What’s there to say about Jason and the GoDog team. They truly treated my dog like their own and I never once was worried when she was in their care. Jason is a local guy who loves his community, especially the dogs in it. If we would bump into him on the street, I simply had to let go of the leash so Boogie could run up to him. He does a great job of vetting and training his walkers so there’s never any concern when new staff comes on. My dog is very wary of strangers, and yet she never has any trouble with GoDog walkers, both new and old.Every one of the GoDog walkers were incredibly responsible and would always give me prompt updates after their walk. A special shoutout to Steph who walked Boogie practically every day for 3 years. Boogie is going to be heartbroken that she won’t get to see her favorite person regularly anymore. If I wasn’t moving to a new neighborhood, there’s no question that I’d be sticking with GoDog. I am going to miss their professionalism and care they showed to my dog. -

I inherited a dog, Max, who had never been socialized with other animals. He was often aggressive or overly hyper with other animals but sweet with people. Jason and the people at GoDog took the time to work with Max and he became part of a walking pack with dogs he now loves and respects. I really appreciated them going the extra mile and so does Max!They also are secretly amazing dog photographers so expect some cute pics of your pup from time to time :) -

We’ve been part of the GoDog family for almost 8 years! We first met Jason and his team in 2014 when we brought home our black lab Bear. They walked him for 4 years - starting as a puppy with some training. We lost Bear to cancer in 2018. Jason and his team were beyond supportive during his final days, even bringing homemade dog food when Bear lost his appetite. Flash forward to 2020 and we brought home another pup. Working with Jason and his team was an easy decision! We use GoDog for daily walks and overnight stays when we’re out of town. All of the walkers are incredibly trustworthy and reliable. They do a great job pairing up dogs for walks and make sure all the pups are safe and have fun! -

From Carolina & Gabe:We cannot express enough how much Jason and his team (especially CJ, Steph and Nikko) have made a difference in our lives with Kona. After rescuing Kona in September of 2020, we realized she needed a lot of support on walks due to anxiety and leash reactivity toward other dogs. Konas trainer, Canine Cohen, recommended GoDog and we never looked back. Jason and his team have been so supportive from the start, and he even partnered with Konas trainer to ensure we were all on the same page regarding Konas care. I really believe Jason is one of Konas favorite humans ever, she just about pees herself from excitement every time he walks through the door. He is attentive to all of Konas needs and makes sure that she feels safe and comfortable on her walks in our hectic, fast-paced Brooklyn neighborhood. We also placed the highest level of trust in GoDog for overnight stays. On those occasions, Steph would make sure to send us daily updates, letting us know how Konas day/night went, what parks they visited on walks, and of course some pictures of Koko. After four years of being with GoDog, we are so sad to say goodbye but we are so grateful for the amazing memories made. We know Kona will never forget them. From Kona:Dear GoDog Family,Thank you for making my walks so enjoyable in our hectic Brooklyn neighborhood. I can get nervous around other dogs but I know that everytime I am with you, I will be safe and I dont have to worry about anything. Jason, thanks for being the cool uncle that lets me occasionally stalk pigeons (lol). And thanks for letting me give you 100000 smooches on your entire face when you come over. Not even mom lets me do that :DSteph, thank you for our fun walks and sleepovers, for playing with me, and for the non-stop cuddles.I will miss you all SO much and I cant wait for the day that we meet again. With love,Kona -

Jason and his team, shout out to Nikko and Steph, take wonderful care of our pup! when we moved to Brooklyn we were very concerned about finding a dog Walker that can work with him as he has a lot of idiosyncrasies. Previously my brother would watch him so it can be hard to find new people you trust with your fur baby and we trust Jason and his team. Our dog can be reactive and has a lot of food allergies. The team works with us on these. We’ve left him overnight with Steph twice now and I swear our dog prefers them over us 😂. What can I say, they’re the best! -

GoDog has been amazing every step of the way. Jason took the time to get to know our pup Gus when he was still an anxious rescue getting used to socializing. CJ, Steph, and Jen became Guss favorite humans and every time they stopped by he would leap up and kiss them (and hes shy around most humans and not at all kissy).Jason also literally saved Guss life in one incident that was not at all his fault. And Im forever grateful for that.If you want dog walkers who actually love dogs and are not just doing it as a gig, who will go above and beyond for you & your dog, I cannot recommend GoDog enough. We moved out of Brooklyn recently and honestly one of the hardest parts was making Gus say goodbye to these walkers who truly cared about him and the pack he formed on those walks. -

Jason and his team have been an incredible for us and our pup, Leo. The team treats the dogs like their own and we feel so fortunate to have them as part of Leos family. Would absolutely recommend their services to anyone in the area. -

Jason Durishin worked wonders with our skittish/bananas rescue who was picking up leash reactivity from our older dog. I was unable to walk them together and it was kind of destroying my life—or so it felt. We worked with a trainer and, after some intense work (basic leash manners, commands, etc) she recommended Jason to continue working on walking/reactivity. He is a lifesaver. A true dog whisperer. After a couple of weeks of training walks, our girls were doing great and graduated to one of his regular walkers. Jason carefully trains and matches his staff with the dogs once they graduate from training walks with him—and it’s evident. His walkers are on a different level—so attentive and conscientious. They work with the dogs vs just walking them. I work from home and hear them come and go—such sweet interactions and my dogs adore them. -

We have been working with Go Dog for several years now and cannot recommend them enough! Our 10 year old, 50 lb pit mix is super sweet but is afraid of children and other dogs, but Jason and his team have been incredibly dedicated to nurturing her and helping her on her walks. The teams love for what they do is palpable and I never worry when our dog is with them. Jason is very responsive to scheduling changes and communicative about how the walks are going. Hire Go Dog for all of your Brooklyn Dog Walking needs! -

Weve used GoDog for years with our own dog, a pitbull mix rescue who can be reactive with other dogs. Jason, the owner, got him successfully walking with a pack of other dogs that our pup will also play with and gets excited to see. All of the walkers hes employed are lovely and clearly really love dogs. We always get a full update on the walk afterward. Jason has also given us great suggestions for dog gear and tips on managing dog behavior. Our dog has also stayed with him several times when weve gone away and he always has a great time. Highly recommend them if youre looking for someone to walk your pup! -

The GoDog family has been nothing short of extraordinary when it comes to taking care of our rescue, Enzo, and they have been a welcome visitor to our home nearly each day for the past two years. In addition to being incredibly dependable and highly communicative, Jason and his team have a true passion for dogs and make sure that their happiness and more importantly safety stands above all else. They take the time to get to know each dog individually and their temperament so that they can best integrate everyone into the pack. We are beyond grateful for having found GoDog to take care of Enzo, and we know from his tail wagging when any of the walkers arrive that he would agree with us. -

GoDog Brooklyn has been a LIFESAVER for our family. We adopted our highly reactive dog 2 years ago and we couldnt walk around our block without him going crazy at every dog in sight. Our dog trainer recommended Jason Durishin and his team who are miracle dog whisperers who helped socialize and train our dog to walk in a small pack. We are now able to take our dog to the park and he plays with other dogs without a problem. GoDog is not some anonymous dog walking outfit - Jason, Steph and Nico love your animal as they love their own and the feeling is fully reciprocated. They also offer overnight services and some boarding for when we go out of town. -

GoDog has been a complete lifesaver. My fiance and I have two dogs, and the larger of the two is very reactive to a number of predictable and sometimes unpredictable triggers. For a long time, the two of us were the only two who could manage him on walks, which is an isolating and untenable experience! With both of us going back to the office 5 days, we were at a loss for what to do. Enter Jason. Not only does he adore our dogs like his own, he is training our reactive dog to improve his leash skills and overcome his triggers and weve seen huge strides. He sends thorough updates every day, is super communicative, and sees the best in our sweet dog. We cant thank him and GoDog enough and would recommend them to anyone in the area who needs a trusted walker or trainer! -

My partner and I cant recommend GoDog enough! Jason and his team take the best care of our dog, Ernie. Ernie is a rescue and was wary of new people and dogs when we reached out to Jason. He took the time to get to know Ernie and took him on solo walks before testing out pack walks. The GoDog team really cares about the safety of the dogs they walk and ensures the dogs in the group get along well. Ernie also adores his walker, William, who cares so much about his happiness and shares the sweetest updates and photos from their walks. -

They helped my dog (Don Don) so much! She was reactive and anxious around new people and environments that taking her on walks was difficult. I was initially so nervous leaving her with GoDog but not only does she always come back from her walks happy, theyve helped her socialize with other dogs and people. -

Ive worked with Jason and his team for almost two years now and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a dogwalker or local dogsitter. My dog gets scared at times but Jason and his team are incredibly patient and make sure that he feels comfortable AND that he and the other dogs in his walking group get along. -

We have been using the GoDog team for around a year with our 50lb energetic Husky and he LOVES Steph and all the team. He gets super excited for his regular walks and the team have been very accommodating for any last-minute needs as well. GoDog were recommended by our dog trainer and the team have helped maintain his training along with giving him lots of exercise, attention and socialization. We get updates on how each walk goes along with photos and the team always ensure everything is set when he gets back home from his walk as well. Highly recommended! -

GoDoG has been so wonderful. I had never needed a dog walker before I had surgery and couldnt walk my Shirley myself. Jason was super responsive, the portal was very easy to use, and my dog walker Stephanie was such good energy and Shirley loved her. The dogs that Shirley walked with were well-suited to her, the pack was never larger than four, and Shirley always returned home with smiles. The billing was easy, the intake was detailed and conscientious, and I really trusted the team I was working with. I highly recommend GoDoG Brooklyn for dog walking. It was exactly the combo of exercising and socializing that my dog needed. I think my pup made good friends, and I know (because I was home) that Shirley was looking for Stephanie and crew because she was excited for her time with them. Additionally, every walk fell within the scheduled window, and communication with the team met all my expectations. I highly recommend. -

Godog has been walking my dog Yumi for over a year and I highly highly recommend them if youre looking for a walker! Steph, William, and Jason all seem to really care about Yumi, and her well being, I know she feels similarly because shes incredibly excited when her walker for the day arrives. The walks are always in small groups, consistently with the same one or maximum two other dogs, all of whom are friendly and well socialized. After each walk I receive a very charming update along with very cute pictures.Overall I highly recommend Godog, Ive used several dog walking services over the years and Godog is by far my favorite! -

To say we LOVE godogbrooklyn is an understatement. When Steph comes to the door, Mousse, our mini-sheepadoodle, is SO happy to see her she runs to her for pets. The whole team is super responsive, kind and just a group of lovely people. Jason and Steph have been able to help with so many last minute needs and even do overnights which has been so great for trips! I cant recommend godog enough! -

I cant recommend GoDoG enough. We have a bulldog with a bad back that requires a little special attention (little booties on walks, no stairs, etc.) Because of this, we have never felt comfortable leaving him with someone we dont know, so finding a family member or friend has been our go to since moving to Brooklyn.Unforeseen circumstances found us without a pet sitter (we have an elderly cat as well), when we had to go out of town last minute, so I reached out to Jason to chat about our predicament. He was great on the phone, got me set up to have one of his walkers, Cameron, come over for a meet and greet a couple of days later. YALL! Cameron is a gem, sent the best updates to us every morning letting us know how things were going on the homestead, and was sooooo prompt at responding. We came home to two very happy animals, and had a stress-free trip as a result. I am so thrilled that we found Godog, and will absolutely be using them again and again. Thank you, Jason & Cameron! -

We’ve been working with Jason for several months now, and he’s nothing short of a miracle worker. Our 110 lb dog was found as an adult stray, and seems to have had no socialization at all with other dogs. As a result of that isolation, and who knows what other awful experiences, she tended to be extremely anxious around and aggressive towards other dogs and sometimes even human strangers. We hired several trainers before Jason which brought some small improvements to her behavior, but since she’s been meeting with Jason, she is a changed pup: overall calmer, happier, no longer triggered by other dogs and even able to hang out (supervised and muzzled) with other dogs in dog parks, which for us is nothing short of a miracle. Even walking her is like walking a completely different dog, one who not only is not aggressive towards other dogs, but interested in and friendly toward them, whereas before we often couldn’t even walk on the same street if there were other dogs there. We only wish we had found Jason sooner, for all of our sakes. -

Rosie, our corgi-pitt rescue, struggled with extreme leash reactivity when we adopted her at 5 yrs old. We did training elsewhere and although she improved, shes still an emotional girl adjusting to Brooklyn life. She started doing Walk & Train sessions with GoDoG founder Jason in March 2023 with the goal of getting Rosie into regular group walks. We even went along for a couple sessions to observe, ask questions, and get some coaching. It was important to us that Rosie be introduced to new dogs in a controlled setting by professionals, and we were thrilled at how seamless the process was. Now, Rosie is a happy member of the GoDoG pack doing regular group walks to continue nurturing her social skills. She is more relaxed when we walk her solo and weve had success introducing her to new pups in our neighborhood. We ran into Jason on our block recently and Rosie was so excited to greet him she completely ignored the dog he was walking. Its an incredible transformation that has improved Rosie’s quality of life and brought us closer with our sweet, goofy girl. -

I cant recommend GoDog Brooklyn enough! Our great dane has been walking with them for close to two years now, and the GoDog crew has been wonderfully accommodating to his specific needs due to his size (solo walks, slower pace, stops to rest on hot days, etc.). Jason clearly cares about all his doggy clients and their parents, and Nikko and Steph are wonderful walkers (Jerry gives them lots of nose boops each time they come by). If you are within their neighborhood range in Brooklyn, you should 100% have one of the GoDog crew take care of your pup. -

The GoDog team, especially our most common walkers Nikko, Jason, and Steph, have been amazing this past year for our 2-year-old pup Harper. Harper is a shy, anxious, loving pup who quickly grew to trust and adore her walkers and best doggo buds Finn and JoJo. She runs to the door with every buzzer hoping to see her pals. With Harper having a very limited diet and significant health issues (EPI, SIBO, IBS, food allergies, and noise phobias) the GoDog team has been patient and caring throughout her long diagnosis journey. The consistent socialization with her outgoing and relaxed dog friends has brought Harper out of her comfort zone and has helped her enjoy walks more on the busy streets of Brooklyn – as long as there are no garbage trucks :) Jason is fantastic at matching dog personalities – they all bring out the best in each other. You’re in good hands with this crew! -

Our dog deficiency had gone on far too long so I scoured the world wide web to find our sweet, silly, Alf. We loved him instantly--hes kind, humorous, and fills our hearts with joy daily. There was no way wed reciprocate by leaving him alone for hours on end, wondering if that noisy stinky kennel wasnt so bad after all. I called my neighbors who have a most resplendent Great Dane, figuring theyd have a resource or two, and yes, they sure did!The Dane family connected me to Jason, the very thorough and caring founder of GoDoG, and the rest has been the history of bliss. After we humans head to work, Alf knows hes one short nap away from his best day ever, every day: His beloved Steph (or sometimes Ana or Giulia) arrives to help him with his ongoing research project: How do squirrels get up trees? Working theory: nice long toenails. Hes been blessed with lab assistants who get him, and give him the time to watch and learn. And play, and experience his dogginess, safely. Alf is a lucky dog to have GoDoG in his life! -

Jason and his team (shoutout to Steph) have really helped us with exposing Evie, our 14 week old rescue, to the sounds and sights of NYC streets. We really appreciate how much love and care they have for Evie and for us as we navigate puppyhood. Jason works closely with Evie’s trainer, Canine Cohen, which allows us to maintain consistency as we build up her confidence and get her comfortable on leash.Thank you for taking such great care of us
