I had been taking my Riley to Sonia for close to 10 years. He past recently but I wanted to share how amazing Sonia is. She and Riley had a special connection. He was always very relaxed with her and she the same with him. He always came home smelling so good, refreshed and loved the cuts. I think what makes her business great, is she does one dog at a time. She took her time and I loved that! Anytime she noticed something on him that didnt look right, she always told me about it and I would bring it up to his vet. She was usually right, thank goodness! Did I mention how knowledgeable she is about dogs? Sonia is just the best in her mannerisms and how she handles her business as well as her furry customers and their owners. Definitely bring your furbaby to Sonia! I am so glad I did! :)

Sonia is wonderful! She takes her time getting my rescue pup with anxiety comfortable before she grooms him so he knows he is safe. She takes 4 hours for his appointments since she runs it by herself plus a helper. I know my pup is in great hands when he’s with Sonia!

We have been taking our Havanese to Sonia for years and her grooming is unrivaled. She is great with our little guy, caring, experienced, has a keen understanding of dogs, and is meticulous in her grooming. We never have to give her direction, whatever she does is always just right. Weve only occasionally had to go elsewhere due to scheduling conflict but were always disappointed in the care and cuts weve gotten anywhere else. We highly recommend Sonia as the best groomer in town.

My dog was groomed by Sonia for five years and the only reason we stopped was because I moved. Finding Sonia was a godsend because we had many terrible experiences with shops that had too many dogs in at once and groomers that came and went in a flash. At Sonia’s she is wonderful, caring, and it is not packed with dogs. I always know it will be Sonia grooming my dog. She puts so much care into her work. My dog was beautiful every time. Sonia also tells you when she notices health issues, she has caught things I didn’t and it was very helpful. Send your pup to Sonia and be at ease that they are in good hands!

I have been going to Sonia for over 2 years! Sonia is a super professional and courteous groomer. She takes meticulous notes on each dog to ensure consistent and excellent service. I know my pup will always come back happy and beautiful!

Sonia feels like a member of the family, that we sadly only see every 6-8 weeks! Shes incredibly thoughtful, organized, and gives our dog a lot of love and 1x1 grooming. Our dog Edie used to be nervous to go, but now just trots in. She always looks great, and always smells incredible.Weve been going to Sonia since before the pandemic. We moved away from South Slope but still go to Sonia. A wonderful person, running a wonderful business.

Sonia is wonderful! She’s been grooming my cavalier king charles spaniel for over 4 years now, and consistently does a stunning job. I appreciate that she really takes the time to get to know each dog individually by taking their needs into account. The prices are more than reasonable, and it’s so comforting to know that I’m leaving my pet with someone who is attentive and extremely caring. Could not recommend enough!

Sonia has been grooming our Havanese Pepper for several years, and I would never take Pepper anywhere else. Sonia clearly cares for the dogs she grooms, is thoroughly professional, and very kind. Our dog is pretty skittish at the groomers, but Sonia helps her feel comfortable. And, of course, Pepper always looks great after!

It would be difficult to find anyone more dedicated and caring than Sonia. On top of that, she’s an incredible groomer who gives beautiful haircuts. My dog loves her and tries to visit every time we pass her shop.

Sonia is an amazing groomer. Her approach is to put the pet first, giving them breaks, making the experience a pleasant one for your pet. The grooms are flawless each and every time. Knowing my pet will come home looking adorable and happy is the best feeling.

Sonia does an amazing job with our 4 year old terrier mix (17lb). He gets more compliments on his hair than anyone I know. She knows how to handle him well (he doesn’t like vet or cleaning) and is good at communicating if things change. This is a small local business that I’m proud to support. Sonia is a sweet person and good to our pup.

My dog Ellie is very sensitive to grooming, she usually trembles for days after being groomed and seems unhappy. This was not the case when she came back from being groomed by Sonia! She was her normal and playful self and had a gorgeous cut. We adore Sonia as there is no other groomer who is more gentle with my pup!

Sonia is extremely attentive and caring for my dog and is very accomodating with scheduling. It is clear and apparent that she cares about the dogs she grooms and often alerts me when my dog is exhibiting symptoms that should be checked out by a vet.I highly recommend her shop to anyone in the area.

We really trust Sonia. Shes been grooming our schnauzer for several years now, and she always does a great job and takes great care. I appreciate that she keeps notes on our visits so she can keep our dogs haircut consistent without having a new conversation every time - if only my own hair dresser would do the same! Sometimes it takes a few hours, but we never mind.
