My dog kiwi loves it here! When I leave town and can’t take my dog with me I always l board her at opie’s. They take such good care of kiwi I’m never anxious leaving her there, even though I miss her a ton. They always update me with photos and videos. When i tell her that she is going to daycare her tail wags like crazy.

Hands down the best daycare, boarding, training and grooming facility in Brooklyn. I drive my pup over from Cobble Hill to board here whenever I leave town. The staff is incredibly caring, attentive, responsible and you can tell they truly love the dogs. They’re careful to screen and socialize your dog before accepting them which makes me feel reassured that all the dogs there are well socialized. I love that someone sleeps there with the dogs overnight. Love these folks!

Our dog looovees Opie’s. As soon as we get to Greene Ave he starts pulling and gets so excited. Both Stephanie and her staff are lovely and truly care about their dogs. Couldn’t recommend grooming more highly too. I’d trust them with our pup anytime!

I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to go to Opie’s Outpost with my puppy. They are so friendly and accommodating. I messed up the booking and didn’t book a cut (be careful to book the correct service) and they found a way to accommodate me even though I was the one who messed up.They have a doggy daycare so they don’t keep the pups in cages when they are waiting before and after grooming. My little guy was a little nervous about the daycare and the owner let him hang with her and her small dogs out front.Great cut, lovely clean space and just the nicest folks. Will definitely be back.

I rescued Charlie from a homeless person in Union Square Park park. In order to get him away from his abusive owner I had to buy him. This dog had been used and abused day in and day out for his entire life. His head bore the scars and emotionally he was broken. Thankfully, I met Taylor. He took him into his house and not only emotionally rehabilitated Charlie, but he fell in love. Charlie, under Taylor’s guidance became emotionally stable. He ended up living out his whole life with Taylor, who loved him like no other. This was 2010. Taylor continues to help the animals and dogs like Charlie, who had everything stacked against them. Thank you Taylor. I will forever be grateful for everything you did for him, for me. We are friends till the end. Sloane (Zion’s Mission)

Like many others, we had to wait for over 5 hours for a groom - as in, I brought my dog in at 2 and he was not released until 7 because they had several other dogs before him. I live 15 minutes away so I could have picked him up and come back later. After multiple check ins, we were still told he would be ready much later than anticipated. However, I am giving them 4 stars because not only did they apologize, they comped the groom. The woman who was working the front understood why we were upset and tried to make right. I appreciated that and would be up for trying again. Sometimes things don’t work out, but the customer service in this instance made me feel good about giving them another shot.

Such an incredible grooming experience, I have a very anxious pup who was so comfortable and happy when she was finished up. They did an incredible job with grooming her and handling her, could not recommend enough!!

I brought my dog here for grooming for the first time, and it was a great experience!! It takes him a while to warm up to new people and places and the groomer was great with him, sitting and giving him treats before bringing him back, which I really appreciated. His cut is perfect, and all the employees were really kind and helpful. He had a lot of fun playing with the other dogs after even though hes usually an anxious little guy! I will definitely be bringing him back here for grooming and daycare/ boarding when I need it. Thank you guys so much!

I’ve been bringing my dog to Opie’s for over a year for daycare, grooming, and boarding and they are just amazing here! My pup has pretty bad separation anxiety and Opie’s has helped him (and me!) so much. Stephanie and the staff are so great and caring and I know that Charlie gets a lot of love when I leave him at Opie’s. Highly recommend!

We board our family dog here often and it is an amazing experience. The owner and staff are beyond incredible. They are attentive, caring, and very compassionate. If you want a safe and caring place for your dog or cat, definitely check Opies out! Thank you for always being so great!

Just moved to the neighborhood and happened upon Opies while taking my dog for a stroll. It was easy to make a grooming appointment and my pooch looks great now! I will definitely bring her back...the staff was great too!!

I have left my little pup here several times both for day boarding and overnight and she loves the people at Opies! She gets excited when we walk by and always wants to come inside. Highly recommended!

Im always a little nervous when I take my dog to a new groomer. Shes a super anxious pup. I gave Opies a try today since they are right around the corner from me and Im glad I did. Love the cute summer cut they gave my floofy havanese. Everyone was super nice and they obviously love dogs. So happy they are in the neighborhood now :)

We use Opies for daycare & walks and our dog loooooves it. She cant wait to get to daycare and runs to the back right when we arrive (daycare days are her favorite time of the week). They have an outdoor space for the pups to play as well which is an added bonus. The staff is great and I know our pup is well cared for there!

Stephanie takes care of my dog, Moose, like her own. He’s a very nervous rescue and I am incredibly picky about who I leave him with but I’m confident that when he’s at Opie’s he’s in good hands!! He pulls me towards the door every time we walk by and always comes home happy and tuckered out, so that’s 5 stars from Moose too :)

They’re always so sweet to my dog! They do a great job trimming her nails n such. If the vanderbilts had a dog groomer/boarding house at the breakers, I would hope it would look something like Opie’s

Best place in BK to bring my 3 dogs. We live nearby and they actually sprint towards Opie’s when we walk towards that direction. They are so happy to go and the staff is incredible

The staff is amazing! I’ve been bringing Max to Opie’s for months now and he loves it! My favorite part about picking him up is that he always smells amazing! That shows me how much they care. I’m happy this doggy daycare opened up in our community.

Hands down one of the best places you can take your pup in BK. Stephanie, Taylor and their team at Opies are incredibly friendly, professional and considerate. Good with both dogs and people! They’ve done a great job decorating the space to function as both an inviting retail shop and cozy daycare/boarding spot, with ample crates and soft couches for all types of lounging. And they have a backyard! Their app makes booking and communication easy and stress free. Thanks, Opies, for taking care of our beloved old man, Sherman.
