    This location is overall the best one! Product availability is great and the staff are all so knowledgeable and willing to help. I am a new pet owner, having my cat for a little over a month now, and it has been great. Shopping is quick, easy and affordable. Return policy is also great. I had bought a litter that made my cat sick and when I went to exchange it, they were so understanding of the issues and offered me so much more information that was great to know.

    Great place for all your pet needs. My labs get nails clipped here monthly as well as occasional grooming. Very friendly staff. Variety of pet food,toys and supplies.

    Just love this store. Everyone is so nice. I always get great service. I have my very large Goldendoodle groomed there. Jonathan does a fantastic job. Always very nice even though I know my doodle Dunkin is a pain in the butt.

    I had my first grooming appointment at Pet Supply Plus Amherst. My groomer’s name was Re, and she was wonderful!! My dog is an 11 year old Yorker and he can be fiesta. He turned out beautiful!!! Highly Recommend!!!

    I had saved a chinchilla and came in 20 minutes to closing and need the get everything to hold him over till the cage I ordered comes in in 2 days. Joe Martinez was the worker who helped me with everything. Gave me tips on what I may need and helped me get the best supplies. He even carried the stuff with me to my car. He went above and beyond to help me and I am beyond grateful 🙏 thank you Joe me and Chico are grateful

    They actually carry the food I get my gerbils, and they have a great variety of good food thats a little on the pricey side, but worth it once you see the difference it makes on your animal.

    The staff are amazing and I went in there in a panic. Megan literally took time of her own with approval to help me figure out what I needed for my new friend. She was an angel on disguise! The rest of the staff are truly great and the store is very easy to navigate.

    Love this place. Such a variety. Staff is wonderful. Even if you go just to look around, they are ok with that. Its a nice place to take the kids to experience animals they normally would not see at your regular pet store. I absolutely love it there.

    Wonderful staff and groomers here. Bridget takes very good care of Scruffy the Maltese. He doesnt get anxious when he comes here, and she takes her time with him if he does (he really doesnt like getting his nails cut). Everyone here is friendly and we love bringing him here.

    Clean store. Always use our dirty dog card- good for 5 self use dog baths, 5/$25 that includes soap and towels! So close to Ellicott Creek Bark Park, super convenient for muddy days at the park! Save your car seats! Also has a blow dryer as seen next to my dog hating the experience 😂

    We took our cockapoo here last night for his first groom at this store and I have to say the groomer Bridget was amazing. She was very warm, compassionate and friendly and our dog just loved her. He can be very anxious and she did an awesome job. We will be back!

    Maddie in the grooming salon deserves 5000 stars - 5 stars doesn’t do her incredible work justice! Maddie is so kind and client-focused, and very calm which my dog needs because grooming stresses her out sometimes regardless of who is grooming her. Nala seems way more comfortable with Maddie than pretty much any other groomer she’s seen! Maddie has done an incredible job each time she’s groomed Nala, whether it be a full cut, teeth clean, etc., or just a bath - Maddie always exceeds my expectations! She makes sure she has a very clear understanding of the clients requests or preferences to ensure that your pup comes back to you looking like a million bucks. I will always book with Maddie if she is available because she goes above and beyond with each groom. Thanks so much for everything Maddie - you are a rockstar!

    Every time I go to pet supplies plus the staff is extremely helpful and nice. Today, I called asking for a specific product and was told it was out of stock. The same woman called me back minutes later to tell me she found it and would have it ready at checkout for me. I didn’t even leave my number! She must’ve searched for it in recent calls. She went above and beyond for a customer she doesn’t even know. I couldn’t be happier that this is the place I go for my fur babies.

    I appreciate all the brands Pet Supplies Plus stocks. I have two dogs with food allergies and it is often very hard to find products for them, but the sales associates were knowledgeable and so helpful in looking at ingredients and ultimately finding that Stella and chewy had options for me!!! Their location is also convenient.

    We bought our adult cats a gorgeous new cat tree that was not even half the cost of other large Pet store chains. Not only was the quality and the price right but we also received top notch customer service. We didnt have to flag anyone down for assistance. We were approached by a young man who clearly was stocking a shelf but saw us looking and kindly asked to assist us and ended up carrying the tall cat tree all the way to our vehicle. He was friendly. Good products and helpful staff.

    Excellent excellent self serve dog grooming station. Extremely impressed. 5 washes for $25. On top of that the facility is extremely clean with towels provided and all different shampoos. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Excited to bring our dog back for another bath!

    I am not sure why it is asking me to rate this location. I go to the location on Sheridan Drive and I love it!! I have been taking my dog there since she was a puppy to get her nails trimmed. They also had the puppy food I used when other pet stores where out. I drive from Niagara Falls to the Sheridan Drive location because I have had such great experiences! I recommend this location to everyone who asks where I take my dog to get her nails trimmed.

    Staff is friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable. Can find many kinds of food for pets as well as treats, toys, treatments, & other things. Update on 11/7/2021: because of the shortage of can cat food & frozen food for reptiles, the one girl showed me a brand, made in the US, that is comparable to what I normally use & the manager put in an early order for frozen food to hopefully get some in. Thank you so much for going above & beyond! They still are great.

    This location is great! Everyone is always so friendly and helpful whenever I go (which is a couple times a month). Thank you to the ladies in the store today, who gave my unhappy cat (he had just come from the vet) a toy and paid him lots of attention. He is now happily playing with his toy.

    I LOVE this store. Theyre normally well stocked and if theyre not its due to things they cant get in because of the manufacturer or right now its shipping issues like all stores. The staff at this store is beyond fantastic. You wont come across anyone here thats unwilling to help you if needed or unpleasant. Im here so frequently its kind of ridiculous because I have spoiled pets and reptiles so I mean it when I say theyre just great. The store is clean, youre greeted and helped. ALSO, PSP stores are the best for caring for the reptiles and small animals in their store compared to Petco and Pet Smart. Ive done my own observation and Im only a customer not an employee of any of them. The others give out the wrong info, and do not do the right things and that really bothers me as well because that matters. They even have a vet that comes and checks all of their reptiles as needed. They care!

    I adopted an 8 yr old chubby dog named Ruley a couple yrs ago and brought him to your store because he was in need of serious grooming.     We take our dog Critter, a pomeranian miniature poodle mix for grooming . Re is the groomer we use and she does a fantastic job on Critter. We get a lot of compliments on her when we take her out. We would definitely recommend Re for grooming

    I shop here often. All the pet supplies, actually. They price well, supplies are usually available (I dont blame them for the ongoing cat food/treat shortage).. The sustomer support, is great at this location.(On the bad side..Dog tubs.My family/friends would like to know, who designed the NEW dog wash areas.. Having 50-70#pups and larger..Its not safe to my liking. And very minimal on how to get the bigger dogs up and in. I did the lifting for a bit then just threw in the towel Not having those lower larger areas has me now bathing my dogs in my walk in shower. LUCKILY, my shower was designed with a 4 drain all the way to the waste drain, never a clog. I am good where I am at. But, It was nice to have available) Back to the 97%.. grade for the store. The bathes are no longer my beef.

    Every time I walk into this store, I am greeted with a Good morning, afternoon or evening . The staff is always happy and willing to assist you in any way.     I placed an online order yesterday, and shortly thereafter received a phone call that one of the kitty litters on my list was not available. A brief conversation followed in which I was given the opportunity for replacement or removal from my list. We agreed that a replacement of a similar item for the same price would be desired. In less than 1/2 hour my email announced my order was ready. We drove to pick it up; I called to say I had arrived and within minutes a very polite young man placed the items in my car and then said, here, handing me an envelop which said thank you. I have always had a good response from this particular Pet Supplies Store, where customer service is practiced at the highest level.

    In General I like this place, the staff is friendly and the store is clean. I do think its a bit expensive, and they are often out of the puppy food my dog eats. They also have a dog washer that you can bring your dog into and wash yourself.

    My family and I went in the other day for a few things. We needed a new collar for our cane Corso, a big Kong toy, some fetch balls, and my husband wanted to get some more fish. We were able to find everything without issue. The staff was all super nice and helpful. My one year old most likely drove the entire store insane running around like a maniac, yet the staff was still patient. We were able to get everything we came for, and then some. They have a pet tag machine, so we were able to get a custom tag for our dog. They also have upside-down catfish! We havent been able to find them anywhere besides the fish place!

    Each employee was very helpful and patiently answered all of my questions. She was cleaning the feeder fish tank and obviously took her job very well. The selection of supplies is astounding and the reptiles were very well cared for. The enclosures did look unclean, but seeing as they were about to be cleaned I feel this is okay. The fish were lively and were eager to dart around and watch you. The employee who helped me was a natural and showed me how to handle feeder insects even letting me see all the variations of phenoix worms and mealworms. I highly recommend. The supply of dog food is always healthy, and rarely have I brought home treats that my dog wont devour. In my few visit there has always been at least one available animal expert, and the woman I spoke with did very well with animals. I highly recommend.

    I recently took my very thick coated Golden Retrievers to be groomed and shaved down for the summer...Jeremy was her groomer and he was kind and treated her with such gentleness ...and as I watched him for the first few minutes the clippers got clogged upImmediately... I felt so bad for him .. when I returned to pick her up they were on the floor cuddling and she looked so beautiful... he did a fantastic job and the two were bonded... it meant so much to me to know I left her in the hands of a caring gentle groomer.... I would recommend him to all 💖🐶💖

    As.much as i like this store your on line discount practices need adjusting so all can use..today i was in store specifically for on discount of 25% off..thought i saved it..got to checkout couldnt find it so lost the discount cashier said they have no way of retrieving that discount..thats not right ifs its on line or anywhere theres a discount it should be available to all..and i do have a card to your store..what good does it do..not very happy with this visit at all..

    Get most of my bearded dragons supplies from here. They seem to have a problem with crickets though. Always out or all dead whenever I come. Maybe its just my poor timing. They always apologize and offer to call their Sheridan location.

    Update: We now go on a regular basis about once a quarter. They take great care of our two dogs and we are still extremely happy with the service we receive.Have been back several times now and the groomers are still great.
