools for the summer but activities all year round. The staff are awesome and care and all our little guys.Being a first responder I was forever grateful to Danielle and her staff for being open during the high peak of the pandemic.Leaving your dog in there care is like leaving your child with family.

One word: Godsend. Woofs n Whiskers has been part of our family for over two years. Theyve cared for our dog Camden for daycare, boarding and van service.When Woofs says that they treat your pet like family, its sincere and genuine. I have had a chance to meet almost every staff member and each one is so caring, hospitable, and professional. Not only is there low turnover among the staff, Ive even seen a few be promoted through the years. Thats amazing.Camden gets so excited to see the staff each time and when he gets picked up in the mornings he cant wait to ride in the van on the way to Woofs to run around with his furry friends.There simply isnt a place like this anywhere else in New York and the staff is among the best youll ever find. I trust them completely and believe that we could not have provided for our dog as we have if it wasnt for having Woofs in our network. Ive been relentless in my referrals to Woofs and have seen them go on to refer their friends too.Thank you Woofs. For everything. We love you! We wish you nothing but success in the future!

WnW takes good care of our pup. Our guy is playful and benefits from socializing with other dogs. Woofs has a 3 playtime per day schedule, where your pup gets out in the yard for about 45 minutes each session, in a play group that is best suited for your dog’s temperament. It’s a great resource to have on hand when you want your pup to play but you personally may not have enough hours in the day to make that happen on your own. They also do overnight boarding, grooming and have a general caring disposition that makes you feel confident that your little guy or gal is going to have a good time at Woofs ‘n Whiskers. They also board cats, as the name would suggest!

I recently started using daycare and boarding at woofs n whiskers. They came highly recommended from my veterinarian. Extremely pleased is an understated rating. The facility is fabulous, indoor and outdoor. The staff is efficient and kind. They emailed me immediately when there was a minor problem. I highly recommend them and Buddie (my dog) does as well.

Dogs seemed to enjoy their time at the boarder. Open play time and dog activity schedule is clear on website. Before our boarding reservation, we received an email that hours were reduced due to staffing shortages and pick up times were reduced. This caused us to have to leave our dogs there and take off work to pick up on a weekday, but at no extra charge. Prices are a bit more expensive. ( 8 y/o 80lb lab, 7 y/o 75lb golden retriever)

Super responsible and friendly staff, and really well kept facilities. My dog gets excited when arriving and is well cared for whenever he comes for daycare. Weve used their boarding services too and felt very secure leaving our beloved pup in their care. They also provide reasonably priced grooming and vaccination services - extremely convenient for us busy NYers.

The team at WnW are the best and the facility itself is amazing- they have a huge outdoor play area and the dogs play outside 4 times a day. We took our puppy there for a day then boarded her for a weekend and she absolutely loved it.We looked at many other places but chose WnW because of the outdoor space and they didn’t disappoint. Our puppy loved it and we would definitely take her back. We trust the team fully and I highly recommend this facility, especially for people with puppies who have never border before.

I just recommended this place to a friend - and i would to anyone ! I boarded my dog here for a few weeks . I was so nervous as it was only my second time leaving her and i would be far away , but everything was great!I chose this place because they have an outdoor area with water - pools and a hose , if your dog loves to play in water as mine does :) and also because she had her own separate room . ( xl dog who likes her own space)

My dog has found his home away from home at Woofs n Whiskers! The staff not only makes sure he is safe and having fun, but also gives him lots of love and treats him like a part of their big family. Woofs is perfect for a guy like my pup, who loves to romp around in the large yard just as much as needs time to relax in his own space. It makes me smile every time I see the staff greet him with smiles and nicknames. We love Woofs n Whiskers!

Woofs does a great job at keeping my dog happy and safe while in their care. He goes for daycare as well as boarding and I never feel stressed about his safety and wellbeing.My dog is wild with energy and needs dogs who are on the same level and same playing field that he is on to avoid conflicts at dog parks. I am always confident that Woofs keeps the play groups on equal energy levels and I love that they always have someone outside supervising the dogs playing at all times. Every time we walk by, we see staff members actively paying attention to and playing with the dogs, never ignoring or sitting on their phones.Staff is very friendly and patient in answering all questions Ive asked in the past. Theres plenty of good daycares, but this is a truly great one. It speaks volumes that after only a few days of dropoffs there, my pup ran into daycare without a second glance back at me (and normally new environments are tough for him). The staff are communicative and friendly, and have been so patient if Ive called ahead to indicate that Im running late for pickup. The day is structured between playtime and downtime, so my dog comes home happily tired, but not irritable or overstimulated. Wonderful to see that he gets to be outside and in the sunshine every day, and happy to have found such a gem here in Brooklyn! He would go here every day if he could.

Everyone there is professional, friendly and very committed to what they do. My puppy loves it so much she cant wait for when I go travelling so she can spend time at WnW!

This is really a great doggie daycare. They do their best to accommodate all kinds of dogs, and are very skillful in making sure the pack is harmonious and having fun. Theyre also pretty chill and not overly up themselves like some of the other BK doggie places. Im also not asuper regular and so I appreciate their open policy.

The level of excitement Spike has when the van pulls up every Tuesday & Thursday to greet Spike makes us smile! The team there is amazing and we can tell, he comes home happy and exhausted! I highly recommend W n W and the van service is a great value!

I had to board my three cats for the first time in their privileged little lives. I knew they were going to be demon spawn and it was imperative I warn the staff there. They may have thought I was exaggerating, but learned otherwise. They handled it very well and my cats, despite their take on it, still managed to survive. It was nice that they gave queen demon cat her a condo with a view overlooking the front desk so she could intimidate the staff with her evil glares and cougar growls as she plotted her next attack. If need be, I would inflict my cats on them again. Hopefully, they have made notes on their file with red flashing Caution warnings.

We LOVE Woofs n Whiskers -- have been bringing our 2-year-old Husky for doggie day care twice per week since he was about four months old... We now often refer to the Woofs crew as Leos other family... They have a large outdoor space in which the dogs can run around, the dogs are arranged by group so theyre playing with dogs of similar size/energy, and the staff is amazing and and seems to care for the dogs like their own. They routinely post pictures of the pets in their care on Instagram (Ive posted a few here), and are happy to email a picture at any point if requested. Leo PULLS me to the door when we arrive in the morning, and is happy and content (and tired!) when I pick him up. Were so grateful to be able to trust WnW with Leo -- hes come so far socially and we know its in large part because of Woofs n Whiskers. One of the best in NYC!!

I boarded my 2 cats here for 9 days. It was my first time boarding them. Woofs and Whiskers was very responsive to emails requesting updates on how my cats were doing. I found the facility to be clean and the staff was friendly. I also found the pricing great. Especially compared to what other boarding places offer. What really won me over was that they let the cats out of the enclosures to stretch daily. No other facility I contacted offered that. I would use this business again, and would definitely recommend to anyone in need of boarding.

I sent my flat-coated retriever to Woofs n Whiskers for almost three years while living in Brooklyn Heights. This place is a godsend in New York City and is worth every penny. We sent our dog 2-3 times per week with round trip van service and it truly made owning a large, hyper dog in the city bearable. The staff is incredibly responsive and the facility is very clean and well organized. When schedules changed quickly, the staff was quick to respond and adapt. We never used the overnight boarding services, but there were several nights including in our monthly daycare package which was a generous offer. We moved out of the city and ultimately stopped sending our dog; however, the entire staff handwrote a card to our dog and gave her a special chew on her last day which was very sweet.Feedback for Management would be: 1) van pick up / drop off window could be tighter and 2) more frequent updates on the dogs would be helpful (e.g. a web-cam feed of the yard)

I have been leaving my dog there for a few years. They are good people along with being animal lovers. They always take good care of my dog.This time when I left my dog with them, she needed to go to the veterinarian for blood work. They did not hesitate to so that. They were also willing to pick up a new prescription from the vet and go to a regular pharmacy with it. But thankfully, that was not necessary in the end. That to me is going above and beyond.

Justine has been amazing in being flexible and supporting us through this process. She took extra care with us as we rushed to the hospital to give birth, and just tonight she stayed late to make sure we got Myelin home after a boarding visit.
