Inna has been a huge help for both Puck and me! She quickly understood his behavior and worked with us to make real improvements. Puck is calmer and more responsive now, and she gave me practical strategies to keep up the progress at home. I’m really happy with the results and highly recommend her!

I got my rescue dog, Truffles back in May. Overall he was an amazing pup but once he was settled in, he started suffering from separation anxiety. He would bark nonstop when I left the apartment so my rescue organization recommended Inna. Inna helped guide me through a long process to help Truffles become more comfortable being alone. She was very patient and even though his progress was slow in the beginning, I just trusted the process. After about two months, he was finally ok with being alone for 10+ minutes which was a huge deal. Each day we add a little more time. Inna also answered lots of other questions not related to separation anxiety such as leash pulling/minor aggression. She was always happy to answer any little question I had about Truffles which I appreciated.

Oh I am soooo incredibly grateful for Inna! My Australian Shepherd, Nick was highly reactive with massive amounts of anxiety - he was lunging toward people and other dogs aggressively growling and barking. It caused me so much anxiety myself and Inna was SO kind and therapeutic even! She’s such a wonderful trainer and equipped me with all the tips and info I need to help make things more manageable for both the pup and I! Our in-person sessions always left me feeling more confident about managing Nick’s behavior and the shorter zoom check-ins were incredibly helpful as well! She’s really friendly, an excellent listener, thorough and funny too :)Our 5 lesson pack was absolutely without a doubt worth every penny spent and more! I highly highly recommend working with Inna! She’s helped improve our lives significantly and I’m forever grateful. I’ve even been able to bring Nick to a brewery and he can be ok around people and even a few other dogs with no issues! 🥹🐶❤️

The pandemic hit in the middle of training and we had to do the majority of our training over Zoom - which our trainer Inna handled perfectly! Our puppy Dolly is so well behaved and sweet and Inna helped make that happen. She’s super personable and gets to know you and your pup and how you interact, and she’s fantastic at tailoring lessons to your specific needs/worries. Couldn’t have asked for a better class, and we’d recommend it even during the quarantine!

Inna was super helpful in setting up a framework to deal with my dog Ellies reactive behaviors. Through gradual exercises and follow-ups, the difference for my pup in just two months is impressive. Definitely recommend!

My pup has two stages in his life: his rebellious, inside peeing, stranger barking, leash tugging youth, and post-Wag The Dog training adulthood. Throughout our training lessons, Inna transformed my little guy into a dog Im not anxious to take to friends homes or to the office. He has been loveable and looked adorable from the beginning but now has the temperament to match, and none of that would be possible without Inna, whose teaching (both of my dog and myself), post-lesson contacting, and general approach to pup life transformed my little guy (and thus, my household!). 10/10!

I’m so grateful we found Inna!! My rescue boy with a laundry list of heath & behavior issues had developed some serious dog reactivity over the pandemic, and had become a real source of anxiety in our lives. Every walk was like going into battle, and leaving him with a sitter while we were out of town was scary and stressful.After meeting my boy for the first time, Inna gave us some simple tools to manage him on walks, and things got better so quickly-and he has never been a quick learner! She’s incredibly intuitive & good at what she does. After several more lessons, we now lurk around parks & dog runs to look for opportunities to practice being closer & closer to other dogs, and I come home with happy stories about his behavior every walk! The change in his stress level & ours is something I felt like might never happen, and it’s such a huge relief.Inna taught us so much about managing our little goober, and not just his reactivity, and we’re all so much happier for it! I only wish I would have found her sooner, but I won’t hesitate to get some more lessons from Inna when anything comes up that we need help working on. Thank you SO MUCH Inna!

I went to a few different dog trainers before I stumbled upon Inna. The other trainers were either balanced trainers (e.g. some negative reinforcement), not very responsive, or parroted the same advice and I was feeling extremely stressed from raising a new puppy on my own. I took her puppy manners class and began emailing her with any related puppy questions and I cannot emphasize how much she has helped me with raising my puppy. She really listens to the specifics of your situation and how you communicate with your puppy and tailors her advice to help. This is something that I did not get from other trainers.I definitely do not feel as overwhelmed as when I first brought my puppy home and I appreciate all the attention and help that Inna has given me. She really cares about her clients and their dogs and I am looking forward to taking more classes with her as my puppy grows.

Weve tried 3 different trainers before Wag the Dog NYC. Wag the Dog is incredible - their team is not only educated in dog training (possibly other animals too) but are passionate about what they do and will not give up until youve reached results. We brought our dog to their puppy kindergarten and later used them several times to walk through specific issues (recall and being polite to strangers) - I cant say our dog is perfect (she is a terrier in the city!) but shes close to it ;) We have even taken classes with them as refreshers because it gets our dog excited. I recommend them to everyone I know.

Highly recommend Inna! She was able to help me with my dog who significantly regressed in crate training as he grew to be 2 years old. I was not able to make progress with another trainer before I found her and I am so grateful for her help. We were able to cover several topics in the 5 sessions we had, even beyond the crate. The Zoom format helped significantly so that she could see my dog’s normal behavior without a guest in the house. Can’t recommend enough!
