Simply amazing!!! They pulled off an AKC show dog cut for my 6mo Poodle puppy!!! She suffered a terrible autoimmune attack (NOT contagious AT ALL, don’t worry) & lost a lot of skin and hair before she was treated. The vets absolutely butchered her coat treating her wounds. It was a real hack job, but medically necessary. On top of that, we could not groom her at all while she was on immunosuppressants for risk of illness or infection so her hair grew to about 3 inches w/ random shaved spots everywhere. We wanted to treat her with a special fancy haircut for all she’s been through. The groomer transformed her into such a beauty!! They were very kind and personable and even gave a little discount because we were first time customers. They are the best! Will definitely come back. Her fancy cut was priced high(understandably, and it was still a fair price for that cut), but originally our quote for a regular cut and groom was very reasonable! Everyone I’ve spoken to over the phone is very kind and communicative. They really seem to care about their everyone’s furbabies & the satisfaction of their clients.PS - I typically never bother taking the time to write reviews, srsly. But Homedoggy deserves it!

Homedoggy is a great place for daycare, boarding and grooming. My dog pulls me down the street to get inside and always walks in and out of Homedoggy with his tail wagging. The staff is responsive to questions and requests and stays in communication during boarding or daycare. They do an excellent groom and take their time to get it right and make sure the dogs are happy. I highly recommend them.

The daycare is absolutely adorable with all the activities they have, like bubbles and music therapy, perfect when I need to leave my dog somewhere safe in a pinch. My dog hates getting groomed and other groomers couldn’t work with him because he was too wild. Home Doggy was able to give him the most beautiful, precise cut. They cut his nails perfectly, cleaned his ears, and did a gorgeous job with his paws. He also smells fantastic! I could not believe what an amazing job they did. HomeDoggy is the best there is.

Homedoggy has been amazing with my dog - we have done boarding, daycare, and grooming. They are fortunately amenable to walk-ins, which is so important for our chaotic lives, and my dog was very quick to become comfortable with this daycare (she has been to many, and has different adjustment periods). The people are super kind and it is clear my dog loves them. They do a fantastic job with grooming, and their teeth brushing is a huge perk - they get her teeth so clean and really help alleviate her doggy breath. While they are a bit pricey, it is well worth the convenience, quality of service, and peace of mind to know my girl is in good hands!

During the last two years my dog has been getting her grooming done at HomeDoggy in Park Slope on 7th ave. Her haircut always comes out perfect. They give her the full bath treatment with a haircut. She always looks amazing. The staff is wonderful to work with, always friendly and accommodating. I will always take my dog to HomeDoggy. They make it easy.

So thankful I’ve found this place!They take incredible care of my Morkie Maggie and that goes from day care to boarding to grooming to dental cleaning with tartar removal - always a phenomenal job and Maggie comes out so happy.They say disease in dogs can start from the mouth so it was imperative to make sure Maggie’s teeth are in top shape which their tartar removal service absolutely ensures. I couldn’t believe the before and after! I appreciate their process as I don’t have to worry about Maggie or any side effects of the procedure. They answered all questions I had and it’s clear how kind and gentle they are with my girl. Although slightly pricey, it is absolutely worth every penny for the quality of care & service and my own peace of mind :) Big thank you to everyone there at HomeDoggy!

I highly recommend HomeDoggy for your dogs grooming needs. Ive been taking our terrier mix to them for a few years now and they do an excellent job. Homedoggy is such a wonderful place for our Husky Poe. Poe has been coming here for daycare, overnights, and baths since the shop opened. They have been so kind to her when she stays overnight and they do a fabulous job with her groomers bath (the de-shedding treatment has worked really well with her fur). I really appreciate how kind Rodrigo, Santiago, Martha and all the office staff are to our pup. She is in great hands with Homedoggy:)

It was the first time I left my two dogs at homedoggy and I had the best experience. My dogs were very well looked after and played with. The attendant, Raissa, was lovely. She sent me photos and videos all the time and she certainly gave them a lot of love. Because those of us who love our little ones can feel it and this place certainly knows how important our pets are. I recommend it and Im going to leave my dogs there again

I found homedoggy because I was looking for places that does hand stripping at a reasonable price. This was my first time here and honestly I was kind of nervous because this is my first dog and he had never been to a groomer before. Hand stripping is a very long process so I was kind of worried how he was going to react to it. But the staff were so nice and caring and kept me updated on how he was doing. Beto did such an amazing job! Definitely coming back!

Wonderful! We adopted a puppy day after Thanksgiving. He stunk, which was a delight, sort of. But we couldnt leave the hound stench, so we brought him to Home Doggy. We called a few places and were so happy with the response we got over the phone, so we made an appointment. The same person who answered our questions and booked our appointment was at the front desk the next day--Micah! What a wonderful human being.Shortly after arriving, a nice woman took the pup and gave a great bathing and nail clipping. Our dog now smells delicious.This place has fantastic vibes. They also have a nice menu of reasonably priced services. Im happy. I think Moses the dog is happy too.

Our Cavachon was wildly knotted and weeks overdue for a grooming after moving to nyc from California. Most groomers would have just shaved him to save the time and effort it takes to really get him brushed and cleaned - I asked the clerk to pleaseeee not let the groomer shave him no matter what and they listened!! Shocking because most groomers will just ignore you and tell you after that it was the only option. I was a little scared at first because it is a little pricey, however it’s totally worth it. They go above and beyond and treat their pups with the utmost of care :) they even put an adorable little scarf on him after it was so cute

I have a 10 year old Bouvier des Flandres and have not been able to find a competent groomer who could give him the breed cut. I found Rodrigo by pure accident as I was driving and saw 2 of the most beautifully groomed Bouviers and was referred to him. I made an appointment and met with Rodrigo who was very thorough in sharing his knowledge of not only the grooming process, but the care of animals who undergo grooming. He was so lovely to my guy that on pick up he mentioned that he gave him a break because he became stressed and that for me meant the world. Rodrigo has 30+ years of experience in the field of dog care, veterinarian support and is well linked in the neighborhood with other owners and a long time vet whom I use. He has brought all of his knowledge together to make sure the pets he works with receive the best of him and he gives the best of himself. My boy has never looked so handsome and is finally at peace by not having to manage his tremendous coat that had grown in. I think if you are looking for a professional, caring, knowledgeable and compassionate groomer, Rodrigo Leite is it. He along with his team and the warm and friendly Rayssa who manages the front of the shop, you will be very happy with the results and the bonds formed between yourself (as pet owner) and this amazing staff.

We took our two Yorkshire Terriers to be groomed and I can’t recommend this team enough! Our dogs were extremely calm upon arrival and pick up - which just speaks to the positive energy of the store front and team. They looked amazing and smelled even better. Rodrigo and his team were even able to cut the nails of our older male Yorkie who usually doesn’t tolerate trimmings. We were extremely impressed with the care and service provided and will definitely be returning!!

Rodrigo has been cutting our Wheaten Terrier’s coat for three years, and nobody has ever done a better job. Our dog can be a little anxious around groomers, but he always comes back happy and relaxed — and looking amazing! Rodrigo is fantastic with our dog, to the point that we continue to go back to Homedoggy even after we’ve moved to another city.

Homedoggy does a consistently good job on our Gillie. She has curly fur that can get matted, yet unlike other groomers, they will never shave her and always follow our directions. They are very communicative and reasonably priced. Very recommended if you live in the Park Slope area

Rod has been grooming my dog for over 10 years since she was a puppy. I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with her. He is patient over the years he’s groomed my dog now that he older and has some health issues and is very caring and gentle with her. She always looks great after her groom at Homedoggy. The entire staff is extremely friendly and professional and I recommend Homedoggy to everyone I know.

It’s so clean, and beautiful the people are friendly and loving and attentive to my puppy they made me feel right at home it gives you a sense of safety and security that your pup is in good hands. I know there’s a lot of places out there that mistreat animals but I didn’t get that feeling at all from Home doggy and I appreciate that because my puppy is my everything. Homedoggy gave my two dogs their best grooming ever. They were available in a timely manner, picked up the dogs from my home, and we got the dogs back clean and sharp-looking! We’ve taken our dog (a fluffy corgi) twice to HomeDoggy so far and they’ve groomed his hair perfectly both times. You can tell he feels great after his grooming sessions (not to mention, he gets a lot of compliments!). This is also the only grooming place we can walk by that he doesn’t try to run from like he does with other groomers or the vet. The team at HomeDoggy is very friendly and knowledgeable, clearly loves animals, listens to their customers, and does great work. So glad to have them in the neighborhood!

What to do with a pup with too much energy trapped inside an apartment - send him to Homedoggy! Our 10 month pup comes home exhausted!! He has the best time playing with all the other pups and if we try to walk by the store front on errands, he will pull me straight to the front door! He loves it here!!!As for grooming, I have the mindset that I can wash my own dog, BUT I was wrong!!! I have never seen my dog look so clean and soft before. There is definitely a noticeable difference between when I do it and Homedoggy does - and its worth every penny. He stays clean for days despite his valiant effort of getting dirty again.

Rod has groomed our Norfolk Terrier for years. He is a perfectionist and our dog loves him. Hand stripping takes patience, for the dog and the groomer, and the result was always great. When i first got my small fluffy mix, siena, i thought i could groom her myself but she soon got matted. i brought her to a vet near me who had a groomer. she did a terrible job & just cut all her fur off so never went back! then i found Rod was working at my vet so i tried him & he was the exact opposite as he brushed the mats out instead. that was 17 years ago & i have followed him from place to place & now he has opened Home Doggie. he is a great perfectionist with his grooming & knows the properway to groom all breeds. i have recommended him to many friends over the years without hesitation!!

I just love HomeDoggy! We needed to find a good daycare for our puppy (7 months). The first place we tried, he would back up into me and try to crawl up my leg when I took him over. At HomeDoggy he starts pulling a couple blocks away when he figures out where we are going, cries to get into the door and wants to run straight to the back! “See ya mom-I got some playing to do!” 😂 we have also boarded him a couple of times and he did great. I was a bit nervous about it all at first since this is my first dog but I got to meet Rodrigo and he put me at ease, explaining their approach. Now, I don’t worry a bit. I can tell everyone loves those dogs and takes such great care. I won’t take him anywhere else! Great experience as usual with Rodrigo and his crew, he remembers my dogs and they remember him.As we were waiting our turn for drop off, someone else’s dog got aggressive towards my dogs and Rodrigo immediately intervened. Since the other dog continued being aggressive, it was sent back with the owners to avoid risking other dogs under Homedoggy’s care.I wish we were closer to this location, but the service is worth the extra time.

Benji is my 2nd schnauzer, the 1st was a mini schnauzer that I raised from 8 day to 15yrs. He was from a family of award winning show dogs. Although we never showed him we went to an old German couple in ridgewood, who specialized in breeding and grooming mini schnauzers. Benji who is a 6yr old rescued mini schnauzer (found under a bench on bday and 206th st as a yrs old pup). He was very high strung and a mess grooming wise. No one could groom him properly until I was introduced to Rodrigo. Not only does he know how to stylishly groom him (a good schnauzer cut is hard to find), my pooch is relaxed when he is finished with him. Rodrigo is like a dog whisperer. He gets benji. His gentleness and his artistic grooming ability is a rare find

I have gotten several groomings for my Old English Sheepdog here over the years and they always do a good job.My dog is old now and has not been able to use his left leg recently due to bone cancer. He also doesn’t have very strong thigh muscles, so he can’t really stand or walk without assistance.I let them know my situation and asked to be fit in, as he only had a couple weeks left and I wanted him to be shaved so he would be more comfortable.They were incredibly caring and accommodating. They carried him downstairs in his stroller and took their time with him, since they knew he needed breaks. They also made sure to let me know they were being extra careful with him (sometimes it’s just nice to be reminded that they are aware it’s a delicate situation.)I am very grateful that Bogie was able to get his hair cut and be more comfortable in the last couple of weeks of his life.Thank you.

I tried bringing my pup here after I was told it was open (my dog used to go to wash n go). I pre-warned them that he’s extremely nervous and would need a muzzle for a grooming. When I arrived the lady that welcomed me said there was no need for me to put a muzzle on (which I offered to do) and the groomer would do it. 30 minutes later I received a call to say that the groomer was very busy and there was nowhere for my dog to wait without a muzzle and I would have to pick him up. I was very surprised to hear this and explained that I’d taken a cab each way and was reluctant to come back if my dog wasn’t going to be groomed. The lady suggested that they would try again. Ten minutes later I received another call to say I would have to return to pick him up as they had been unsuccessful ‘as the groomer is very busy and can’t help’. I therefore returned to pick up my pup, $40 out of pocket after four Ubers. I asked for the manager to call me but never received a call. If I hadn’t warned them and offered to put the muzzle on then I wouldn’t have minded but they ignored my suggestion and the manager didn’t even have the decency to follow up.I went back to homedoggy and have had nothing but good experiences.

I took my senior dog there for a grooming appointment. She is special needs as she has congestive heart failure. I shared this with their team as I try to make sure her grooming appointments are as low stress and quick as possible to accommodate her needs. The team was incredibly receptive and accommodating. They treated Zoe like a queen and even finished her grooming early! Zoe looked and felt great afterwards. I couldnt be happier and plan on using them for all her future grooming appointments. She is a Havanese so her coat is very high maintenance (grooming every 8-12 weeks). I was so impressed that I will be using them for my new rescue pup, as well. He has a ton of energy and their flexible doggie daycare services will be perfect!
