My Bernese Mountain Dog, Harpur, has been groomed by Liza nearly her entire life (4 years). I have to say, Liza and the rest of the staff at Harbor Hound have been terrific! They always do an immaculate fur cut on her and leave her smelling wonderful! Liza truly has excellent grooming skills and shes a total sweetheart. Theyve been nothing but accommodating to me and really have been a pleasure to go to!

Harbor Hounds is a small boutique shop in the heart of Cold Spring Harbor. They have a nice selection of apparel, accessories and treats. Linda and Maria are friendly, knowledgeable and most important caring and patient. I bring my miniature long haired dachshund to Harbor Hounds to be groomed. I am always confident Oscar will have a wonderful experience, and I never worry about him being stressed, or miss handled. They do a wonderful job taking care of all his tangles, matts, and nails. He always looks, and smells like a show dog when they are done grooming him. I highly recommend Harbor Hounds.

I recently brought my cocker spaniel for grooming. He is very difficult and had post- COVID entire body overgrown. They did an excellent job - we will be back and I would highly recommend this place!

They are terrific with all dogs - no matter the size or age. They did a great job on our Great Dane and have the patience of a saint with our 15 year old Yorkie. The best groomers ever!

The employees are really pleasant and they actually cut my dogs nails, unlike most places that just seem to tip them. Found our new dog grooming spot!

Excellent job with my dog. He just got the grooming of his life today. He looks like he could compete in a dog show! The icing on the cake? He actually kissed Hector (groomer extraordinaire) goodbye. Really it doesn’t get any better than that!
