After many years as Aussie parents, we were, sadly, without one. After much researching and seeing the Watermark name come up again and again as a top notch breeder, we decided to contact Heather to see if she had any puppies available. After learning as much as she could about us, she told us she had a puppy that would be a good fit for us. She was right. Our Suki is exactly what we were looking for. Loving, intelligent, strong willed (but still obedient), and gorgeous. A good breeder wants to know that the family that is taking one of their dogs will be a good fit because Aussies can be a challenge if not properly trained, exercised, and stimulated. Heather was very thorough in her vetting of us. That told us a lot about her and her dogs. We highly recommend Watermark Australian Shepherds if you are interested in a high quality dog that will be a good fit for you. Aussies are not for everyone. If Heather thinks youd not be a good fit, thank her for saving you and a dog much heartache. If she thinks youre a good fit, you wont find a better dog.

Im totally shocked that Heather is getting random one star reviews, so I have to share my thoughts.Heather is not just a breeder. Ever since bringing home our pup, she has become a great friend and an endless resource. Heather lives and breathes these dogs and cares so deeply about the future of this breed. And so, when you first talk to Heather, youre not just getting a dog from her. Youre committing yourself to a new family member being passed off by hands that truly want the best for her pups. In an age where these gorgeous dogs are popularized by social media and where backyard breeders would happily sell you a puppy without letting you know what youre in for (or without speaking as many words to you), Heather is a diamond in the rough.Aussies are not an easy breed. They are smart, they are willful, and they have boundless energy. They can also be aloof and protective. When they go bad, they become a liability. And that means that if you dont vet your breeder well, you could be in for a world of hurt. Ive had the pleasure of meeting many, many Watermark dogs and have become good friends with many of their owners. Our own dog is the sweetest, most loving, incredible dog I have ever known. Heather knows what shes doing, and when she engages you in a conversation and wants to know more about you and how you came to be interested in Aussies, be thrilled! It means youve found a good one.

Heather is an amazing person and a phenomenal breeder. You wont find anyone who loves her dogs and looks out for them for their whole lives like she does. She wants to know her dogs future owners so that she can make sure they can go to the homes that are best for them. I am truly lucky to have had her as my dog Mayas breeder. Shes grown into a beautiful, intelligent dog and has a lovely temperament. I cant recommend Heather enough if youre looking for a kind, reputable, knowledgeable breeder.

Adopted a pup in January 2021. She has grown into the sweetest most affectionate girl. Her coat is magnificent. Soft, shiny and silky. I was asked tonight if we show her by a gentleman at the dog park. No we dont, but Im sure we could. So pleased with our Watermark Aussie girl!!! Thank you Heather for out Wonderful Aussie.
