Morningside Dog park in Loch Sheldrake

Theres 2 fenced off areas for dogs. One for small dogs and one for Big dogs. The Small dog area is actually larger than the Big dog area. Both have 2 double gated entrances. Theres hardly space for throwing a ball.

We went on the 1st nice day in April. There was no one else there. The park is clean and cute but Kit just walked around sniffing because there was no oe to play with. This entire area is insanely busy in the summer though.

My dogs love it they love running up and down the ramp and the separation of the two pens allows them to mingle with other dogs without getting into fights and the dog has run around and do some things that you normally dont have in your own yard

Clean, pretty surroundings next to a lake, and a great selection of well constructed dog agility equipment. Two fenced areas, small dogs and large. Walking trail, benches, a small workout station, lots of picnic tables, and playground equipment.

Place looked clean; nice lush grass & safe obstacles, excellent play/agility stations; secure double gates when entering with your dog so introductions could be monitored safely; separate small dog & large dog play areas; even have a special time-out fenced-in area within the run! Dog owners/customers friendly; place not too crowded; people had even donated spare dog poo bags for those who ran out. Great place... Not too big, not too small. Its PERFECT!

My dog really likes this park. Its never crowded enough to pose a concern for covid. We go often and I pick up after others, so that my dog can enjoy it.In summer I pick up sm bags of litter daily, but at the end of the tourist season, the trash cans are put away. Ended up getting mice in my car, whenI took the litter home. Now, in the winter, I would really appreciate it if they could plow the parking lot.

Great doggie park, especially in our area where there really are not many options for exercise for people, let alone doggies. Morningside has now added some workout equipment in addition to a volleyball court and even a cool jungle gym and kiddie rides! Love it!

Took my kiddo their, we had a blast playing at the playgrounds but there was trash everywhere. People need to learn to put their trash in the garbage or even put signs up so people know where to put their trash cause it was nasty everywhere looked there was piece or few of trash. Playground areas need to be cleaned up!

Grass is a bit too high. The area needs to be maintained better. Normally it is a nice park. I just think that they neglect the dog park area.

Such a nice place to take your dog. Always clean and most of the time its empty, unfortunately. Come out and enjoy with your pups.

Beautiful views and a safe, secure and clean area for my dogs to play, with plenty of interactive equipment for them to explore, remember to bring doggy waste bags (thier dispenser was empty) and there is water for them when they are done playing.

Seemed clean and nice area. Dogs have plenty of space to run. Only issue it would be nice if there lights would come on at dusk.

We love this park! Very well kept up with. Its not very busy though, so be sure to bring a ball or frisbee!

Not the biggest dog park, but it has obstacles for the dogs and a water pump. The pump tests your patience but it works. Theres also no shade. ☹️ But its nice, the people Ive met are nice, and I enjoy taking my dog here.
