Where do I begin with Prospect Bark and how incredibly amazing they are. Staff: the owner of Prospect Bark and her team are beyond the best. They love all of the dogs as if they were their own. They provide individual time, attention and love to every dog. They are so attentive from managing diets and allergies and any medicine to play time, etc. they send us videos and photos all day that are just the best. Environment: I would like to stay for a day at Prospect Bark it is so calming and relaxing. They have high ceilings, calming music, clean - very clear they are constantly cleaning because it smells lovely - and they have beds and toys for all dog sizes - including heated blankets in their front window during the winter and a big play space and pools in their yard. Boarding: our dog loves boarding at Prospect Bark. Their lower level is a combo of Murphy beds for free sleeping dogs and crates for dogs who need crate sleeping. They have staff who sat over with the dogs which is just the best. Care: everything from little personal hand-drawn pics of the dogs on the walls to “pupsicles” in the summer to Thanksgiving dinner and a holiday photo shoot, Prospect Bark is beyond like family to us and our dog. We love them and everything they do and have recommended them to many. They are exceptional! Beyond highly recommend!!

Best doggie daycare, boarding, sitting and walking in Brooklyn! My wife and I have been using ProspectBArk! since our dog (now 8 years) was 3 months old. Weve done daily walking (for several years before covid), in-home sitting, daycare while we moved, and most recently an 8-day staycation at their daycare/boarding facility while we were in Japan. They have never let us down and always do an amazing job – really setting our minds at ease when we have to be away from our sweet doggie. They provide plenty of photo updates, respond quickly, and the facility is absolutely top notch. Clean, comfortable, and run by people who truly love animals.

From the early days of the business when they walkedour bulldog puppy to the their sensitive and meticulous care for her late in life - this team loves animals and makes it their mission to provide amazing services. We now have two new puppies and two cats. ProspectBARK provide excellent in home and day care services for all of our animals. They are like family to us and our animals and always exhibit professional excellence. Creative (draw up dog days!) unique (summertime frozen treats) and deeply kind - our animals are in the very best hands with this wonderful team!

ProspectBark is an incredible dog daycare. The staff is caring and competent. My wife and I leave our little baby Granger in their hands and know he’ll be loved and taken care of. I could not highly rec this business more. The staff is really wonderful. One specific highlight is the staff’s constant communication via photos and video which helps my wife and I feel even more comfortable when we are away knowing our precious baby is in living hands.

I have used ProspectBArks cat sitting service since 2016 whenever we go away on vacation or business trips and Ive had nothing but excellent experiences! The sitters are trustworthy, kind, professional, and passionate about caring for my two cats, Poppy and Bandit. And, on top of this great care, we also get lots of cute photos and videos of the cats while were on vacation. In particular, I want to shout out Jennifer Bernstein, our sitter of several years, for her incredible and attentive care. Our cats love her!

ProspectBArk goes above and beyond for pets and their humans! They have been kitty sitting for us for years when we go on vacation, and we have only ever had positive experiences. Sitters are always professional, communicative, and provide lots of updates and pictures. Our cat, Frasier, was recently diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, so we were nervous about leaving him alone when we had to go out of town. When we entered new care instructions into the portal, the owner was kind enough to call and collaborate on a special care plan for him. She even delivered a cat water fountain to our home to make sure Frasier didnt get dehydrated! We were so touched by the kindness and our sitter, Doug, was clearly mindful of our anxiety and made sure to give us the best updates. We feel really lucky to have the staff at ProspectBArk in Frasiers corner (and ours!).

My dog is OBSESSED with everyone at Prospect Bark and I can absolutely understand why - the employees are so wonderful and keep you up to date on all of your dogs adventures while youre away. Its worth every penny to know your dog is being so well cared for (seriously - oregano oil in the water to help with digestion, my little guy was sunning himself on a heated faux fur blanket...its luxury for your pup). Also the best part - the employees actually sleep WITH your dog on overnights, so if you have a needy little guy like I do youll be thrilled to know he doesnt have to spend a second alone while youre away. Highly, highly recommend!

ProspectBark has been a home for my Poppy Seed since he was of age to get out and experience the doggy world! Chun, Tina & the rest of the team have been absolutely amazing with my pet and from what I see with other pets as well! Every pet is individually cared for and supervised collectively. I have used ProspectBark countless times for daycare & overnight boarding (now called 24- Hour Staycation.) We are so excited to hop into the new location! ProspectBArk! saved me and my cats, Mila and Bodhi! I was going out of town for a wedding and the person Id arranged to cat/house sit informed me a few days in that she couldnt do it anymore. I was far away and my cats were abandoned. I called up ProspectBark and they immediately went to my place to check on the cats. They took amazing care of them for the duration of my trip. Everyday Id get photos and videos from Ana who managed to have immediate rapport with this shy pair. Shed send videos of them playing and eating treats along with daily shots of clean litter, full water fountain, wet food and dry food. And all of this for a very reasonable price. I wont hesitate to call them again. Thank you ProspectBArk!

Whether he is stopping by or cat sitting for extended trips, I know my cat is well taken care of. Tiki is not easy, but Ben has won him over and I couldn’t be more grateful. Ben is amazing with our pup on his afternoon walks and sends pictures and updates every time! We have been using Prospect Bark for years and I have never been happier with a pet sitting service. Aside from being extremely organized, they go the extra mile to make sure you always know what your pet is up to when they visit. We have a cat and he LOVES the sitters so much, and when we are away they come 2x a day for 30 minutes each and feed him, play with him, and send us update messages and photos. They are a team of trustworthy, loving, responsible sitters and walkers. If you need a sitting service, you’d be silly to look elsewhere.

The BEST pet sitters!! Weve used Prospect Bark for years, first for regular cat sitting and then for overnight stays as our sweet kitty got older and needed closer care and medication. The cat sitters are nothing less than amazing!! Every stay was like a mini spa vacation for my cat to be pampered and adored. The level of communication (including lots of photos!) and professionalism is exceptional. They make it so easy, working around my schedule for any logistics like keys or meeting a new sitter. And they are always available, even for major holidays. This is a woman-owned business and the owner is so engaged, caring, and community minded. Seriously, everything about this company is awesome and your pets will love them, too.

Our pup is obsessed with Chun-Soon and this daycare! He has many, many behavioral issues (and is 70 lbs, so people dont just think its cute!), and her team has been the most responsive, patient, wonderful daycare providers we could ask for. We also love that they sleep with the dogs when boarding overnight - given our pups severe separation anxiety, it was incredibly helpful! After the pandemic did a number on our pup (separation issues, people reactivity, some dog reactivity), my partner and I thought wed never have our lives back. This daycare (+ regular training with an unrelated trainer) has turned him into such a great version of himself. Thanks ProspectBark, so glad the new location opened!(Also the new location is GORGEOUS and huge and has an outdoor space! Wins all around.)

Our dog had an illness at one point and they called us immediately, recommended different foods and solutions etc and helped take care of him until we could get home from work. Sancho always has the best time playing with his friends at daycare or sleeping over while we’re away for the weekend. The team is great about keeping us updated throughout his time so we can see how he’s doing. His first overnight was a 5 night stay and we were nervous, but he loved every minute. They are communicative and oh so patient and available.I’ve had three different walkers, each with their own special qualities. Miró feels safe with all three. Currently Miró’s walker is Ashley and she’s great.What I love about Prospect BArk is the peace of mind. They make sure a walker is always available when you’ve scheduled a walk or stay. They have a super easy portal to use. Through WhatsApp you are always in touch with your walker and a super sweet administrator. You get pictures and text updates.My dog and I love this place, you can’t go wrong!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about ProspectBark. We started using them 2.5 years ago and it’s been nothing but a great experience. We were very concerned about our dog’s wellbeing and the team here totally put us as ease. First, you always have the same primary and backup walker, so there’s never a concern of a stranger coming in. You’re also able to meet these people beforehand. Second, you’re able to leave detailed instructions re: your dog’s care (for example, please put in booties and give a treat after the walk). Third, you get daily updates after the pup’s walk with a picture and how they did. Fourth, our walker Jackson was literally, the best! Very friendly, always followed our instructions, even polite enough to take his shoes off when he came into our apartment! Lastly, the portal to sign up and cancel walks, process payments etc is super easy! ProspectBark is truly a professional, trustworthy organization.

ProspectBArk! is absolutely the best pet sitters/dog walkers/cat lovers I have ever come in contact with. They go above and beyond, and truly treat pets like family. I have used them for years and am able to rest assured that when I am away, they are taking the best care of my furbaby. I receive detailed notes on the visit, as well as numerous pictures of my kitty. On a personal note, an injured dog was abandoned outside of my apartment building, and not knowing who else to turn to I reached out to ProspectBArk!, and one of the owners immediately responded and came over to help transport the dog to the vet; they also asked their animal community to assist in raising funds for the dogs hospital bills. They are amazing animal loving people. I would highly recommend them!!

From the first moment we emailed them to inquire about dog-walking services, they were responsive, organized, and committed to taking superb care of our dog. Our dogs walker, Beth, was compassionate, always prompt and present, took the time to get to know our dog (who can be a little anxious at first), sent us messages and pictures after every walk, and responded to all of our messages about any thoughts that came up for our dog that day. We felt completely at ease knowing that Beth was coming from ProspectBark to take care of our dog and had such an easy and pleasurable experience dealing with the admins. Very highly recommend!!

ProspectBark has walked and looked after our Pembroke Welsh Corgi for the past five years and we couldnt be happier with their services! They have always been very accommodating when it comes to scheduling a walk at the last minute, and the walkers they have assigned to us have always been timely, friendly, and responsible people that we feel good about leaving our dog with.The online patient portal system that they have set up works great and makes it very easy to schedule and pay for walks or visits with your pet. And if we ever had any issues whatsoever, the team was always very quick to respond to our inquiries. We even locked ourselves out of our apartment last week and they were able to get spare keys to us a few minutes later!During COVID weve also been very impressed with the way their staff handled safe practices by always wearing masks and conducting themselves in a way that minimized direct contact with us and our apartment.In a nutshell, Prospect Bark is full of reliable, responsible, and friendly people that you can trust to take good care of your furry family members!

This is a review for their newer doggy daycare on 5th Ave and 16th street. Everything works through an app, including booking and communication. My dog loves it here and they take such good care of him! They even have the pups Turkey and pumpkin on thanksgiving. Laurel at ProspectBark is the most amazing walker Ive ever experienced. She has such a love for animals and it really shows in the care she gives. My Yorkie Poo can be difficult and has some behavior issues but it never made Laurel weary. She knew exactly how to handle Lucys anxiety and territorial nature. She always sent pictures and often spent some time giving Lucy belly rubs. I love the easy to use portal where you can schedule walks and request services -- it makes working with the ProspectBark team a breeze.

They are perfect professionals: they are responsive and so helpful when accommodating any last minute requests, theyre systems are easy to use and make scheduling shifts and payments easy, they always make sure you know which walker is visiting your pup each day and the walkers themselves are the sweetest, most responsible people that develop real relationships with your pup! I get pictures of my smiling pooch every day and his walkers - Michaela and Zach - always add a little quip or comment that makes me laugh. Theyve walking her with 100% reliability, even in the face of my last-minute requests, and cared for her exquisitely when I am out of town. They are a perfect dog-walking company. I must also thank our current walker Christina (do request her by name), who took care of the dogs this past weekend and, as there was a break in the pipes, cleaned up after the plumbers and left the place sparkling clean. If you are looking for a trustworthy and reliable company to take care of your pet, ProspectBArk is the place for you. We have been extremely happy with the service, from the first meet and greet to the communication from the walkers and management. Dede started walking Maya and when she was no longer available Colleen took over. Both ladies were wonderful. I felt so comfortable with them handling Maya, they gave her lots of love and sent us text updates and pictures after each walk. We have a Canary (wifi camera) in our home, so I can confidently say that they did an amazing job with Maya. I had concerns with Maya at first having someone new take care of her, but they made the transition to hiring a dog walker so great. If there was a change of walkers or anything we needed to know about we received a text or email. Also, if there is a snow storm or holiday they communicate really well with the customers to give a heads up if they need to cancel appointments so their is no late charge. The portal they use is easy to book and cancel walks as needed.Unfortunately, we are moving out of Brooklyn. I know Maya will miss her daily walks with the ProspectBArk team. Thank you all so much!!

ProspectBark and specifically the RiversideBark team on the UWS (Taryn and Krystal) have been caring for my puppy for 6 months. In that time Ive seen them treat my puppy like their own with extreme care, attention and love. Theyve worked very closely with us on our specific needs regarding our puppys training schedule and separation anxiety and are always very conscious of any specific requests we have. We love the amazing photos that we receive of our pup after each walk along with a detailed update about the walk. It makes our day to see how happy our puppy is with the RiversideBark team when we are at work. We have been using prospect bark since 2016 to take care of our cats any time we go on vacation or need to go out of town. I particularly like that I am able to easily schedule cat sitting visits online at any time of day. Our trips are often short notice and they are almost always able to accommodate last minute requests we make that are a day or two before our departure, even during peak holiday times. The sitters always send us several pictures of our cats during their visit via WhatsApp so we can check in wherever we are in the world. Our cats are always happy and healthy when we get home. They even bring in our packages! We have never had an issue with them in 4 years, I trust them fully and can’t recommend them enough.

Wish I could give ProspectBark more than 5 stars! They are absolutely the best! Our dog Lola absolutely loves coming here for daycare and overnights. You can tell how much the staff truly cares about all of the dogs that come here. We get the cutest photos and videos throughout the day (they send so many throughout the day, and you can tell how much fun all of the dogs are having) so we never have to wonder how she is doing & they always make us smile. They set up pools for the dogs during the Summer, organize different activities, and make healthy treats for the dogs too. The space is also extremely clean! This is truly such an incredible place and we always trust them to watch our dog Lola - she really has a BLAST here! I cant recommend ProspectBark enough!

Having a dog in the city isnt easy, and having a large, energetic dog can be even harder. ProspectBArk! made caring for our Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy so much less stressful and put our minds at ease when we had to be away. Ben, our walker, is extremely reliable and came to take out our pup twice a day. She has had quite a few medical needs in her young life and Ben was always mindful of those. He sent text updates each and every time he took her out, put her coat on in the winter months, and wiped her paws on rainy days. He brought her a fun toy on her birthday and in the 15 months that weve had our pup, Ben has only taken one vacation! Once Ben even picked up our girl from a Rover stay because we were stuck in traffic and were running about an hour late for pick-up. The Rover person watching our pup would not receive a great review from me, but I will sing Bens praises as well as ProspectBArks any day of the week!

This is an AMAZING company and group of animal caretakers. We have been with PB for 4 years and have always felt safe and secure having their caretakers caring for our pets with daily visits as well as staying in our home. We have 2 cats and 2 dogs and their staff treat each and everyone like their own. In particular, one of our dogs has undergone a few illnesses that included crate rest, rehab and special medication and PB was always able to come through on helping to heal our pets back to health.

Im posting this review because I know all too well the difficulties in having a dog in this city. Finding someone reliable to pet-sit for you when you are working overtime is more difficult than youd imagine!Take it from me: you can find some random person looking to make a couple bucks, but if theyre not insured and they dont answer their phone when you need them, they dont keep in touch with you and your dog pees in the house when he has been POTTY TRAINED for over five years.. well, lets just say I tried the guy in my building, then I tried a guy in the neighborhood who has his own business (even a website), both left me worrying on those long days at work.If you go with Prospect Bark, you definitely wont have those weird questionable feelings, because they send you a photo or video of your dog from their walk, along with a nice message about how it went. I call on them whenever Im stuck at work, because I dont want to leave it to chance. You can trust Prospect Bark to be there, but you dont have to - they send you proof!

I have been through a couple dog walking companies (I have had a Jack Russell for 11 years both in Boston and NYC) and LibertyBArk is the absolute best. My walker is Matt Garcia and he is kind, reliable, and professional. Its easy to find walkers (esp in NY) who look at walking dogs as just a way to make money fast, but Matt has a crazy strong work ethic and is one of those rare people who gives 200% to every encounter, whether with a human or dog (Chun-Soon, the owner, as well!) The whole team has my dogs best interest at heart and there have been a few times where they could have easily not accommodated my last-minute request or charged me a full rate, and they didnt (i.e., my dog is walked with another in the afternoons so the rate is $15, but I know there have been times they could have charged $22 for a solo walk because the other dog was gone and they didnt.)The other perk that I appreciate is the client portal where you can view your invoice and make walk requests at any time. Honesty if I had all the money in the world, I would never walk my dog (haha!) and have walks scheduled 3x a day but they are so patient with my last-minute requests as I try to juggle my life, bank account and dog all by myself!! Ive never sent them a message on WhatsApp that wasnt addressed within the hour.Also have to mention, anytime my dog has had an accident in the house while Im at work, Matt notices it and fixes it without pause. He says its in his job description, but Ive never expected that and it speaks to his character.They are also very thoughtful in reminding clients prior to a holiday to cancel the walk if they will be home/dont want to be charged the holiday rate.And LASTLY, your walker will always send you a bunch of photos from the walk with a little summary of what happened (its never, He peed a bunch and pooped once, there are always valuable little details added.)

We loved the place and our dog did as well.She was always excited to go and would basically pull us across the street to get there. Best of all, she was always pooped for the next 12 or so hours so we know she had a great time. We have used Prospect Bark for our dog for 11+ years. They have been such a life saver for us. Our dog can get triggered easily by loud noises or other dogs and our walkers have always expertly handled any situation that arose. More so, the walkers and managers are flexible with our schedule and always communicative, proactive, courteous, and extremely responsible. But, the ultimate proof comes when we are with our dog and run into one of our walkers on the street - our dog reacts as though she’s seeing a family member: wagging tail, excited face, and begs for belly rubs. I have been a Prospect Bark client since 2009 and have been incredibly happy with their services. PB sitters have cared for two of my cats - one of which was definitely a tough customer! Theyve handled changes of plans, medical emergencies, and many other dramas with professionalism and compassion. Every time we left for a trip, I knew my cats were in good hands. On occasions when we had to extend our trip due to missed flights, theyve always covered the extra time without any problems. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
