We love Hustle Pups! The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They send daily photo updates where our pup always looks so happy and full of energy! Astro my 9 month old Goldendoodle loves going to HustlePups! He’s stayed there twice now, both a week long stay. They send daily photos which are adorable, he makes so many friends while there. They’re also super accommodating with scheduling. We had him planned for a two day boarding but had to extend to 5 days the day before we were to pick him up and they were so lovely about it! Will continue to board with them, looking into training with them too!

Leaving our pup with Hustlepups for board and train wasnt a decision that my partner and I took lightly. The prospect of leaving our little guy in someone elses hands for weeks of training was something we poured a lot of thought into.The results were far beyond my expectations. Since that time, weve continued to work with Hustlepups whenever we need someone to look after our dog for an extended period of time. Their frequent updates and professional staff leave us at ease.Most importantly, our DOG LOVES the place. He gets so excited when were on the way to drop him off- thats a sure sign were leaving him in good hands.

Hustle Pups is incredible! The team walks and trained our dog from when she was a puppy onwards. They have been amazing for her behavior, disposition and well being. She lives for her daily walks with Hustle Pups. She also had an anxiety and biting problem which the amazing trainers at Hustle Pups helped us cure in just 3 sessions. I highly recommend Hustle Pups for anyone who loves their dog!!!

Kelly, Zack and their team take wonderful care of our dog! We have been working with them since he was a puppy on obedience training, leash behavior and reactivity. Since he is our first dog, Kelly did a great job of helping us understand dog psychology, what resources we have to work with when training, and how to keep him on a consistent schedule. We were so happy when they expanded and got their training loft so we could start using them for boarding and daycare. After a few bad experiences at other daycares, hustle pups is the only place we leave our dog! He loves it and usually starts dragging us to the front door once he realizes where we are going. The location is a bit tricky to get to but it’s worth it for the care your pet will receive.

Kelly, Zack, and the whole Hustle Pups team have been looking after Charlotte since 2021. Shes done the Board and Train 3-week program and been boarded several times since. I could not recommend them enough. They are professional, worked diligently with Charlotte to instill good behavior and ensure consistent success, have always sent her back to me better than I sent her to them (and a lot more tired), and have been absolutely lovely to me in all of our interactions. Also--and this is key--over the years they have taken my all-time favorite (smiley) pictures of Charlotte. If you need someone to mind your dog, send them to Hustle Pups!!

We love the Hustle pups team so much! Kelly helped to train our vizsla Miley (and our understanding) with small issues like walking and jumping when she was a pup, and now we board her here during any trip. She gets SO excited when she sees that blue door, the team always keeps us updated with photos and play dates, and Miley returns very well behaved, happy and tired. It’s such a relief to have somewhere close by that we trust so much. we can’t thank the team enough!

Hustle Pups is the best daycare in the city. We met Hustle Pups via our trainer, Kates Canines LLC, and immediately switched to them even though its a longer commute for us and we had another daycare that we love across the street from us.What makes Hustle Pups different is that unlike most daycares where its all day play with only a few handlers and tons of dogs, they have a smaller handler:dog ratio (with some handlers being trainers), dogs are matched based on temperament, theres mandatory crate/nap times in between play sessions, dogs get pack walks/solo walks, and they also feed dogs breakfast and dinner during their stay. My dog Winston tries to go a few times a month and always comes back happy and fulfilled. I dont ever worry about him when hes there. He hasnt boarded with them yet, but I would definitely feel safe leaving him at Hustle Pups if we needed to. Most recently, they started offering agility sessions which Winston loves! Definitely recommend Hustle Pups for your dog care needs :).

I LOVE HustlePups so much! My pup Zooey did their board & train program and it was life changing. It felt like she came back a totally different dog—she was so happy in her crate, more confident on walks, very responsive to commands— honestly it was incredible what they did with my maniac, very excited puppy. Zooey is also a frequent boarder when I travel. I call it “camp” because she loves it so much and is so excited to go…when she sees the blue door, she literally cannot wait to go in! They take amazing care of her, she has an awesome time playing with the other pups and I know she’s going to be in good hands. Love, love, love this place!

Realized I never left a review for HustlePups! 5 stars! Our dog friendly but extremely human nervous, fearful dog has boarded with them twice now and has a fantastic time! The space is roomy and clean and the dogs have supervised play sessions. Ive learned so much from Kelly and Zack and couldnt trust them more with my pup Ash (which says a lot coming from me). Kelly and everyone at Hustle Pups completely changed the trajectory of our dog Rudys life. He was a feisty shelter dog and returned from Board & Train with the same zest for life but an understanding that his owners were in charge. We received almost daily photo/video updates and were given everything we could need at pick up. Rudy is much happier and loves his Hustle Pups friends, he was very excited to go back for regular boarding and to see Kelly at follow up sessions.Kelly is amazing to work with. Shes funny, kind, and she deeply cares about the dogs. We still text her updates months after picking him up. Hustle Pups is an incredible operation through and through. From private training to day stays or board and train…this is the place to go. Kelly’s hand-on approach shows from start to finish and everyone on her team is so incredibly nice, genuine and passionate. Jay is an angel trainer and has the patience of a goddess who has been leading my 14 week year old puppy! Our pup started out sleep deprived and feral and is now becoming much more balanced each week as we move through the puppy training program. 10/10 recommend and beyond. Thank you, Hustlepups!

We LOVE Hustlepups and the entire team!! Our sweet Otis was a very anxious and reactive Australian Shepard rescue who would not even go outside to use the bathroom. He attended the Board and Train and came back an incredibly confident and happy pup. It completely changed our life and his! We trust no one more than Hustlepups with our precious little guy who will be going back to board with them whenever we leave town. I cannot recommend them enough for any and all of their services. Cannot recommend Hustle Pups more highly! I sent my dog Emi to their Board and Train program for four weeks. I am incredibly impressed with the overall progress she made and how much happier of a dog she is. The results really were more than I imagined possible in 4 weeks.Aside from the excellent training she received, I really appreciated how communicative everyone was throughout the process. I was very nervous to leave my dog in a place she didn’t know but Hustle Pups was in constant communication providing updates and sending pics and videos. I knew she was in good hands and happy, which made me feel so secure in my decision to board her. I will continue to rely on Hustle Pups for boarding in the future and feel confident my dog will be really well taken care of whenever she is with Hustle Pups, which is a huge relief to have that kind of resource in the city.

We’ve really enjoyed working with Kate! Our puppy was dealing with a lot of fear transitioning to NYC. Kate gave us the tools we needed to teach our dog to be confident and well behaved on walks. Hustle Pups NYC have been an absolute godsend. I was at my wits end with my very spirited, very dominant puppy. She was aggressive, biting and attacking anyone who came near her, chewing up everything in sight, and being generally destructive. I called up Kelly and within the first training session, it was a night and day difference. After several sessions, the difference in my puppy’s behavior and disposition is so marked that it’s like she’s an entirely new dog. So obedient and sweet and joyful and friendly. Hustle Pups basically saved us! They have been tremendously present, patient, and generous with their time and advice. I use their dog walking services now too, and I eagerly await the hilarious and sweet recaps, along with amazing photos of my lil frisky gal. I highly recommend Hustle Pups to anyone who is looking for talented, caring dog whisperers. Kelly and Zack are the real deal!

As first time dog owners, my partner and I started from absolute scratch when it came to training our new rescue pup Babka to walk on leash without pulling and tolerate other dogs on the street without freaking out. We had multiple sessions with Kelly for our 7 month old rescue puppy. She came to our apartment which was convenient and helpful to know that she was able to meet and assess our pup in person. Tony had horrible separation anxiety to the point where we couldn’t leave the room, after one session of training for this specifically we are now able to leave him alone in the apartment! That alone was worth every penny. I highly recommend Kelly to anyone with a dog in need of training she is super personable and fun to hang out with, she also provides hilarious and relatable explanations to help non professionals understand the training techniques and what they actually mean to your dog. Communication and care was excellent. 10/10 would recommend!

I sent my puppy, Leo, to Kelly and Zack at Hustlepups for their Board & Train program when he was 5 months old. The difference when he came back 3 weeks later was astounding! He had some basic commands down before he went to them (but not many, and not consistently!). After being with them, Leo was really listening and responding to the commands, walking on a leash (like a normal dog!), actually going into his crate on command (that was huge!), eating properly, really behaving so much better than before! Follow up texts after he came home were amazing as well. I had so many questions and Kelly was incredibly responsive. Even in the late night hours! When Kelly came for follow up trainings, it was clear how much Leo loved her - he greets everyone happily but this was amazing to see, and so heart-warming to know, just how loved and nurtured he had been during his time with Hustlepups. I highly highly recommend Kelly & Zack for your puppy (or grown up dogs) needs!

Kelly and Zack were amazing with my Aussiedoodle puppy, Hudson. Hudson went with Hustle Pups for 3 week board and train and came back a different dog - calm, attentive, and even happier than before! With my boyfriend and I both working from home, it has been life changing having a new routine with Hudson where our walks are enjoyable bonding and exercise time (loose leash, eyes on me!) and he’s happy napping in his crate during the day. Before, during, and after the 3 weeks, Kelly has been incredibly responsive and helpful. She had a FaceTime session with me before we even got Hudson to help start a potty training routine, sent endless pictures and videos during the 3 weeks, and most importantly continues to follow up (via text and follow up training sessions) to make sure the training sticks. I loved that I felt comfortable knowing that Hudson would be in a home environment, treated like a part of the family. Kelly and Zack were relatable, responsible, and an absolute joy to work with. I will be recommending Hustle Pups to all of my puppy-parent friends and family!!!

They’re super responsive, send updates and photos, and I’ve noticed a huge difference in my dog upon return. HustlePups is the absolute best in New York for training and boarding. Kelly trained my dog when i rescued him from Puerto Rico and he is so well behaved and wonderful thanks to her! I also have my dog board with Hustle Pups every time I travel and I know my pup is safe and in good hands, plus i get daily updates with lots of great pics! Kelly and Zack are so personable and helpful and really make me feel like my dog is specially cared for as if he was one of there own. This is so hard to find in New York as many places are overcrowded daycares with exhausted staff who barely know the dogs’ names. HustlePups is a step above everything else!

Kelly is patient with both the pups and humans alike. She took time to understand what we needed to make the training successful in terms of structure and assignments and videos. And she went at the pace of dogs, feeling out how fast they were learning, never pushing before they were ready. She was also very resilient and inventive, always ready with another suggestion or trick if something wasn’t working. We love how relatable Kelly is and how available she made herself, two qualities that IMO will make or break any long term training relationship. We will continue our training with Kelly and we now consider her a friend.

Kelly and team (Zach, Kim, Rachel, Mary Moore, Jay) are dog whispering angels walking this earth. We adopted our 3rd rescue, Spinach, in July 2021 and very quickly found out he had aggression issues towards humans. We tried private training sessions with other trainers and they didn’t make a difference. We were at the end of the rope and started looking for boarding boot camps and came across Hustlepups. We first decided to try a few private training sessions with Kelly which Spinach made progress, but we decided in order to see a big change he would need boarding and training. After the 3 weeks, Spinach came home a different, happier dog. He is the most obedient dog I have ever encountered. We know this is just the beginning and we need to keep the structure and training going to continue his success. During his board and train we got so many amazing progress updates from Kelly and Zach and saw how much Spinach actually loved all the team members which was shocking as he couldn’t be around humans besides me and my husband before the board and train. I couldn’t recommend Hustlepups more, we are so lucky we found them!

If you are reading the other glowing reviews here and thinking can HustlePups really be this great? the answer is YES! Kelly, Kate, Zach and the rest of the HustlePups team are amazing humans who work wonders with the pups in their care. Our 2-year old mini-Aussie was very fearful of the city streets and was increasingly reactive to scary sights/sounds. We had tried other trainers who left us feeling desperate and wondering if Navy could live in the city. The HustlePups team was undaunted, and after 4 weeks in board and train, hes now able to walk right past the buses and trucks that used to have him crawling for the door. In addition to training our pup, the HustlePups team empowered us to be confident handlers and continue his training once he came home. Do yourself a favor and stop looking -- HustlePups is the best training around.

We had lost hope with our 1.5 year old corgi. Working with Kelly we were able to see progress after the first 1 hour session. She gave us tools that we had not learned yet that worked efficiently and quickly. She helped equip us to be able to do the things we would like to do on a regular basis with our pup (like go outside for a walk!). We would recommend Kelly for all dogs as she seems to be able to help solve the unique challenges of many dogs.

Kelly is a rockstar! When we described our questions and issues about our pup Bernie, she really listened, observed and adapted her training methods to Bernies needs to great success. We had three private training sessions with her, and we already see such huge improvements to Bernies leash behavior and crate training. She also checks in with us periodically and asks us to reach out any time we have questions, which is such a huge support that we are so grateful to have. Shes able to explain the methodology behind the training, which really arms us with knowledge to follow through with what we learned. Kelly is the best!!

Kelly and the team at Hustle Pups did an incredible job training and caring for our puppy Mojo. They developed a strong bond over the 3 weeks of intensive Board & Train. Mojo improved his behavior significantly, including for separation anxiety, leash walking, and resource guarding. Before his session, we were unable to leave Mojo home alone, and now we can finally go out again without him. Thank you Hustle Pups! We recommend to everyone.

Our 7 month puppy, Milka, joined HustlePups Board and Train program for 3 weeks. Kelly and team not only took such good care of Milka but also sent us regular update on Milkas progress. At the end of the training program, we were given a few hours of in person coaching and a lot of resources to continue Milkas training at home. Milkas leash manner and reactivity was a big issue previously and we couldnt believe how much improvement we saw in 3 short weeks. As first time pup parents, HustlePups coaching helped us understand so much more of Milkas needs and communication. Brought my first pup to Hustlepups for an intensive board and train. Great experience for both me and my dog. Got us through crate training quickly. I have continued since with one on one training. These folks are easy to work with and have a vast knowledge base to share. Highly recommend them.

Kelly was awesome with our pup Abby! Abby has separation anxiety and learned the ropes of Independence through training with Kelly. She learned to enjoy her crate and go potty outside. Extremely recommend Kelly for anything you’d like for your pup. She’s extremely kind and loves what she does.

Kelly and the folks at Hustle Pups are so easy to work with. They cared for my pup as if she was their own. Falky (my dog) stays with them when we leave town and she learned her first tricks with them. If you need a walker, sitter or some training...these folks are the best.

Kelly and Zack are miracle workers! After three weeks with them, my St Bernard mix, Mavis, was so well behaved on a leash and trained. Before, we couldn’t encounter dogs, squirrels, skateboarders, cyclists without a major reaction. Being outside was extremely stressful! She now knows more commands, is more obedient and is an angel on our walks. HUGE difference! We’ve actually gone to dinner together; something I never would have imagined. HustlePups NYC has made life with Mavis so enjoyable. A huge thank you to Kelly and Zack!

Its true– kelly is a dog whispering angel walking this earth. after four sessions with her, navy is unrecognizable. prior to meeting kelly, walking navy was a total nightmare. shes only 19 pounds, but shed never fail to pull my partner and i down the street. her recall was nonexistent, and her separation anxiety was on a whole different level. we were about to lose hope, but then we contacted kelly and from our initial consultation, we knew we made the right choice. shes thoughtful with all of her teachings; she was patient with navy and really took the time to understand her behavior. if one method didnt work for navy, kelly quickly pivoted to find the one that did. shes solution-oriented, dedicated and supportive. having a dog with extreme separation anxiety is heartbreaking, and kelly has kept us on our toes throughout this process and was our constant peace of mind. four sessions later, navy is a more confident and happier dog and were assured that we have all the right tools to continue providing structure for her. we couldnt have gotten to this point without kelly, and we cant recommend her enough. :)

Kelly is great, during COVID-19 she had to completely freestyle and help us train our puppy via FaceTime and she was able to give us a great structure for our first few weeks having the pup. Knows her stuff and was intuitive with problem solving early on.
