My furry children Zeus and Mia love this place. The place is spacious, it is always clean, my furry children can smell their pee and that of their furry friends. Natural grass is very good, as it is an exercise for my furry dogs.

Im in the habit of visiting different ones even though I love animals but cannot afford to care for a dog. This one has a dirt ground but has water bowls and a hose on each side for large dogs and one for small.Whichever one I go to, I meet the nicest people and learn so much from them! 😄

  • Review 3 (2022-12-21 - Rating: 5)

Love this dog park and I am there regularly. I try to take my two dogs there at least once a day when I am able to. There are two good size sections as well totaling maybe 1.5 - 2 acres approximately. A large side for medium to large dogs and a smaller side (decent size) for smaller dogs. They have bowls and water available and occassionally poop bags too. I normally bring my own bags though, just in case. The hours are sunrise to sunset and there is plenty of parking. Suggestions I would give is maybe stay away during or after rain because it can get pretty muddy there and bring your own poop bags.

Free parking at the Clocks Blvd. Opens 8am to dusk. Big open space plenty for running. Has two sections, one for small dogs only and the other side for big dogs and small dogs with working water fountains on both sides.

  • Review 5 (2018-05-15 - Rating: 5)

Very clean. A lot of smaller dogs. We have a small dog. It was my first visit. Will definitely go back.

  • Review 6 (2023-08-27 - Rating: 4)

Can get pretty muddy after a rainy day. They have a hose with some water bowls, though, and some benches with 1 covered picnic table. Basic dog park, friendly people and pets.

  • Review 7 (2019-11-17 - Rating: 4)

The dogs have a great time here. Its a good system where small and large breed dogs are in separate areas. Most people who come are good and bring well trained dogs. The reason I didnt give it 5 starts is sometimes arguments break out among dog owners, and it can also get a bit muddy.

  • Review 8 (2023-09-25 - Rating: 4)

My favorite dog park around here. Alot of ppl and dogs know eachother here too, seems like a lot of regulars. Only downside, is they dont provide bags.

  • Review 9 (2020-02-17 - Rating: 4)

We were in the small dog run, there were 10 dogs for my Lucy to play with. It is a large area with wood chips covering ground. Plenty of benches and a table available, welcoming group of regulars...we had fun. Overall nice experience.

  • Review 10 (2018-04-04 - Rating: 4)

This park is large, with two separate areas, one for smaller dogs, and the larger area for both big and small. After a storm, the park can be very swampy with large muddy puddles. There are a good number of benches and tables for owners to sit at while their dogs play.

  • Review 11 (2022-08-08 - Rating: 4)

I have always been a pet and wild animal person. ❤😍I pass by often, in my travels. I have found the dog park clean, and well taken care of.Although I have only been there twice, I plan on going more often, as I found the people friendly and caring also.

  • Review 12 (2021-07-19 - Rating: 5)

The dog park in Massapequa we great our dog enjoyed running around in it with a few other dogs. I only wish that they had human rest rooms so we could also go instead of having to get our dog and leave the park with her. I know that the Dog Park up on Bayville has rest rooms for us , it is not exactly near the dog park but rather the beach area and also the Ball field area but still at least 1 of us could stay with our dog will the other walks to the restroom. Just a thought maybe the Town of Oysterbay could create human restrooms near the parking lot in Massapequa for people to use.

  • Review 13 (2019-11-14 - Rating: 4)

Several large friendly dogs there today. My Standard Poodle had fun. Just wish the town would put down some of the wood chips in the piles at the edge of the parking lot - the park is very muddy.

  • Review 14 (2019-12-02 - Rating: 5)

Awesome space (large) for both large and small breeds (separated). Benches (some with a roof) to sit and bags usually plentiful and available. Usually has plenty of dogs (particularly on large breed side) and usually some dirty tennis balls available.Only negative is that it is a mud pit after rain.

  • Review 15 (2019-05-21 - Rating: 5)

I brought my dog here so he could interact with other dogs. The place is large, with water and shade available. It has two separate sections, one for small dogs and the other one for dogs over 30 lbs.The entire area is fenced with chain link

  • Review 16 (2023-10-08 - Rating: 4)

Amazing dog park with very friendly people and dogs. Would like to see more woodchips to prevent puddles after rain thl

  • Review 17 (2017-04-07 - Rating: 4)

Great dog park with lots of room and shaded areas. Just dont go for a few days after it rains cause it turns into a giant mud pit. Oh and be careful of the parking lot its full of pot holes and craters

  • Review 18 (2017-02-20 - Rating: 5)

I just discovered this dog park. We usually go to the one in Long Island city near the Pepsi sign. But I really like this one too. I love the fact that big dogs and small dogs are separated from each other so i dont have to worry if my small dog is making problems. Its a pretty BIG dog run. You can also sit there. We definitely come back.

  • Review 19 (2017-07-04 - Rating: 4)

Great dog park with a small dog run and a large dog run. Running water for the pups in the summer. Would like to get some people together to replace some of the wood chips though, doesnt seem like the town is keeping up with it.

  • Review 20 (2019-03-03 - Rating: 4)

Bringing a dog that is not spayed or especially neutered is not too bright. It creates an overly aggressive situation for both dog and owner. Otherwise, it is a great dog park!

  • Review 21 (2018-08-20 - Rating: 4)

Ive been going there since it opened now Im three dogs later and they always have fun when they get there. Theres plenty of room to run around they also have running water during the summer which makes it easier

  • Review 22 (2019-05-24 - Rating: 5)

This place is great to get your dog out n running!!

  • Review 51 (2019-07-27 - Rating: 4)

Its a nice place but be sure to bring poop bags as theirs are empty. Also, I noticed the small dog area was more wooded then the big dog area. Just concerns me that the small dogs might get something in their foot

  • Review 52 (2019-07-30 - Rating: 5)

You’ve heard of the Fresh Air Fund, which takes city kids to the suburbs and countryside to let them breathe clean air? This is our version for dogs. We looked up this dog park and made our way from Massapequa to it. Big, spacious, cleanish, it’s much better than the dog runs we have easy access to in our neighborhood park, Riverside Park in Manhattan. Our dog, Tara, seen here catching her breath while running around like a demon, loved it.

High walls, separate areas for large/small dogs. Benches and trees.

  • Review 56 (2017-07-17 - Rating: 4)

Nice place for your dog to run and socialize with others.

  • Review 57 (2019-07-07 - Rating: 4)

A nice secluded dog park, open to any dog owner looking for a little extra space. Compared to my backyard its a large area, and that goes for both the large and small sides. Its well maintained and has plenty of used toys laying around incase youve forgotten yours. (I have to assume this is because of the community surrounding the park so props to them; please follow the rules!!!) Its secure, has seating and its just a nice change of pace from your boring sidewalk. The ground is mostly large woodchips though so be careful of injuries while playing and running around.

  • Review 58 (2020-01-16 - Rating: 4)
