This is one of the better dog parks in Monroe County NY. There is plenty of grass and a couple or 3 shade trees... Definitely want to wear bug spray... -
Review 2 (2022-03-06 - Rating: 5)
Very interesting dog park just off the I90 south of Rochester. Benches, water features, even a dog obstacle course. Well fenced- first time I saw maglocks on a dog park gate. Extremely well maintained, just a little muddy this time of year. Really friendly dog owners. -
Review 3 (2022-05-13 - Rating: 5)
*note: this is not an open park, you need to buy a pass*So much fun for dogs and humans alike!!! Great space to run around, with trees and a creek (for the big dogs), poop bags are readily available, there is a bathroom for the humans, and a hose to wash your dog off. The creek is great, but it can also be very, VERY muddy. -
Review 4 (2019-02-04 - Rating: 5)
You need to pay to join (town hall), they give you a pass and a dog tag. Always maintained, poop bag/ trash can posts, full fence with locking door, lots of room to run. Big dog/ small dog seperate sections, devided by a fence. Fuzzy mans favorite run around spot. -
Review 5 (2017-03-28 - Rating: 5)
This is the happiest place for dogs of Rochester. There are always balls to play with, everyone is friendly and courteous, lots of space to roam around, even a pond for the larger breed area. -
Review 6 (2023-07-04 - Rating: 5)
An amazing members only dog park, where the people and dogs are friendly. I highly recommend signing up for the annual membership. At $24, its well worth the money for unlimited visits to all Monroe County dog parks. -
Review 7 (2017-10-05 - Rating: 4)
My dog absolutely loves going to the dog park here. Only downfall is the water fountain is broke. So make sure you bring clean water for your pups! -
Review 8 (2021-08-18 - Rating: 5)
My dog loved this park! I like the fact is has trees, tall bushes and a mini creek to run through. Its not huge but big enough for my dog to feel like she had more to explore and run through. It also has a water fountain inside for the dogs and a hose outside to spray them off. Fun little park! -
Review 9 (2021-06-26 - Rating: 5)
One of the best dog parks Ive been to. Its private so need township pass or nice dog owner already in park :) -
Review 10 (2024-07-20 - Rating: 4)
Our first visit was a good experience for my dog and for me, so we will be back. The only problem I noted was a mud hole immediately inside the second gate that was hard to avoid. -
Review 11 (2024-01-12 - Rating: 5)
The creek is awesome! I live in Philly but i am in Rochester with my dog several times per year, so it was well worth it to sign up for this dog park network in Monroe County. Love, love, love it! Please, if you havent signed up, dont ask someone to let you in. Just. Sign. Up. -
Review 12 (2020-02-03 - Rating: 5)
This place is great. It has a creek that runs through the big dog park and tons of space. My two huskies loved it! -
Review 13 (2020-02-08 - Rating: 5)
The best dog park I’ve been to in North America - and I’ve been to many throughout Canada and the Eastern Seaboard, US. Great, well maintained facilities. Beautiful landscaping - the hills are fun for the dogs, and paths/bridges make for natural play areas. The agility equipment is a great touch, too. Wonderful dog park. Dress for the weather and the conditions - wet dogs! A+ -
Review 14 (2022-04-13 - Rating: 4)
We only had one visit so I may have to update in the future, but we had a great time! We went on a Friday morning for an entire hour and we were the only ones there. We had the whole park to run and play in and my dog had a blast exploring and getting muddy and wet. There was some trash in the water and in bushes but it wasnt too excessive. Im hoping to take him again soon and I hope it continues to be slower on Friday mornings. Much more relaxed compared to our visit to Ellison! -
Review 15 (2018-02-16 - Rating: 5)
Large dog area is great! Has a creek with bridges, small water pool, and hills. -
Review 16 (2023-05-17 - Rating: 4)
Super cute little dog park! I like the little “creek” spot as it’s not deep and the perfect little cool off spot for my dogs. They have lots of room to run around, and it’s in a convenient spot. -
Review 17 (2018-06-24 - Rating: 4)
Lovely fenced in area with a little stream, agility equipment, and puppy water fountain. This place is typically less crowded than Ellison. There is a separate small dog area that is almost as nice (no stream), and small dogs do have the option of hanging out with the bigger guys if desired. Not recommended for pups or parents with mobility issues; there is a fairly steep hill at the entrance that could be difficult to navigate -- in winter, this descent gets icy and can prove treacherous for all. -
Review 18 (2019-08-28 - Rating: 5)
Great place for my 2 little Havanese dogs to race around and socialize with other small dogs. The small dog side is all grassy, has a watering station, an agility ramp and hurdle, and benches for the humans. Once we went into the large dog side (when there werent any other dogs there) and didnt like it at all. There is a stinky, muddy creek going through it. I had to shampoo my dogs as soon as I got home. -
Review 19 (2017-06-22 - Rating: 4)
Smaller park, but the water areas and agility playground are a blast for the dogs!! Decent grassy areas to run around in. Make sure you register to use the parks with the town first, the gates are locked and its about $35/yr to use the area. Up to you if the price is worth it! -
Review 20 (2019-04-23 - Rating: 4)
Awesome dog park. Some dogs on the small dog side have some problems and some owners that treat them more like dogs than living creatures so it might be a better idea to go on the large dog dude. There have been some irresponsible dog owners but this being a private park mostly weeds them out. A few agility fixtures are available and both sides have plenty of space for dogs to run. In my experience any malfunctioning equipment has been fixed quickly. Love this place and love going here. I do however wish there were evening hours available for people who work during the day. -
Review 21 (2018-05-20 - Rating: 4)
As the country owned doing parks go this is one of the better ones. HUGE side for both larger and smaller dogs.On the big dog side theres a stream and water to play in. Be prepared for the mud. Owners are generally very friendly. Same as any other dog park but not as many d-bags like at Ellison. My main complaint, I feel they need smaller openings where the fence leading out of the stream is. Some medium sized dogs (beagle, border collie, boxer) could for through the bars if motivated. 50 feet from the north water gate is 490. -
Review 22 (2023-08-01 - Rating: 5)
So there’s a stream with bridges (sweet for the water lovers!), thick underbrush in the creek (fun to hide in!), some shade (sweet for me!), big open areas (runners!), and divided big dog/little dog areas, it’s a winner, 5 stars, heck yeah… -
Review 23 (2020-02-01 - Rating: 5)
I have a very small dog park in PA near where I live. It doesnt even come anywhere near this place. The property was huge with lots of obstacles and things for the dogs to do. Including a running spring through it. My dog doesnt care much about getting in the water but he loves drinking water when it is moving like that. The place was so clean and you could really tell that people showed respect to the work that was put in. Also something they dont do in the small little one we have. I did not pick up anyone elses dog waste in this park like I often have to in ours. Needless to say, I was impressed and will take him again if in the area. -
Review 24 (2019-08-23 - Rating: 5)
We were in the area and we wanted to play disc golf, so we stopped by. This park has a cute 9 hole disc golf course. These are pretty short shots. Mostly from 150-250 feet and all par 3. When we went, one tee pad was covered in water. We played twice and we plan on going again. -
Review 25 (2020-12-15 - Rating: 5)
OUR FAVORITE DOG PARK! And by our-I mean our shepsky Lolabelle! This place is so perfect for a large or small dog to run around! With so many places to run around, and different terrain it’s easily rochesters best dog park!fair warning though-there are water features that dogs can go in if your dog can’t stay away like mine! Better bring the towels! -
Review 26 (2019-07-28 - Rating: 5)
The Baldwin Cabin is newer and clean and best of all, has Air-Conditioning !!! The Baldwin cabin holds a max of 50 people inside, and has a nice large tent outside with benches to sit more people in the shade. Youre also in a nice little park that you can walk around and play Frisbee Golf - Theres also a golf driving range and a dog park. In the cabin, theres a large kitchen fridge, microwave, oven and kitchen sink, enough counter space to serve food on, and also large tables that can seat 8 to 10 people. This is a great little cabin to rent to throw a small party (birthday, graduation, etc.). -
Review 27 (2021-07-11 - Rating: 5)
Great place to let your dogs run around and play with other dogs. The area is split into areas for small dogs and big ones. Lots of space to run around, water to drink. There are benches for the humans to sit at as well. -
Review 28 (2018-05-19 - Rating: 5)
This is so awesome! Have to have a card from the town to get in and you cant get a card with out your dog being fixed and vaccinated. It is fenced in and two separated fences for large and small dogs. Water fountain for them to drink and a hose to wash them off or just cool them down. -
Review 29 (2018-11-18 - Rating: 4)
Nice private dog park (must register and you need a scan card to get in), needs more shelter/seating for the humans, a bathroom would also be great. Gets kind of muddy toward the end of the season, probably should have had more grass planted. -
Review 30 (2018-11-12 - Rating: 4)
The dog park(s) is really nice and I like how they split it into the big and small dog areas. Though I have to confess that I do not go hear for the dog park. They have a small 9 hole disc golf course on the property right in the front when you pull in. All of the holes are par 3 (though even that is a bit easy for a few of them) and this is a great place to bring beginners or work on your short game. It will take you about 30mins to play the course. There is some water to deal with as a hazard but really only comes into factor on hole 4 and can be avoided easily with a modest shot. Give this place a try for a warm up, first time, short on time, or as my friend and I typically do, make your own course and play some longer shots. I have been here several times and never have seen anyone else out playing so it is a good place for the fabled newb. -
Review 31 (2020-01-02 - Rating: 4)
Awesome Dog Park with two downsides: often muddy and next to the highway. Wear boots and bring headphones. Other than that its one of my favorites. Spacious, a creek with bridges, obstacle course, trees, benches. -
Review 32 (2018-06-26 - Rating: 4)
Went to play the 9-hole disc golf course. Short holes, longest was under 250 feet. With three under 200, and the shortest listed as 145. However, still somewhat challenging with water in play on almost half of the holes. Hole 4 is listed at 222 feet, but is surrounded by water. Two of us played 2 rounds and we lost 2 discs on that Hole, and one on #5. A good practice course for shorter approaches. Beginner friendly as long as disc loss is kept in check. Id suggest playing #4 pretty conservatively. -

Review 37 (2019-03-31 - Rating: 4)
Great dog park with lots of space for the doggos. Clean and well maintained. Weve encountered a few irresponsible owners with unfriendly dogs here and there, but thats to be expected at any dog park. -
Review 38 (2020-02-25 - Rating: 5)
My friendly dog loves this place; my grumpy dog not so much. The space is big with a variety of terrain. Friendly fog hated the water, but now goes in frequently at the dog park. -
Review 39 (2017-05-14 - Rating: 4)
Nice big running area on large dog side. Small hills need more mulch to earn 5 stars. Water feature a plus. -
Review 40 (2016-07-01 - Rating: 5)
The dog park here is really nice and most users pay pretty good attention. It is immediately off highway 90 so dont let your puppies off leash outside the park area! -

Review 84 (2018-04-28 - Rating: 4)
Look up is my second favorite dog park in Rochester. Although, technically it is maintained by the Town of Henrietta. This park is split into 2. One side is for smaller dogs, and the other side is for larger dogs. I frequent the large-dog area even though both my dogs are under 24 pounds. It has a small creek running through it. Many dogs like jumping into the creek...mine dont.Unlike Ellison Dog Park, this one does not have a gravelled walking area. Therefore, it is not ideal for walking with your dogs. -
