Cristina did such a wonderful job with my nervous 7yr old Shiba/Jindo. Cristina is super responsive and made it super easy to schedule an appt. Pick up and drop off was super easy. Let me start this review off with some context. My dog is 15 lbs and impossible to groom anywhere but home as she tries to bite the shears. She mats on her underside and we are unable to take her to any professionals because she would undoubtedly be a liability for them, we’ve been doing her grooming at home with the occasional stressful trip to the vet to do nails.After our vet closed (we miss you Brooklyns Finest!) I was at my wits end because I couldn’t safely cut my dogs nails at home…Not to mention all of the embarrassing haircuts I’ve given her whenever she’d let me get close enough with scissors. I decided to try Christina as a Hail Mary. I figured the environment was less stressful than a regular groomers and just from the website alone Christina looks like a kind and capable pro!We are beyond thankful for Christina’s skills and patience. I will never forget getting a text from Christina during our first appointment where she updated me to say our dog was letter her touch her paws! Greg will always be a bit nervous going into her grooming appointments, but she’s not horrified anymore. Working with Christina has even given Greg a sense of security - she now lets us hold her paws at home!! If you’re debating on if to book just do it - Christina is worth the wait!

Christina is an amazing groomer, shes always kind and patient with my dog Gary, and he always comes back with the perfect haircut. Its really hard to find a groomer you can trust, and she is one of them. Highly recommend!

Finding Cristina was such a game changer for us. We’ve been bathing our Aussie on our own and he was not looking his best, but we struggled to find a great groomer with the right environment to make our pup feel comfortable. Cristina was so sweet and our dog Crosby felt at ease so quickly with her. He also looked incredible— the best he’s ever looked! I immediately went to book another appointment next month because I was so impressed by her skills, but also her communication and friendliness. She has just really made the dog grooming experience special for us and I’m super grateful to have found her.

Cristina grooming services are impeccable! I’ve never seen my 16 year old boy (kitty) have a natural draw and display such comfort with anyone. I consider myself lucky being referred to Cristina from our local pet store Trixies on Flatbush. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Cristina, and if my pups could talk I know they would agree with me. The booking process was easy, as was communicating with Cristina about my particular preferences regarding the type of cut I wanted for my Havanese girls. She accommodated both my doggies on a Saturday morning, and they both look so cute!! She took great care with every part of the body, tail, head, paws, I am sure it’s not easy to do. She listened to all of my requests and did an amazing job. Their mouth is clean and their breath smells fresh. My doggies loved the experience, they felt peaceful and relaxed when I arrived to pick them up. They feel and smell fantastic. They still look great weeks later and we will be back many times! Thank you Cristina for taking such great care of my pups!!! 🐾

Brought our terrier mix Benji in for a summer cut, and Cristina did a fantastic job!We adopted Benji a few months ago, and he’s still a bit nervous around strangers. Cristina was so warm and patient, taking time to make sure Benji wasn’t overwhelmed. He came out looking fresh and with happy puppy energy!We’ll definitely be going back, and I would recommend Cristina to any dog parents in the neighborhood.

Ginger is normally very shy with people but by the end of the session I was surprised to see that she had grown quite comfortable with Cristina in just a short time. Lovely haircut on my little shih tzu. He usually jumps into my arms ready to leave after a grooming but he didn’t want to leave Christina! He kept playing with her and tried to go back inside. You can tell she really loves animals and treats your pet with kindness

Christina is so awesome. She is extremely communicative and gives 100% one-on-one attention to your pet. She goes above and beyond what is normally asked of a groomer to ensure that both the pet and pet owner are left happy and satisfied! I love that all of the grooming takes place in her cozy brownstone and it is only your pet there solo getting direct attention from Christina the whole time. She is very meticulous, careful, and takes her time. Cannot recommend Christinas Dog Club enough!!! Truly a gem if you live in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens/Flatbush area.

Christina is so friendly and we felt very comfortable leaving Loki with her. She took great care to groom him exactly how we asked and even used special shampoo for his sensitive skin. He is an anxious dog and I’m sure it was a challenge but she gave him breaks when needed and he looks so handsome! We really appreciate Christina’s hard work and patience.

We were recommended to Cristinas Dog Club by a local pet supply owner (Trixies, the best!). Our shaggy rescue mutt grows her hair very fast and it quickly overwhelms her, and she seems to really enjoy having a short shave. Cristina did a great job grooming Pepper and did EXACTLY what we asked for, which seems hard to come by in a groomer. She was very sweet with Pepper and did a professional, through job. Well be back!

Ive been really thankful to find Cristinas Dog Club as a way to get reliable and quality grooming services for my dog, especially close to Flatbush. In addition to being really thorough and attentive to my dogs specific grooming needs, Cristina has been really communicative and accomodating in the scheduling/appointment process (one of the biggest challenges Ive found with other dog groomers in Brooklyn is just getting through to make an appointment). After 3 years with my dog, its a wonderful thing to find an easy, accessible, quality, and reasonably priced place close by. Shes also extremely personable and good with my high energy dog, so I am excited to have a good place nearby for dog nail trimming and grooming needs!

Cristina is the bestttt, if you’re looking for an attentive and talented groomer, stop your search. My dog can be a bit jumpy around strangers but immediately loved Cristina. she came out of her grooming appointment looking adorable and is the softest I’ve ever felt her. Cristina paid close attention to my specific requests and texted me updates the whole time. much better than any of the large grooming businesses I’ve been to in the past!! 10/10

Our young mini golden doodle, Jasper, was very hesitant to get a grooming and was not going to let Cristina get near him. With a lot of tenderness and patience (and some cheese!), Cristina got him to warm up to her and then gave him a great grooming. We are quite picky and gave her explicit directions, which she noted and then went above and beyond. Rather than shave him down, she took the time to tease out his mats and sent him home looking and smelling terrific. We are lucky to have Cristina just down the street!

Ours doesnt like other dogs so when we found Cristina was only a bit more than we were already paying but only does one dog at a time, we thought it would be worth trying. Very glad we did! The overall experience was great! I brought the dog to Christina’s dog club explained what kind of hair cut my dog needed and didn’t need to worry about anything else. Christina sent me updated throughout the process which were not necessary but much appreciated and she even gave me a 30 minute heads up before the grooming was complete as was requested by me. Overall an exceptional experience. I’d recommend Christina’s dog club to friends and family and will also be using her again. Oh and the pricing is extremely fair!

I usually groom my dogs myself so letting go of control was a little hard. The last time I brought my dog to a groomer they tired to have me medicate her. Cristina did an amazing job, without medication, in a fraction of the time it takes me, and even more importantly my dog had a great time. She’s now even more in love with Cristina and runs up to her at the park every morning. I highly suggest Cristina for your dog needs.

Cristina has magic with animals.She walks our rowdy 60 lb pit bull when we go out of town. Wagging his tail and approaching Cristina quietly for petting is a rare display of submissiveness on his part. Why won’t my dog obey me the way he obeys her? What is it about Cristina that makes her the only human he doesn’t bark at when she rings the doorbell?When our dog is in her care, Cristina texts us update and cute photos. We always feel confident that the dog is receiving on-time meals, exercise and love.Cristina also takes care of our cat. They have a special bond, those two. Here I feel that the animal is the one subduing the human. She melts for our cat. It’s sweet to see someone who loves him as much as we do.Cristina is mature, warm and responsible. She’s a delight. We like her as much as our pets do. We recommend her wholeheartedly.
