Pet Story is like Whole Foods for Pets! My dog was so happy coming in here. She loved the dehydrated healthy treats, which I’m told gets replenished weekly! We will definitely be back. I love how clean and organized it is in here. And how friendly, communicative and helpful Howard (the owner) is. We are so happy for this wonderful addition to the neighborhood.

Best pet store Ive been to in Manhattan. Such a wide, quality array of items at a fair price. They have loads of goodies Ive ever seen before too! They also offer half off your first grooming. Worth the trek over there! Richard loves his new coat

Really so blown away by this new small business in our neighborhood. Everyone is so wonderful who works here and really gave Linus VIP treatment. Along with an amazing assortment of treats that are made in-house, at such affordable prices. Linus was the most satisfied customer!

Just got my dog groomed here and they did an absolutely fantastic job. He looked amazing and he had really warmed up to the groomer which is rare because he can be a bit shy. it’s clear Clara did a great job making him comfortable. They even got him ready for Halloween. It was also cheaper than any other local grooming spot. My dog is also obsessed with all the treats we’ve gotten from here. This is a welcome addition to the neighborhood and we will be back.

Pet Story is a great addition to the neighborhood! Howard and all the staff are welcoming, know my dog by name, always give her an extra treat, and check to see how she (and I) are doing, even helping me gauge how she is recovery from surgery. They have everything you expect a pet store to have. Our favorites are high quality, natural treats and food, with plenty of options to try new things. Everything is reasonably priced; Id say it rivals online pricing, and if its slightly higher, the convenience of having them in the neighborhood is definitely worth the extra dollar or so.

We visited Pet Story this week and found them to have a wide variety of treats and all things “pet.” Our dog was with us and he enjoyed all the good smells! It was a fun experience with helpful, friendly staff. I recommend you visit for your pet needs. Great to have this neighborhood resource!

Great place to get dogs groomed, and get them a treat. Took our Labrador there today for a bath and spa day. She loved it and looks great. The staff is super nice and neighborly, too!

Beyond thrilled Pet Story is in the neighborhood. The store is super clean, has so many toy, food and fresh treat options and the owners are so welcoming and kind. I also got my frenchie Pedro bathed and groomed and he came out clean and looking great!! I love coming here and it’s my dogs favorite spot.

My dog and I have made a number of purchases at Pet Story since her homing sense magically got us there the first time a few months ago! Everyone is super kind and helpful. Yesterday we had her groomed there for the first time, and Clara did a terrific job!

Pet story is probably the most professional groomers that I’ve ever been to. I had to provide vaccination information. They would send me text on a very regular basis making sure that I was coming and if not, they would get back to me. They wanted to know my dogs complete medical history They discussed how he would be groomed and wanted to be very upfront about how he would look. The dog also didn’t go through the trauma that he usually does when he’s groomed

My dog loves going to Toy Story. The staff takes great care of her. They’re detailed oriented and ensured Lennie was groomed according to my expectations. They sent photos and texted me right when Lennie was finished - and she looked incredible and was super soft and smelled amazing after her haircut

Such a good store & THE BEST groomer ever - so kind, thorough, attentive, clean. i love the open concept and the most amazing part is NO CAGES! you can see the dogs the entire time & when they’re done they lounge on fluffy dog beds. we will definitely go back.

I’ve been shopping here for months now, and the service is never short of exceptional. The store is kept extremely clean, the prices are reasonable (which is a rarity in the pet store space) and the inventory is excellent. If you live in the vicinity, it is absolutely worth the extra few blocks rather than getting price gouged by the other area stores.

Pet Story-Riverside is great! They have such a wide selection and amazing customer service. They prepare all of the dehydrated treats themselves and their offers are all delicious and healthy (for dogs). My dogs can be picky sometimes but they loved what Pet Story makes. We will definitely stop by again!

Such an incredible family owned business. Howard, Daemon and team are very professional but also extremely friendly. They were very generous in giving our pup Monty treats and even gave samples to bring home several times!Monty is usually scared of the groomer but he was visibly happy when I picked him up today from our first grooming visit at Pet Story.I highly recommend bringing your dog to Pet Story for their grooming services!

This place is such a delight. It’s spotless, the owners are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, the selection of foods, especially the ones they make themselves, are unlike anything I’ve seen anywhere — and we’ve got lots of upscale pet shops in our neighborhood. They also did great job clipping our dog’s nails and are the only grooming place that has ever asked for our dog’s vaccination records. I was completely impressed and will be back.

Welcome Pet Story! We are obsessed with this pawesome addition to our already pet-friendly neighborhood on Riverside Park South. Everything is bright and clean - we especially love that the dogs can pick out their own treats, including jerkey, baked goods and lots of interesting munchies. Their grooming stations look amazing, you can peek in through the windows on the street. Friendly staff and great prices round out this new gem!

We couldn’t be happier that PetStory has expanded to the UWS! We used to drive all the way to Mineola just to pick up their treats.Nougie had an amazing haircut with her groomer, Jenny. We checked in every so often, and Nougie looked calm and relaxed the entire time—a true testament to the caring and attentive environment at PetStory. It was especially heartwarming to see her curled up in a cozy donut bed after her grooming session, happily watching Jenny take care of the next pup. Positive vibes all around!Proud to say we’re lifetime customers!

Everyone inside is very kind. Took my dog in on the spot after I told them I have a very hard time cutting my dogs nails at home and they did it with perfection. My dog was very calm and happy the whole time, which in the past is a very hard time for him. Will definitely be coming back often.

Loved the choices, the service and the prices.The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because my Doberman and I inadvertently went to the wrong door and it was locked. There was an employee there that saw us as I tried to ask when they open or was I at the correct door. She looked up, saw us and completely ignored us. Later when in the store, I again saw her and she completely ignored us. Anyway, try the store. I’m going again tomorrow and may change my rating to a 5.

What a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. The people at Pet Story are so lovely. I didnt know which of their terrific, one ingredient treats my dog would like so they let her try a lot until we figured out which ones were her favorite.
