Here are some pictures of my pup after a groom with Aki! We love Aki so much, she’s very kind and amazing at what she does. My pup who’s anxious around most people loves to come get her grooms and is always feeling her best afterwards. I could not recommend a better groomer than Aki. My dog’s best grooms have been from her, she’s the best of the best!

Aki is absolutely fabulous with my dog, Harvey!She uses Japanese grooming techniques that take Harvey’s look to the next level. From the very first session, she’s been incredibly gentle, attentive, and skilled. Harvey always leaves looking fantastic and feeling relaxed, which says a lot considering how fussy he can be. Aki knows exactly how to handle him with care and expertise. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to groom him—she’s truly one of a kind! If you’re looking for a groomer who genuinely cares about your dog’s well-being and appearance, Aki is the one to go to!

Our Shih Tzu, Macie loves coming to Aki @ Myoneandonlyny for all grooming services. This shop is so cute and clean. Aki only takes one dog at a time so Macie had no time to sit and shake with anxiety! Look no further for excellent grooming care

I live next to this cute little doggy salon and after a weekend of traveling I didn’t feel like giving my pup a bath (and he needed his nail and paw pads trimmed). So, I decided to pop in to ask if she had some time that day for a bath and luckily she did! She did a fantastic job giving my pup a bath and making his hair look so nice after!

Absolutely amazing experience! I have a nervous rescue who hates baths and is anxious around new people. She instantly warmed up to Aki, who was so gentle and patient with her. Aki even made sure to bring out her favorite treats.We used the self-service bath. It took us under 10 minutes to bathe our 25lb dog. Every little detail was thought out, from clean towels to shedding gloves and even cotton balls to clean her ears after. Reserving a spot was super easy online. The facility was spotless and Aki kindly walked us through how to use everything since it was our first time.I cannot say enough good things about Aki and this place!!My dog even tried to enter after hours, during her night walk because she had such a good time being showered with love and treats!

Wonderful experience with My One and Only! My corgi was injured and since then has a hard time at the groomer - Aki was incredible with him and he looks amazing. Also, she was the first groomer to not shave him (which isn’t good for his long coat) but actually take her time to deshed and scissor cut him by hand. He looks and feels so much better! Will definitely be back!

Aki groomed both of my senior dogs, Fry and Leela, for many years, and always did an amazing job. They have since passed away, but if we get new dogs, we will definitely only go to Aki. She’s the best, and so gentle and kind.

We recently took our 95-pound Doberman Husky mix, Ryu, to my one and only for grooming, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! Aki took such great care of Ryu, making sure he felt comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire process. The grooming results were fantastic—Ryu looks great!Akis attention to detail and genuine love for dogs really shines through. We will definitely be returning for future grooming sessions.

This was the greatest experience! My dog, Scout, a 4 year old Beagle/Australian Cattle Dog mix is not a fan of getting wet. He loved his time being pampered and cleaned at My One and Only. I was given incredible support and assistance (heck, I was helping more than leading!) in Scouts self wash. He strutted out smelling great and looking sharp and fresh! We will 100% be back - what a great spot!!

We love Aki and have followed her to her own store. She is very gentle and sweet with our anxious dog. Her cuts are even and he comes out looking like a movie star.

We took our St. Bernard Otis here and Aki did an absolutely amazing job with him. A very reasonable price given the other options on the UES and Aki was great to work with and got Otis in quickly. We will 100% be returning!
