I cannot recommend Camp Canine highly enough! It is the first (and only) daycare my dog has ever been to, and she loves it. They have so many great add-on activities (including walks in Central Park), which make Camp Canine extra special. The staff are all very friendly and helpful—I also appreciate how easy it is to communicate with them via email. If you’re looking for a great daycare for your dog, send them to Camp Canine! -

I’ve been taking my dog to camp canine since he was 5 months old. It was a fantastic socialization experience when he was a puppy and he grew to absolutely love it! It’s been 2.5 years now and he still goes and knows “camp canine” by name. The staff here are so friendly and recognize and greet my dog by name every time he comes! Amanda is the absolute best and treats my dog like an absolute king - will even personally send me photos when he’s there - my dog adores her! The owner Mike is so responsive and truly cares for all of the dogs. Brenda is so caring and sweet with my pup and all of his friends! Lena and Aria are always very responsive and friendly when I call or am dropping off and Lynn goes out of her way to find a spot for my pup when he needs a bath or grooming. Speaking of grooming, I cannot recommend Kathy enough for doodles - she just nails it! I am so grateful to have Camp Canine in the neighborhood and always know my dog is getting the most attention and love when he’s there. Highly recommend! -

Our dog Kirby loves Camp Canine!! She immediately runs down the hallway to the back and gets so excited when she sees counselors. The staff are so communicative and really care about the dogs wellbeing. -

Having to leave your four legged best friend to be boarded for the first time is never easy especially if your furry friend has severe separation anxiety (he wasnt invited on the vacation) so I looked into several places for Teddy to stay at and found there was only one place I could trust my favorite boy with and that was Camp Canine.Teddy (a 3.5 year old Goldendoodle) had been there before for daycare and grooming and always seemed happy compared to other places. So I dropped him off and he didnt even turn around and cry because he knew he was going to have fun. The only one with tears was me.They went above and beyond to reassure me that he was in good hands. I received daily emails on how he was doing and even providing pictures. Knowing he wasnt anxious allowed me to extend my trip which was such a gift.Their entire staff is dedicated, sweet and caring. I also have to mention that the facility is so big that Teddy had room to do his daily zoomies. It is also extremely clean. That was really important to me because the other places I looked into were not clean and I was not comfortable leaving him in a place like that. When I picked him up he came running down the hall with a huge smile and when we got home he slept for 26 hours. He definitely had the time of his life and I am sure cant wait to go back.Overall a huge success and a big thanks to the entire family at Camp Canine! -

I have been taking my dog to Camp Canine for over three years. I have used all the services - boarding, daycare and grooming. I have seen mass improvements on efficiency and member communication since Mike has taken ownership (almost 2 years ago). Why do I love camp canine? The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. They are incredibly responsive as well. Heres two examples:1. Cooper (my dog) had been having some major stomach problems and I kept him out of camp for over two weeks. He had been put on meds and received an IV. Upon his return to Camp, I asked the staff if he was acting himself or any issues - the replied immediately and gave me updates a few times that week.2. Cooper was feeling sick once at daycare - he threw up. They called me to tell me his condition and that they put him in the front office, holding him and giving him some pumpkin and rice mix to help ease his stomach. WHO DOES THAT?!I could find another daycare closer to my home and cheaper. But its worth the time and money to have amazing care for my fur child.Also...I have yet to find another daycare that has such amazing hours. -

Camp Canine - How wonderful can a business be? Let me tell u. Although Ive never been to any other dog hotel/dog care, I dont ever want to go to any other. Everyone who works there is AMAZING, ORGANIZED, FRIENDLY, RESPONSIVE, EDUCATIONAL, & MOST OF ALL, THEY TREAT MY OR YOUR DOG LIKE ITS THEIR OWN! Its my 3rd overnite trip & my dog ALLIE LOVES IT THERE!. They have EVERYTHING you can do to occupy ALLIE in overnight or daycare. It was recordbreak heat the other day & they take Allies collapsible bowl & H2O bottle to the park w/her. She had VIP sleeping/boarding because she likes to sleep in diff. places, & most of all, the TUCKIN STORYTELL BEDTIME SVC. is too wonderful unbelievable & Allie slept all nite. See some pix attached. We cant wait to go again!ROBERT DAD OF ALLIE -

We have had our pets boarded with many different boarders throughout the years, and Camp Canine/Feline is by far the best boarder we have used. The staff is always friendly, and I know we dont have to worry about our pets when we are gone. -

Camp Canine is beyond precious to me and my pup who goes there for daycare. The time and the effort taken to make a fun experience for the dogs (and those of us who live vicariously through them) is unmatched. So many special touches and fun little “pawties” and activities for them, it’s really a great community of pet owners to be a part of and I’m forever grateful we found Camp Canine! -

Camp Canine and the entire staff are amazing. I have boarded both of my dogs many times at Camp Canine and always feel at ease knowing my dogs are in the best hands. Mike the owner runs the place top notch. They post pictures of the dogs, provide Central Park walks, cuddle time grooming and anything the dogs need to be happy and safe. Always responsive with any questions or concerns. Only place I would board my dogs!!! -

We love Camp Canine! Camp Canine is the only place were we feel completely safe and comfortable leaving our pup, who suffers from separation anxiety, when we are away from home. Every single person we have encountered from Camp Canine has been friendly, professional, and clearly has a real love of dogs. We could tell our pup did not like her prior daycare, so finding Camp Canine has been a real lifesaver for us. Our dog also gets her nails trimmed here and boards overnight occasionally. Whenever we call to check on her when she is boarding, a counselor is always there to give us a detailed update on how she is doing. As an added bonus, Camp Canine has wonderful daily picture updates. We truly cant recommend Camp Canine enough! -

Consistently over time they never let me down. I left my dog (Tamale) at Camp Canine for ten days with the utmost of confidence. She has been going there for years as a day camper, but this was going to be her first overnight experience. She had a blast. I know because she told me so and I could see pictures of her everyday on their Facebook postings. Because I asked for her to be bathed, not only was she happy to see me, she also smelled great. Camp Canine is the only place I would trust to leave my dog!! They are loving, kind, accommodating and professional. They love my dog like family. -

We’ve tried other daycares throughout the city, but Camp Canine is by far ours and our pup’s favorite! The staff is friendly and always helpful and accommodating, and it feels like a home away from home for our boy. He’s waiting by the door every morning excited to see his friends and head to camp! -

Cant say enough about Camp Canine. I have brought my dog here for the last four years. She regularly goes to day care and gets so much love and attention. The people who work here LOVE dogs and it shows. The grooming is great, too. I feel incredibly grateful to know the staff and the owner and I appreciate the tremendous care my dog receives. -

Five Paws for Camp Canine! I cant say enough positive things about fabulous local business. My dog has been a loyal camper for several years. He enjoys spending his day with his fellow campers while I am work - but he REALLY loves the staff. Tania and team are like a big extended family for him - which is especially important to me, as my dog can be nervous around new people. Since I live alone, it is always a comfort to know that if I need to travel Rascal has someplace to stay where he is happy and well cared for. He loves the team so much, that if he spots one of them on the street, he cannot make his way to greet them fast enough. And they always greet him with just as much enthusiasm.Recently, my dog had an injury (non-camp related) that required surgery and several months of low key recuperation. The Camp Canine team asked about his well being every time I saw them around the neighborhood - and even sent him a Get Well soon card signed by the entire staff. When he was able to return to camp, he was overjoyed to be back in the fold. As far as I am concerned, his enthusiasm for Camp is the only recommendation I need - but if you have been thinking about giving Tania and team a try, I can recommend them without hesitation. -

Camp Canine gets two paws up!!! Ive rescued a lot of dogs over the years that are in need of love and attention. The pups are active members of the Camp Canine community which goes out of their way to assist me with all of their needs and provides a healthy and safe environment. All of the dogs at Camp are are friendly and grouped according to their size and activity level. Everyone who works there is extremely nice and have a sincere love of dogs. The pups look forward to their time at their home away from home and when they do come return home from Camp, I know that theyve had a full day of play and exercise.I would recommend Camp Canine to all dogs everywhere. -

I love this place. The owner is 100% hands-on. The people who work there are professional and nice. They go out of their way to be helpful. Theyve brought my dog to me when I couldnt get out of work on time and they are always willing to bring my dog outside to meet me -- if I happen to be double-parked (story of my life). My dog Sugar goes to day care at Camp Canine. She is a sweet little dog, but a bit high-strung. They take it all in stride and I know that she will be safe there. My dog is on a day care package. I became a Camp Canine member thus making my price for daycare totally reasonable. This is a great neighborhood business. I highly recommend Camp Canine. -

Camp Canine is the best. Tania and her staff are so great with my Pup. It truly is her second home. Tania took over camp canine in 2012 and apparently it is night and day since then. I could not be happier with Camp Canine. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Mala :) My pup gets so excited when we walk down the street towards camp canine she literally pulls me to the door. She has boarded there for long periods of time as well as gone to daycare and has been groomed many times. I have nothing but praise for Camp Canine! -

The FB group is great too! -

Ive been taking my dogs to Camp Canine for years. I have been truly impressed since Tania took over in early 2012. Each morning, my dogs pull me to the door, eager to meet their dog and human friends. The staff is friendly and truly loves the dogs. They know each of the dogs personally and they post pictures on their Facebook page every night. When I board my dogs, I sign them up for a Central Bark, a long walk in Central Park and a hot dog. Im thankful that my dogs have a great place to go when Im at work and travelling. -

Camp Canine is the absolute best and my Havanese Miles and I could not imagine our lives without this place! Over the past year I have used the daycare, grooming and boarding services that they offer and have been consistently impressed by the quality of service that we receive. I bring Miles to daycare 4 times a week and he absolutely loves it. The playrooms always look spotless and I have only the best things to say about the staff; they truly love the dogs and are so attentive to their needs. One of the counselors, Jorge, is a fantastic photographer and will post pictures and videos of the dogs playing on the Camp Canine Facebook page. They even host special parties for the dogs; they did a Puppy Bowl Superbowl party with special treats and a football themed photo station!Too cute.About a month ago I tried their grooming services and was so happy with the fantastic job that Kathy did….Miles has never looked better! I was initially nervous about having Miles board; I’ve never been away from him for more than a day or two. But the owner, Tania, was wonderful about answering all the questions I had and I knew he would be in terrific hands while I was away. It was like leaving him with family.Thank you for all that you do Camp Canine! -

I cannot say enough good things.I highly recommend taking your best friend to this wonderful place. My dog is very sensitive and skittish - afraid of her own shadow. The love, attentiveness and patience everyone has shown her (including the owner, managers and handlers) has been above and well-beyond. On top of that Im never waiting long to pick up or drop off because Camp Canine is properly staffed. Additionally, they are always happy in this place....makes for some of the best moments of my day.Thank you and Happy holidays to all my friends at Camp Canine! -

I recently moved to NYC and needed to board my cat while I transitioned. The staff at Camp Canine took great care of my cat. Hes still there, but will be coming home next week. I love seeing the pictures posted; it helps me to see that hes doing okay. I will continue to board him at Camp Canine. -
Review 25 (2015-02-20 - Rating: 5)
Camp Canine is the absolute best. Our high energy pup goes every day and comes home a happy, yet tired pup. The staff goes above and beyond each and everyday. They remember every dog and dog owner so when you walk in, they are already calling back for your dog to come out. They always have smiles on their faces and you can tell they truly love what they are doing. I dont know if all, but a few of the employees are vet technicians, giving you the comfort, that if anything happens, your dog will be in good hands.Camp Canine also has created a sense of community amongst the pups and parents. They post a new Facebook album daily, email videos of your dog playing and have holiday events - think cards from your dog for mothers and fathers day, Super Bowl Sunday play sessions, Halloween contests and more!We couldnt be happier with Camp Canine and highly recommend them to anyone thinking about day care for their pup. -

Camp Canine is the most wonderful environment for dogs (and dog lovers!). My rescue dog Ivy was fostered at Camp Canine and I adopted her from them. Despite having a nervous disposition, Ivy is so at home at Camp Canine and clearly loves and trusts the staff. The staff at Camp Canine are huge dog lovers and they all loved Ivy like she was their own. When I took her to the vet after adopting her, the vet marveled at how well she was cared for. It is truly high end care filled with lots of love. Tanias love for her dogs is palpable and I highly recommend them! -

We love Camp Canine/Feline! We are very comfortable leaving our cat Spice with Tania and her staff when we go on vacation. Drop-off and pickup are always so efficient which is super important to us as we are normally double parked or having an Uber wait for us outside. We cannot recommend Camp Canine/Feline enough! -
Review 29 (2015-12-21 - Rating: 5)
Camp Canine is a 10!. I cant say enough great things about it. In so many ways, they have gone above and beyond in caring for both of my dogs and I consider Tania and her staff part of my extended family. It is a business populated by true dog lovers which is evident in everything they do.When my 16 year old lab mix Molly was nearing the end of her life and could not walk on her own, Tania did not hesitate in accepting her into daycare every day. The staff there cared for her as well at camp as I did at home. While at work I never had a worry that Molly was getting the care that she needed right up until her last day. No other daycare in the city would I have done for me what Camp Canine did and I am forever grateful for their understanding, support & love.Likewise, my current pup, a beagle mix, Oliver, has been going to Camp Canine every day since he was 4 months old and watching him run down the stairs and into daycare every day for the past year is proof, to me, that he thinks of Camp as his home away from home. It is wonderful to have a place where your pet can go when you are at work or on vacation and never have to worry about their wellbeing. Simply put, Camp Canine gives you piece of mind. The staff, led by Tania, is loving and conscientious and clearly care about every dog as if they were their own. When Oliver had a small bump on his nose that was continuing to grow, it was Betsy who noticed and urged me to have it checked out. We later found out it needed to be removed.A recent renovation to the facility is just one example of how Tania tries to make it the most upscale, clean and ever improving daycare for dogs in the New York City. The staff is happy, friendly, clearly love the dogs and judging by Olivers reaction whenever he sees one of them, the feelings are mutual. Plus daily Facebook posts with clever captions and holiday events keep clients involved and helps create a community -- more a family than a business.I travel every day from the upper east side to the upper west side just to bring Oliver to the best doggy daycare in the city. It is worth it to have him spend his day with people and dogs who love him as much as I do. -
Review 30 (2012-12-30 - Rating: 5)
Since new management took over at Camp Canine, my big silly dog has loved going, stopping to stare into the window during our regular walks. She greets the staff with crazy wags and by jumping up to nose at their face, and they respond affectionately. They have been very thoughtful and always available even at the last second. My dog is usually quite exhausted after she comes home from camp, sleeping pretty solidly for the next day, so I get the impression that she plays and walks a lot. They also post pictures on their Facebook site so you can see some of your dogs experience. -

If I could give 10 stars I would. My Havanese, Milo has been going to Camp Canine for over 2 years and he was a shy, timid dog at first so as an overprotective dog mom, I was hesitant. However, after all of the attention and interaction with the staff (& other dogs) - he now RUNS down the stairs to get there everyday!Tania, Betsy and the team are amazing. They know every dog (& owner) by name & make me feel so comfortable dropping off my dog each day. Milo often gets picked up & dropped off at my apartment as well, which is a fantastic service when Im stuck working late.Milo has also stayed overnight many times and Camp Canine ALWAYS keeps me posted on how hes doing with pictures, emails, etc.I highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, loving and truly caring environment for their pet. -

Just picked up our dog after 4 days at Camp Canine. We can tell he had a great time and was well taken care of. He has not done well in his past boarding experiences. They post photos each night of the dogs on Facebook. When we picked him up on a Sunday night there were 4 staff members there hanging out and playing with the dogs. Camp Canine will be our choice when needed again. -

I have pet-Mom separation anxiety, so to have found Camp Feline was a true blessing!! If I have to be away from Italo, my Italian rescue cat, Camp Feline is now the only place I trust.Italo had to be at Camp for several weeks. The daily care and extra attention to play time, pet art work, and treat-giving was amazing! I can’t say enough about the Camp and the staff!- Meghan; July 2020 -

There arent enough stars in the sky to give camp canine. I have tried other daycares when Petey was a puppy and you could tell that the staff and owner didnt care. Tania is an absolute dog lover and a wonderful person and it trickles down to every single employee. Camp Canine understands that your dog is your baby and because of that I feel so comfortable leaving my furbaby there. The staff is wonderful and give you updates on how your pups day was as well as always call if something does not seem right. Petey has been going to Camp for four years and we couldnt be happier. My husband and I got married in April 2016 in Central Park and of course Petey was going to be our ring bearer. Tania made the day perfect by making sure Petey was washed and smelling great in his tux for his big moment and made sure he was okay without us for the rest of the day. There is no place and no people I trust more.Recently my poor baby had surgery and I didnt want to leave him alone in a cone and without hesitation Tania immediately started brainstorming ways to make both me and Petey feel comfortable at camp.Thank you thank you to Tania and all of the staff at Camp Canine. Petey is one happy pup and I am one relieved furmama!Side note- Camp Canine also works with rescue organizations to help pups get fostered and rescued so that just shows more how amazing they are! -

It can be a little expensive, but if you bring your dog in for a grooming ask for Sue! She is truly amazing. She always gives our poodle an absolutely adorable and flawless cut, and she just has a presence about her. Our dog is rather anxious, but the second Sue picks her up she totally relaxes. It is amazing to watch. -

I cannot say enough positive things about Camp Canine, Tania and the staff! They have been there for me through thick and thin. My senior dog Jon Snow required a lot of attention and they had more than enough love to give. When Jon was not feeling well Amanda would keep him in the office with her all day, when he wouldnt eat anything Adrien was there to hand feed him. They took care of him like he was their own right up until the very end.If intentions count for anything Camp Canine deserves 10 stars. They are the best group of folks out there. Betsy the manager is caring and understanding and always willing to help. Do me a favor and have a visit. I think everyone can use a little positive energy in their lives.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ -

We boarded my cat, Cyrus, here for a few days while out of town, I think around Christmas time. Wed had some bad experiences with boarding places before, and they let us see where he would be kept, the space where he could roam during his play time, and let us carry him down there (at 18 he didnt take well to strangers or any change to his routine). The staff was very nice and all the animals seemed happy and well-cared for. The kitty condo and room were very nice and Im sure would have been an exciting place for him if he was younger. He died in February so we wont be using Camp Canine again, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone with dogs or cats. -

Camp Canine is a terrific daycare and creates a great experience for all of its clients, both doggy and human! From the moment you walk in there, your dog can sense the excitement of being around a great bunch of dogs that are watched over by a wonderful staff. The owner truly cares about the welfare of your canine friend and wants to make sure they go home with a smile on their face and also very tired from all the fun they just had. And for humans, its daily posts of photos and videos on Facebook ensure that you as an owner know that your best friend is having the best time in the world. Theyre very reasonably priced for grooming as well. This is an A+ doggy daycare. -

One big note is that these guys changed management a year ago. The older managers were apparently extremely irresponsible but the new ones are great. If you have doubts, go visit and talk to the other people taking their dogs there. Our dog Madeline loves coming here, running down the stairs at every opportunity. The owner and employees are very accommodating, and will take into account any special requests you have - giving your pup medicines etc. They also take care to make sure your dog is comfortable - for example our dog is kept in the small dog room despite being larger, because all of her friends are there and the larger dogs scare her.We feel our dog is safe, happy and loved at this business as everyone weve met who works there takes a personal interest in the dogs. We are so happy we found Camp Canine! -
