I can not recommend the entire team at Brooklyn Pup enough. We opted to start with 1:1 on training for our 3 month old Pomeranian and from the moment Mary and Danny walked in and met our little guy we knew we made the right choice - it was evident that they genuinely care about both the dogs and their owners. Mary and Danny are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated to helping every dog (and owner) reach their full potential. We are on to the puppy kindergarten class now. Thank you Brooklyn Pup!

Brooklyn Pup is the best choice possible for adjusting both you and your puppy to your new life together in the city. Sari created an open forum for all of the owners to swap stories and learn from one another which was extremely valuable. Each week I left more and more comfortable and confident in my ability to train Hank and get through some of the hurdles and specific challenges that come with raising a puppy in the city. By the end of our 4 sessions, he knew look, touch, sit, shake, leash walking and was well on the way to being housebroken! I looked forward to every Saturday class each week and noticing the changes and developing skills in Hank was beyond gratifying. Cant recommend this group of trainers enough!

My partner and I adopted a 6 month old puppy in March and while we both grew up with dogs, actually owning and training and puppy was extremely overwhelming. We enrolled in the Basic Manners class but also reached out to Sari asking for additional 1:1 help. The Basic Manners class with with Anna and she was so knowledgeable and great with working with our VERY excited pup. Basic Manners and Anna really help lay the foundation for dog training that we otherwise would not have learned via books or online. It was also such a fun way to spend an hour on Saturday for both us and our puppy! When it came to 1:1 training, Sari paired us with Mary, who has been truly incredible for us!! She has been helping us navigate adolescent puppyhood and a very enthusiastic but high-energy puppy. At times I felt like we would be lost without Marys guidance and support. She always makes sure that puppy management works for both us and our puppy. We will definitely keep working with her throughout adolescence and cannot recommend her enough. We are eagerly waiting for upcoming dates for the Advanced Manners Class with Brooklyn Pup as we loved every minute of Basic Manners. I would Brooklyn Pup to any dog owner!

If you are searching for a dog trainer, stop looking and contact Brooklyn Pup. We took the puppy class as new and inexperienced dog owners and had a fantastic experience with Sari. The classes are tailored to help dog owners to learn and manage different situations during the first period of a dog life and she provided useful and practical examples. We also worked with Sari in 1:1 classes to focus on specific areas with our puppy and we had great results and shes always been willing to find more solutions and find more resources for us. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for puppy classes or 1:1 time at any stage of the dog life. Well always be grateful of the help we received, 5 stars and beyond

Brooklyn Pup was great. The space was clean and Sari was a great trainer. We had one puppy kindergarten session with our pup, Penny. Penny socialized with the other puppies while Sari and her assistant went around the room giving training tips and dos and donts. Sari was very thorough in her training methods.Then the world faced a pandemic. We had only had one in person session but Brooklyn Pup went right into action and reached out to the puppy owners with options on their remaining classes. We completed the course via Zoom calls which although wasn’t great for puppy socialization, was great to reinforce training for the owners. Sari was also nice enough to link us up with other puppy owners. She made the introduction and checked in on our puppy meetups.I would definitely recommend using Brooklyn Pup for all training needs.Thanks Sari!!

Sari is a phenomenal dog trainer! I am so glad we chose her to help us train our pup, Cranberry! We get a lot of compliments about Cranny’s behavior/manners on walks and at the dog park constantly, all because of Sari’s very helpful training!We took two classes and we’ve been out of the class for some time now but we feel very confident and comfortable with where we are as dog parents, because Cranny listens to us and still knows her cues even outside the class. We just really enjoy Sari’s style of training because her focus is on providing you with the necessary tools and resources to help you train your dog instead of her doing the training for you! We HIGHLY recommend Sari because she incredibly knowledgeable and legit has a solution for everything!

We took the puppy kindergarten class with Sari, and it worked wonders for our dog! Sari and her team are kind, patient and knowledgable. The classes helped us all adjust to our new life as dog owners - so much of it is about learning how to teach your pup. I highly recommend Brooklyn Pup. We will likely take the Manners class soon as well.

Sari has a very personal approach to each puppy in the classroom! Shell make sure to address each familys individual needs while also offering great universal tips and plenty of time for playing with the other puppies. Definitely recommend bringing your puppy to her classes!

Sari was amazing with our Vizsla pup Nina! We enrolled Nina in the puppy class when she was 10 weeks old and in the basic manners afterwards and it was amazing to see how quickly she learned. Sari was great at answering our many questions and concerns and she was fast to respond to our e-mails. Group classes were small and had a great instructor to dog ratio, which is exactly what is recommended. Also, all techniques are positive reinforcement based (no punishment), which was exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend Brooklyn Pup!

We adopted our puppy Lulu at 4.5 months and did puppy classes with Sari. When we first started, Lulu would hide under the couch and hide behind us. By class 3, Lulu had built up the confidence to play with the other puppies, as well as learn look and touch. Sari and her assistant were wonderful and provided us a wonderful foundation. Lulu loved going to class and we found it super helpful to understand how to start reinforcing positive behaviors. I would highly recommend Sari to any other puppy parents!

Anna and the Brooklyn Pup team were wonderful with our pup Daizy. Anna was so great with working with both our human kids and canine baby on her TV barking (there is an animal in almost every commercial ad these days and wow did she let us know). Anna was attentive; an thoughtful about things to work on that didnt seem overwhelming or disruptive to our everyday lives. I am pleased to say that while our Dog still lets us know when she sees a dog or horse on TV her vocalization is already reduced by 70% since our session. I highly recommend her for your newest additions or to over-come any habits you may have thought your old dog couldnt learn. I also highly recommend her if you have human kids and want them to be great dog owners!

We took our three month rescue puppy to Brooklyn Pups for kindergarten class. Sari taught us how to distract him when he misbehaves, like when starts to bite. We learned about bully sticks, bitter apple spray and other puppy necessities. Sari also always responded to our in-between session emails with promptness, which was super helpful. We would definitely recommend Brooklyn Pups to others with new puppies.

Sari was wonderful! Im a first time pup owner and started this course when my Shiba was 10 weeks old. It helped being able to check in weekly to discuss any ongoing and new concerns that would pop up over the week. We did everything over zoom and there were three other dog owners so it was a nice, small intimate group. Most owners raised issues that would eventually arise later for me or vice versa so it was helpful having that community. Sari also put us all in touch after the course in case we wanted to schedule meet ups.Sari gave very practical advice that has helped me tremendously while raising my pup. Its helpful to be as specific as possible with your concerns/issues so that she can help troubleshoot it. Shes also open to receiving videos/pictures when youre socializing or training your dog so that she can give helpful tips. It was a great alternative while were in quarantine.I would highly recommend Sari!

Brooklyn Pups puppy kindergarten was perfect for us and our new rescue. He got a solid training foundation thats served us well as hes adapted to life in the city, and we learned so much about how to react to all of the situations being a new puppy parent brings. Everywhere we go we get compliments on how well behaved he is! Hes incredibly friendly with other people and other dogs, and I think having had the positive experiences we had in class is a huge part of that.

We took our dog, Waffles, to Sari for basic dog training and then again for her advanced training class (and had a few private lessons in between) and she was SO HELPFUL! Our sweet boy had some problems like jumping, anxiety around other dogs, and major distractibility outside. She gave us lots of hands-on help and instruction and has been a fabulous support. I would recommend her without hesitation to absolutely anyone who needs help with their dog or puppy. Shes fabulous!

BK Pup Dog Training did a great job guiding us on training our beautifully spirited Golden Doodle. The strategy learned from each class seamlessly led to the next classs lesson. A great experience for dog and owner alike. Recommended.

My dog Ritchie and I loved Saris class! We both learned so much during the course and it has brought us even closer together. Sari is patient, extremely knowledgeable and made the learning process so fun and relaxed. Ill miss ending our Sundays with class! Brooklyn Pup Dog Training is great - they focus a lot on the principles behind training and are constantly going back to basics. We had ample opportunities to ask a lot of questions and to work on our puppy’s problems. They also made a pivot to online video sessions during Covid19 which worked out well. Highly recommend

After my boyfriend and I rescued our 3 month old puppy Angus we decided to bring him to Brooklyn Pup - Puppy Kindergarten class. We loved it so much so we followed up with puppy manners class. Not only did we see a BIG difference in Angus- it was extremely helpful to us humans as well. Sari helped guide us through his training and taught us how our actions affect Angus and his behavior. She is great with animals, patient and kind. All 3 of us got a lot out of her classes and we wish there were more to sign up for!!

My dog Max and I have taken two wonderful training classes with Sari, Puppy Kindergarten and Basic Manners. The class sizes are small and we received a lot of individualized attention in class. Also, Sari was always available for additional questions outside of class. The fact that Max is a confident, well-adjusted little pup is in no small part thanks to Sari and those classes. The two locations in Greenpoint and Clinton Hill were also super convenient. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I brought our mini dachshund puppy Zelda to Saris puppy kindergarten class, and weve seen some big improvements in how shes adjusting to big city life! We have some solid tactics to use when shes interacting with other dogs and people, and though shes still a work in progress, this class was a big help in teaching us how to help her with her anxiety. Sari was patient and kind, and gave Zelda the attention she needed in class to feel comfortable and succeed, even if she couldnt jump right in and play with the other pups. Definitely recommend!

Shortly after our dog turned 1 we started having some leash walking problems. He was becoming distracted by everyone and everything especially other dogs he wanted to say hello to. After training with Sari he is much calmer and less distracted. We can walk him freely and easily without him stopping to see and sniff everything on the street. Sari was great to work with and took the time to make sure we were executing her training properly and made sure we understood the importance of each exercise she was giving us. She always checked in on us for updates and responded to emails in a timely manner. If you are having any issues big or small with your dog I highly recommend her!
