We have taken our persian kitten here a couple of times for nail trims and full grooming. Always happy with the results and our cat loves the pampering they give her. Prices are reasonable.Top tip- if you cant get through by phone, you can text them.

Amazing groomer ran by a bunch of dog whisperers. I took my puppy there when he first came to me and they were able to get him comfortable with grooming even when he was being the world’s biggest baby 😂 They let the dogs free roam while getting groomed so my puppy loves going there. My pup always looks so handsome when he comes back from Groomingdales!

I recently started taking my dog Winnie to Groomingdales on the Upper East Side, following a recommendation from my mom who used to take our family dog, Seger, there. From the very first visit, the experience has been nothing short of outstanding.What stood out immediately was Marianne’s remarkable memory and attention to detail. She not only remembered Seger from years ago, but she also extended the same warmth and exceptional care to Winnie. It’s rare to find a groomer who not only excels in their skill but also shows genuine love and understanding towards the animals.The grooming services at Groomingdales are top-notch. Winnie came back looking adorable, well-groomed, and happy. The staff’s professionalism, coupled with their evident passion for animals, makes this place a gem in the neighborhood.It’s comforting to know that when I leave Winnie in their hands, she’s not just being groomed but is also receiving care from people who treat her like their own. Groomingdales has certainly earned my trust and a loyal customer in me. Everyone who works here is welcoming and knowledgeable. Our dog loves to stop by for a treat even when he doesn’t have a grooming appointment. Highly recommend this groomer!

I have an 18 week French Bulldog pup who loves to bite the nail clippers I bought for him, making it impossible to trim his nails.I came to Groomingdales, and they cut his nails like it was a piece of cake! And did a really thorough ear cleaning. I was in and out within 10 minutes.This was so much easier than I anticipated, and the 2 lovely people (I believe the owners but didn’t catch their names) who took care of my little Rufus were so kind.Thanks so much, happy to have found you and will be back for his monthly maintenance!

I truly love this groomer. They are extremely nice and professional. They always do an amazing job on my dog. My dog enjoys going to them. If you live on the Upper Eastside I would strongly recommend going to them.

Moved to the UES nearly two years ago. Other dog owners recommended Groomingdales to me for my Westie, Molly. The staff at Groomingdales are thoughtful, caring and talented! Molly is nearly 12 years and has never looked so good....I especially love that Groomingdales does not crate her. She used to shake and get anxious on her way into her previous groomer. Never again! Molly deserves the best and I will only take her to Groomingdales going forward!!

I love Groomingdales. I have used them for 2 years for my toy poodle. And poodles are one of the biggest grooming challenges. Owner is very pleasant. And, keeps a database of your preferences for the visits.

We recently moved to the upper east side of Manhattan with our three year old nine pound poodle. Naturally we asked at the local vet, the local pet supply store etc. and everyone recommended Groomingdales. We made an appointment for the next day and our dog came out looking the most beautiful we have ever seen her. If you live on the upper east side, or anywhere else close by, check this place out. Oh by the way we got a 10% discount for first time appointments too!
