My dog gets two walks a week. I’m kept up to date with when the walker will arrive and am provided lots of photo updates throughout her 30 minute walk. We’ve had a few different walkers since starting out, and all of them have been reliable and fantastic. My dog walks with a few neighborhood dogs regularly, and they all get so excited to see each other.We are also a big fan of their dog sitting services, my dog gets the royal treatment when she stays with them. It’s nice to have someone you feel comfortable leaving your dog with, and I can’t think of anyone I’d trust more!

We are so grateful for Brooklyn Tails and Trails for loving and taking our dog Loki for walks. Nelli is such a wonderful owner and was always accessible and flexible & we have loved having Nathalie as our primary dog walker. They send a ton of (humorous) pictures of Loki on every walk which has filled our camera roll. Nathalie was always very attentive and we trusted her completely with picking up and dropping Loki on every walk. We 1000% recommend them for Brooklyn dog walking /pet sitting needs!

Reliable, capable, and trustworthy.BKTT has been walking my rambunctious 115lb Great Dane mix for years without any issue or concern. He always looks forward to his walks and they’ve been a huge positive for his behavior and socialization.They especially went above and beyond when I had emergency surgery and was unable to walk my dog regularly for a few weeks.

TL;DR the walking service has been reliable, consistent and really amazing!Nelli made sure our onboarding process was smooth, she came over and gave us immediate confidence in her and the team.Nathaly is our walker, she loves the dogs and they love her. Nat sends us pictures every day, the dogs who are generally lazy city dogs who dont like walks, are very happy when she arrives.Love the service, would recommend to anyone who is looking for dog walking services.

I have used Brooklyn Tails and Trails for the last year and they have been amazing. Nelli and Team are very responsive for all requests, the internal system is super easy to go into and add or cancel an appointment. My dog Reese adores Mr. Frank. The care and love he has for the dogs he walks shines through the entertaining commentary/update he provides post walk each day via Whatsapp. I trust BKTT and would recommend them to anyone I know in the area.

Have had nothing but positive experiences with BTT! As a newcomer to NYC/Brooklyn I was extremely worried about how my pup would handle being a city dog. Its obvious that my dog is completely comfortable with each of the walkers he has worked with and I look forward to receiving my daily-doggie update every time he has a visit!I would 100% recommend BTT to anyone in my building and fellow dog-parents in the area. The service is great, extremely affordable, and has made transitioning to the city super easy!

We love using Brooklyn Tails & Trails for our dog walking needs! We live in Brooklyn Heights and our walker Isaiah is amazing. He approached our shy rescue pup like a pro and after one meeting she loved him! Were so lucky to have found this amazing team, they are always accommodating to any special requests we have and are a pleasure to work with. Isaiah regularly sends photos when he takes our dog out and you can tell he genuinely cares about her. They are very organized, efficient, and communicative. I would absolutely recommend them to a friend or family member any time!

Cant say enough good things about Brooklyn Tails and Trails. Weve used their services ever since we brought our little Chelsea (mini dachshund) home a year and a half ago. Like any new puppy parents, we were very nervous and very specific with handling and care. We have had every request gladly accommodated, and we get great photos and text updates on every walk. Our walker is so incredibly patient, and Chelsea adores him. The communication and overall service is above and beyond. The prices are very competitive for the area, and the owner really worked with us to create a custom walking schedule for our pup. We absolutely love our dog, which can sometimes make trusting others a bit tough. You will not have that problem with Brooklyn Tails and Trails.

Brooklyn Tails & Trails is truly the best pet service I have ever used in New York! Nelli, Luis and the whole team make you feel so great and their level of attention and care for your pet is unparalleled. My dog absolutely loves his walker Gladys. The team sends photos and videos from the walks, including visits to the dog park when time allows, and makes sure my pup has food, water and the light on when he gets home. They provide excellent service at a fair price. I cant recommend them highly enough!

Brooklyn Tails & Trails is amazing! Our wirehair dachshund was 13 when we relocated to NYC and hed never had a dog walker so we were a bit worried how hed react. He immediately hit it off with our walker and absolutely loved going on walks with her and a neighborhood french bulldog. I loved that they were super careful introducing the two of them. When we moved to a new neighborhood, we seriously considered making sure we were in a Brooklyn Tails & Trails-supported area. This is how much we love them. The walker for our new neighborhood turned out to be just as amazing as our first one. She takes the cutest pictures of him (even better photos than I can take!), and always gives us super timely updates on how the walk went.I absolutely trust them with my dog and would recommend them to anyone in BK looking for fantastic dog walking service.

We love Brooklyn Tails and Trails! Theyre competitively priced, extremely friendly, and love our pup as much as we do. Theyre very understanding and will work with you to come up with the best walking schedule that fits your needs. We especially love getting photos of our pup during his walk!Our dog had a hard time this past month (eye surgery, dog bite, neutering infection), and Brooklyn Tails and Trails always checked in to ask how he was recovering - even sent us a care package in the mail! Brooklyn Tails and Trails is very detail-oriented, professional company and a good friend to have!

I was new to Brooklyn when we started using Brooklyn Tails & Trails and I could not have been more satisfied. Nelli and her team hire an excellent crew of walkers who absolutely love dogs - and they become part of the family! They are communicative, take great photos, are thoughtful about the house (ensuring they know where a towel is on rainy days, cover the couch, etc), and so loving to our pups. I switched over to Brooklyn Tails & Trails because I wanted a walker who would really maximize the exercise and play my pup got in his hour walk - and they REALLY delivered on this promise!Erwin, our walker, even went above and beyond and took my dog to the vet when needed for surgery. It was such a relief to know my pup was in good hands when I was at work.I highly recommend!

Brooklyn Tails and Trails is wonderful. They have helped us care for our giant dog Piper since she was a puppy, initially doing puppy breaks for house training and now doing longer walks and dog park visits for exercise. They even took Piper in a pinch, with no warning, when I had my baby a few days ahead of our due date window. Nellie and her staff are incredibly responsive and reliable.they also bring a lot of love and humor to the job. I recommend them to friends and neighbors often and do so here as well!

I needed a consistent dog walking service when my baby was born and she was able to accommodate my fairly last minute request very quickly, which was a huge help for me. Id recommend them time and time again.

Nelli and the entire team at Brooklyn Tails & Trails are the absolute best! They are reliable, affordable, and incredibly kind and supportive. Weve been using BKTT for the past 18 months since we first got our rescue dog, and our walker PJ has been there since Day 1. Our schedule is constantly in flux and the team is accommodating without question and always incredibly responsive.Most importantly, the entire team is very thoughtful when it comes to the well-being of our dog. Recently, our guy has had some behavioral issues that require incredible patience and care, and PJ and Nelli have not missed a beat. We feel completely at ease with having BKTT in charge of our dog, and know that hes in good hands whenever hes out for a walk.I cant recommend BKTT enough and feel incredibly lucky to have come across them after a referral from a friend in the neighborhood.

Ive used Brooklyn Tails and Trails for 2+ years now. I had to stop using my prior dog-walking company because the owners lost their focus on the customer, became rude when any issues were called to their attention, and became much more concerned about making money than providing quality, responsible, mature dog walkers for the job. Also, they were not kind to their dog walkers. The opposite is true with Nelli and Brooklyn Tails and Trails. The walkers are smart, mature, caring, and responsible. And they like working for Nelli, who is lovely. This is exactly what you want in someone to whom you are entrusting your beloved pet and entry into your home. Im very pleased with this company and my dog walker (shout out to Cris!!). I imagine its very easy to simply throw up a sign and call yourself a dog-walking business. Its an entirely different thing to build and staff a professional business with caring, competent employees, run by a caring, competent owner - which is exactly what Nelli has done with Brooklyn Tails and Trails.

We used Brooklyn Tails and Trails for the two years we lived in Brooklyn. They are incredibly reliable and took great care of my dog Ronan. He loved Gladys - who took him out for 30 min every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, no matter the heat, rain, or cold. Everyone was always so kind and easy to work with, and it was the biggest relief to know Ronan was in good hands while I was at work. Highly recommend, and if Ill be back in touch with them if we move back to Brooklyn in the future!

Nelli and her team are absolutely amazing. We brought our labradoodle home in August of 2017 and Nelli and her team have been with us every step of the way. Erwin has not missed a walk and he sends the cutest photos with the funniest comments of Grizzly each and every day. The entire team is first rate and incredibly reliable and responsive. Grizzly has even stayed overnight with Luis when we’ve been away and we are able to relax because we know he is in loving and capable hands. Nelli has built a wonderful business which we highly recommend.

My pups love their walker Isaiah!! He is the best at sending photos from their walks with funny captions and keeping us in the loop. He is accommodating of our doxie’s special needs (can’t do stairs) and gives them extra personal attention when needed. We’ve also had two other walkers cover at times, and they were great too! We love Brooklyn Tails and Trails! The team is wonderful and truly takes care of my dog, Alfred, as if he were their own. To us, theyre not just dog walkers; they contribute to Alfreds wellbeing and happiness and have adopted us all into their pack. Cristal, his regular walker, always makes sure to check in with me during the day and provide updates and photos. She walks Alfred with an adorable crew of dogs with similar personalities and temperaments and you really see how much they love each other and how happy they are in the photos that she takes. She has also gone above and beyond for us so many times when Alfred isnt well or generally just off. It gives me peace of mind during the day and I really rely on her and trust her with Alfred. From day 1 its been a positive experience. Highly recommend this team to take care of your pets!

I have only the best things to say about Brooklyn Tails & Trails! They are the utmost professionals, excellent communicators, and all around nice and easy to work with! They are always quick to respond if we reach out with a request, question or cancellation, and are supremely easygoing and accommodating. Our walker sends us numerous pictures and texts every walk to show us our pup (with great captions and emojis!), and goes above and beyond by putting on our dogs raincoat if its raining and drying him off with a towel before she leaves. The whole experience, from setting up walks to payment is as easy as can be, and we trust them implicitly. I couldnt recommend them higher!

BKTT has been walking my dog for a couple years now and I couldnt be happier. They always do their best when I have a last minute request or a sudden change of plans. My dog is always spoiled on his walks. He gets to take his time sniffing around and, even though hes being mischievous looking for street snacks, BKTT is always attentive and professional. On a few occasions, theyve stayed over at my apartment. Its been such a relief finding them and having confidence that my dog is in good hands.

I highly recommend Brooklyn Tails and Trails. My dog, Toosa, loves her walkers, Cristal and Erwin. I trust them with my pup and feel very secure knowing that theyll take great care of her. When we moved to our new apartment, Toosa developed some separation anxiety, and the whole team have really helped us through that, making sure Toosa gets as long a walk as possible and setting her up with toys and treats once shes home. Organizing walks is extremely easy, even though my schedule is always changing.The pictures and comments we get always brighten my day! I obviously think my dog is amazing, but its fun to see other people who truly seem take joy in how funny and cute she is as well!

I would give 10 stars if I could! We started working with Brooklyn Tails & Trails after our rescue pup Ace came back from a board & train after exhibiting some challenging behavior. Richard, our new walker, and Nelli came to meet Ace and ended up staying for over an hour to do a training session with Ace and his trainer. Ace continued to be a little difficult as he got used to Richard, but Richard was a champ and slowly earned Aces trust. Other walkers would have given up, but Brooklyn Tails & Trails took it in stride and now we wouldnt feel comfortable using any other service to handle Ace.Everyone we have spoken with at B T&T is wonderful, considerate and reliable. We also LOVE the daily photo updates of Ace on his walks. Would recommend to anyone, especially to anyone with a challenging pup!

We hired Brooklyn Tails & Trails after our longtime dog-walking company stopped servicing our neighborhood, so needless to say I was nervous at the prospect of leaving our Cavalier King Charles—truly our fur baby—in unfamiliar hands. Well, it didnt take more than an email to put my fears at ease. Nelli, Luis, Eduardo and the entire BTT crew are incredible; you can tell everyone truly cares about their clients—both human and canine. Communication is easy and effective—its never an issue to schedule an extra walk or cancel one—and they send tons of pictures, many of which end up on Instagram. In addition, weve used BTT for overnight pet-sits when we travel and we rest easy knowing our pup is well cared for in a loving environment, even when were far away. I would recommend BTT to anyone who wants amazing dog walkers organized by an extraordinarily well-run business. Theyre truly part of the family!

We worked with BTT for 3 years and are so sad we couldnt bring them to California with us when we moved! We had pretty non-conventional schedules and they were very accommodating when we would sometimes make requests at the last minute. Occasionally we would run into the walkers out and about while we were walking our dog and she would go NUTS saying hi to them, she loved them so much. We always enjoyed whatever photos Richard would send to us, as he has a real knack for catching her with some funny faces or looking very regal. BTT is a really nice, local company thats lovely to work with and we wish them the very best. Thanks Nelli and team BTT!

Theyre simply the best! Theyre really reliable, flexible and send multiple updates through the day - the pictures of our happy pup make our day! They are really communicative and help out with any training as directed (and also give great advice.. a gentle leader was life changing). Our walker PJ sends the funniest texts and keeps our puppy happy throughout the day :) dont know what we would do without them.

Frank has been walking him for a year and a half and is so attentive to Ziggys needs (aka fear of motorcycles and bigger dogs, at times). Every time I see Frank, hes always so quick to say hello and give me an update on Ziggy, even when I see him on the street on his way home. The updates on the walks are awesome and are a total highlight of my day when they come in.The business is a very professional operation with a personal feel to it. We only have the most positive things to say about he BTT team. Nelli manages her business in a very organized and professional manner, making the scheduling of walks and over night stays a breeze. Their staff of amazing walkers is responsive, responsible and great with our three year old English Bulldog. They take him to the park every day, ensuring he is safe and well taken care of. They also send us the most adorable pictures and timely updates to brighten our work days. And for petsitting / overnight- Luis is just a dream. He takes care of our dog like hes his own. Quite frankly, our dog brightens with excitement whenever we say the word Luis. We know that our dog is in great hands whenever he is with anyone from BTT.

We have had a wonderful experience with BTT. Our shy little puggle can be kind of a challenge. Shes terrified of things that pose no actual threat to her (like rain) but is completely fearless when it comes to real danger (like oncoming traffic). The BTT team was very patient with us and kept us updated on how she was doing on her walks. She since made new doggie and human friends and looks forward to her walks!

I was leaving town for a few days during the holidays and did not know what to do with my little guy - hes just way too young to considering boarding or letting him fend for himself with an automatic feeder, etc. SO I did some research and came across Brooklyn Tails and Trails - and I am so so happy that I did! Nelli made me feel completely at ease when she came to pick up the keys, so I began to relax a little and trust that Ewok was going to be in good hands.However, on the day we were to leave I was still very anxious and concerned about our kitten...but I really didnt need to be! Nelli was so wonderful, and spent time to coax our scared kitten out of hiding to play and socialize, and she updated me with pictures every single time she visited so that I would know that Ewok was getting along okay. By the end of our trip, Nelli and Ewok were the best of friends and I was completely sold on Brooklyn Tail and Trails! They are very caring and considerate about keeping owners updated and in the loop about the well-being of their pets.Another thing I should mention - she even cleaned up around the litter box (Ewok lovesss to play in his litter box haha) and took out the trash before we got home, which was definitely not part of the job description! They go above and beyond in their services, which is so very rare these days.Next time I go out of town I will not be at all nervous about the well-being of my fur-baby - I know Ewok will be excited to see his old friend Nelli again!

5-stars for this local, female-owned small business! $19 for a 30-minute cat check-in, which includes feeding, changing litter, interaction and play, and real-time pics and updates, is well-priced and worth it. Ive been in contact with Nelli and Erwin, who are very responsive and professional. I highly recommend BK Tails & Trails.

My dog has been walking with Bella for about 6 months now and we couldnt be happier with her as well as the admin staff. I was worried after moving away from our old neighborhood (and walker) because I thought my dog would struggle to adapt to someone new, but the transition was super smooth. We get pictures and updates every day and they have always been amenable to schedule changes and vacations. Most importantly, I feel that my dog is in safe hands and always happy and tired upon returning! :)

Brooklyn Tails & Trails is an amazing dog walking service. We used them while we lived in Brooklyn and we could not have been happier with the service we received - we never had to worry about someone showing up to walk our dog each day and if there was ever a substitute walker they told us days in advance. And our walker Cristal was wonderful, we felt like she loved our Stella as much as us. I cannot recommend BTT enough!

Nelli and the team at BK Tails & Trails are simply amazing! Such professionals and they are true animal lovers! I used their for dog walking services for over two years (only stopped because I moved out of Brooklyn) and I can honestly say—don’t waste your time looking into other walkers or companies, BKTT is the best and I’d use them again in a heartbeat! My dog is now 7 years old and I’ve had her in Boston, NYC and Brooklyn, so I’ve experienced the full gamut of dog walking companies and walkers. Nelli is the owner and she is beyond wonderful, professional, dependable, a pleasure to work with, and just truly cares about animals. She makes the whole process so easy from a logistical perspective. Honest and transparent with pricing, super easy monthly invoicing process, seamless and simple process for scheduling walks. Richard was my primary walker and he was the greatest!! Such a nice guy and SO good with my dog. Whatever Nelli does to screen and train her walkers is working because they are all awesome!!! I’ve had some bad experiences with walking companies I either didn’t love or couldn’t fully trust, but never had a single issue with BKTT. They put on her jacket and paw protectors when it snows, send daily photos and walk details, always on time, towel dry her off when it’s wet out…they even helped me out various times when I was in a bind, doing last-minute evening walks when I was stuck at work and feeding her, turning on lights, etc. Nelli has even jumped in to help herself at times even though she is the owner. THANK YOU Nelli and Richard! You guys are the best!

I have never had more faith in a dog walker than I did with bktailsandtrails. My dog has severe anxiety and with the help of Sylvia, our walker, we have a dog who no longer uses the bathroom due to anxiety in our apartment and she is also only on one medication now. Their love and support really helped our family. Furthermore, they never left anything undone and by that I mean they always left our home in the exact way they found it. They send multiple photos on every walk and always send updates to let you know our pups are with us even when at work (: Bk tails and trails is a very reliable company and I would recommend them to anyone! I never had to ask twice If I needed a favor or something changed in our routine. They made my pup one happy girl!

We have been using Brooklyn Tails & Trails since we moved to Downtown Brooklyn almost a year ago and could not be happier with them!!! Seriously, stop reading and just hire them! Vinny is our walker and he is so sweet and kind to our stubborn - sometimes cranky - and very quirky senior rescue tripod poodle, Buddy. Buddy has totally come out of his shell and Im sure that his pack walks and adventures with Vinny have something to do with that. The pics and videos that we get during every walk brighten up our work day so much. Nelli the owner has been wonderful to work with - always friendly, responsive and scheduling is a total breeze. Communication over WhatsApp is super convenient and easy. Additionally, we love supporting a local, female-owned small business!

While Ive never created a google review before, Brooklyn Tails & Trails warrants a stellar writeup. I knew from the first email in which Nelli called our dog a sweet boy (exactly how we refer to Brody) to her poochas gracias sign-off, that itd be a great match. Its always a little bit nerve-wracking letting someone new into your home and handing over the leash so to speak. Nelli made us feel completely at ease the moment we met her, answering all of our questions and showing Brody the love and attention we always do. If you cant already tell, were absolutely crazy for our dog, and its so great to feel that Frank and Nelli adore him as well. Our texts from Frank with adorable photos and captions are the best part of the workday. If its raining Frank always makes sure to towel Brody off when they get back. When the pup has his rare accidents, Frank always is helpful and cleans it up. We really appreciate how response and organized they are, and that theyre right here in the neighborhood should something last minute come up. We cant speak highly enough of Brooklyn Tails & Trails, and know that little Brody feels the same.
