    Really happy with my cat’s haircut! Everything went so smooth. My cat was calm during this process. The groomer did such a great job. Very detailed, beautiful blend. I also really appreciated how they are true animal lovers. The wife was showing me photos of their own cats. 😻5 ⭐️!

    Great husband and wife team. They work well together and the owner always call me to confirm my appointment next day. Book ahead and pay cash.We been here about 6times now and everytime my dog has a good cute. The cuts can change a little sometime. Make sure to show her your favorite and they will stay with that everytime.Inside is small and I suggest you book Thursday or Friday. They seems to be less busy on a weekday and the cut is usually 4 hours to pick up.Crate only I think. My dog is chill in crate so I don’t mind and prefer.

    If I could give this establishment 1000 stars I would. My Shih Tzu hasn’t been groomed by a stranger and has been a stay at home dog for about 3 years due to the pandemic so he barks and even attempts to bite strangers if he senses danger. Yet, the lovely lady and her husband took on the task to groom my dog and went above and beyond so that I would leave satisfied despite his terrible behavior. I am very thankful and would recommend any and everyone to them. Your pet will be in the best of hands. Not to mention the amazing perfume they touched him up with and the adorable bandana. I’m in love , work was amazing.

    It was my dogs first time here for a groom yesterday and he and I loved it! I have a 10 pound Maltese, who is a little shy and he looked so good after he came out. Absolutely 0 complains and they gave him a little neck scarf when he was done which looked adorable. He also tends to get goopy eyes as many Malteses do, and she removed the delicate eye hair perfectly. Definitely our new neighborhood groomers! Highly recommend. I also love that they have an extra security gate before the entry to the building just in case a dog squeezes out he’s still in a completely fenced area.

    Not many places in Brooklyn will accommodate a large dog, but this place greeted us with open arms. They did an amazing job, and now my buddy can enjoy the summer.

    My first visit to Best Friends Grooming with my Giant Schnauzer puppy! The owners were amazing, they knew the breed, which was a huge win, and they were very considerate of my questions. They spent time talking with me, and the puppy looked fantastic after! They truly care about dogs! Thank you!!!

    To Victoria Vashchuk:Dear Victoria!I also have a cat. As you know, Persian cats are not easy to care for. If the cat is calm, it usually takes about an hour to wash, brush and groom. As a rule, a cat should be given breaks to avoid stress. Sergey has been grooming my cat for many years and also goes on a smoke break. I see nothing wrong with this. Was this the first haircut for your pet? Each animal has its own personality. You indicated that your cat is bad with strangers, can this be the problem? I did not notice any bad atmosphere in the Best friend grooming. Sergey and Nella are always very friendly and professional in their field.Highly recommend this place⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    I have taken my pomeranian to about 4 different groomers, and this business has always given him the best cut. I moved out of this neighborhood and am devastated because we live too far to bring him back. Her haircuts were so good that Im contemplating driving the hour to bring my pup back there as the groomers in my new area dont even do half the job she does. The owner is also very sweet, and you can tell she takes pride in her work.

    We were looking for a new groomer and were lucky to find this place. The groomer had such a warm and calm demeanor, she also managed to get a summer (short) cut for both of our dogs even though one of them is a true drama queen and doesnt like his paws to be touched. We also appreciate that they are actually checking the status of vaccinations - it keeps our furry friends safe and gives us peace of mind. Thank you! We are very satisfied and will be definitely returning 😊!!!

    I’ve been using “Best Friend Grooming “ service for years. Serge and Nella are more then professional groomers ! They are perfectionists!I have had toy poodle and standard poodles over the years and trust only them to groom my dogs . Expect attention to every detail ! Not only that they perform superior job on grooming ( standard poodles require lots of proper drying and hair combing ) but they pay attention to eyes , ears and even teeth ! I come every 3 weeks from northern New Jersey to groom my standard poodle for one simple reason - service , proper grooming and attention to your dog is superior ! Thank you 🙏

    Best Friend Grooming is the best grooming salon. My puppy loves them and I love the service they give. I was just at their place today and they gave my yorkie a very beautiful haircut. I love it! Nela and Sergey are wonderful people. They gave me lots of advice about shots since I just got my puppy 2 weeks ago and don’t have much knowledge. Nela and Sergey also love animals so much and that is great because my puppy feels happy and safe.     We have been bringing our blind, one-eyed pekingese mix here for the past year or two, and we love this place. Nela and Sergey are great. You can tell they love what they do and genuinely care about our pet.

    We have been coming here for over 2 years. Hands-down, they are the best groomers in New York!!! They always remember what kind of cut we prefer, and because my dog barks when left alone they always make sure hes the first appointment of the day so he is in and out relatively quickly. They are also just really kind people!

    I would highly recommend Best Friend grooming salon to anyone who wants their little friends to look gorgeous and be in professional and caring hands. I know Nela and Sergey for 15+ years. This is my second dog who I bring to their salon. After grooming, my dog gets hundreds of compliments and dog owners ask who does such an amazing job. Nela always listens to how you want your dog to be groomed and gives advice when needed. This is a stress free place for the dogs and their owners. My dog is always treated with lot of love.     I have been going to this dog grooming salon for many years. Nela and Sergey are absolutely amazing! My two dogs fell in love with them.     I must admit, after many trails and many places we couldn’t be luckier to find - Best Friend Grooming !!!Our dog Ellie would get ‏neurological seizures during her grooming. it was so hard, difficult and heartbreaking for everyone to go through that process with her ..... till one day, I was referred by acquaintance to this please . They welcomed Ellie with love, care and patience, despite of their busy schedule. Their attentiveness to Ellie and her needs totally got rid of seizures. It has been 6 years from that first lucky day with Best Friend Grooming and sure God wills many more to come.     Love this place. My sis in law recommends me to come here for her cat that needs grooming since the cat is regular here. I can see the passion they have for all the pets. The price for nails, bath and shaving is only $60, same price before the pandemic. The owners are very nice and friendly. They only take cash.

    The only place I trust taking my dog to! I have never experienced anything like what other reviewers were talking about! I always picked up my dog scratch/cut free. Never had any sort of problems like what other reviews mentioned. This business is run by a family and they really took care of my dog as if it’s their own. They groomed my dog perfectly to my liking and they have exceeded my expectation. Will forever trust and be going back here! Thank you Nella and Serega!!

    I wish i would have taken pictures of my super cute Yorkie Sammy right after his haircut. I have taken him to a few places before I moved to the area and was hoping I would find a good place near us. This grooming salon is one of the best ive seen. Not only were they nice and sweet with me, and also accommodating, but Sammy never looked better! They are professional and very kind. So glad I found them and cant wait to take him here again.     Best Friend Grooming is ABSOLUTELY the BEST!!!! We’ve known Nela for over 18 years. We used to take our first family dog “Lyla” until she crossed the rainbow about 6 years ago. We finally made the decision to get another fur baby “Luna” and immediately thought of Nela and her wonderful services. I was beyond happy to find out that she was still working at the same location. I was able to get an appointment the same day I called. She was still very sweet as I remember her being. She asked me what I wanted and due to Covid, this was her first time getting a professional cut and I wasn’t sure what type of cut would suit my baby. I told her I would leave it up to her and exactly as I expected, my baby looked BEYOND beautiful ❤️!!! Thank you Nela for your love and professionalism throughout the years!     We had a great experience at Best Friend Grooming. Our persian cat (with A LOT of hair that gets easily matted) had a difficult time at the previous groomers who refused to take him anymore because of the aggressive way that he starts to act when he hears the buzzer. We tried few others and nobody was able to get through a grooming session with our cat. Nela and her husband Sergey at Best Friend Grooming were highly recommended and we called her to make an appointment and explained the situation. They were our last chance before we would have to take our cat to be groomed under sedation at the vets. Nela and Sergey were so patient and kind to our cat. They took their time to carefully give him a haircut and allow him breaks to rest so that he doesnt get overwhelmed. They didnt rush and made sure that our cat was wonderfully groomed and felt better. We left so relieved that they as our last chance were able to accomplish what other previous groomers were not and that we didnt need to sedate our cat. It is obvious that they love animals and only want the best for them. We are so grateful to Nela and Sergey at Best Friend Grooming!

    This grooming salon is absolutely AMAZING. Sergey and Nella are highly qualified professionals who groom wonderfully, and at an affordable price. They use top of the market shampoo and conditioner for your pet. Your pets fur will be left smelling great, and will be silky smooth and tangle free for weeks. This is by far the best grooming salon we have been to. Very highly recommended.

    Good grooming ! The guy is a bit intimidating though. I was hesitant to leave by pup there but I had already given in her vacations sheet and she really needed a groom . In the end it was great! My pup smelled delicious

I was recommended to them by my neighbor, who has been and still using their service for years.My dog ​​does not like it when i brush her, not to mention haircuts or bathing.
