    I have been struggling for a year now to find a good groomer in the area. Sandys was AMAZING - we finally found our match! They were so friendly and attentive, really listened to what I wanted done, & Henry looks absolutely amazing with his summer cut. They definitely knew how to tame his mop (before and after pictures for reference). The pricing was extremely reasonable as well. A very happy new customer!

    They do an absolutely fantastic job with my golden retriever. Her ears perfectly cleaned and combed through any matted fur, nails trimmed and softened, fur all cleaned up in specific areas. Really well priced. Have gone here exclusively for the past 5 years

    Amazing experience! They did an exceptional job with my very difficult dog. Their team was incredibly patient and compassionate, managing to groom him to perfection. I was amazed at how calm and happy my dog was during and after the session. Highly recommend!

    Sandy’s and her staff are welcoming and amazing. Lola is a fluffy energetic English cocker spaniel, it’s the third time we are getting groomed there and we’re very satisfied. I love that they treat your pup like he is a part of the family, the dogs are waiting in a yard which giving an experience of a nice social spa day.

    Phenomenal experience my Ginger has never looked this great. Her had perfect proportions, great eye to detail, and she left the establishment so happy. She never does from other places. Their customer service is fantastic and Sandy herself is a gem. She was so happy to speak about her Lovely Pets and you can feel the warmth in her store. I will definitely be taking my Ginger back! Added a before and two after pics. Not the best but Ginger felt so light afterwards in this heat.

    I have been going to Sandys for over a year now for our Goldendoodles grooming and can honestly say they are one of the best groomers in the neighborhood. They are lovely to deal with and the best part is that my dog comes back happy! :)

    Today I brought my Bichon Benji to be groomed. Although he is a pure bred Bichon, he doesnt look exactly like most. Every other grooming place I have taken him has told me that its not possible to achieve the Bichon look on Benji, but Sandys Doggie & Kitty Spa nailed it! Benji is 3 years old and this is the first time Ive ever left a groomer thinking my dog looks like a true Bichon! They did a phenomenal job!

    I took my Persian cat to Sandy when he was dangerously matted. I had to wait because most of the city was shut down. I asked Sandy to only shave the necessary parts, even if it left my cat looking weird. She did a phenomenal job and my little guy looked cute! I’ll be taking him in again this week! They are the best... professional, kind and efficient. I live downtown and trek up there because I love their services!

    We had a great experience at Sandys and our puppy received a wonderful cut. She seemed to have a good time and came home happy. Appointments book out a bit which is another sign that this place knows what theyre doing! Were definitely going back to Sandys.

    I took my dog here for grooming for the first time today. Everyone was so friendly! My dog looks exactly as I requested and he was ready to go within the expected time frame provided by the owner. A little pricey compared to when I’ve lived outside the city but I expected that. They also have daycare and overnight boarding which I inquired about and it sounds great. I will definitely be returning.

    Sandy Dog and Kitty Spa is the place to go to take your pet. She is great on prices and does a wonderful job. Very nice person Sandy. She has been their for a very long time.     We having been bringing our mini goldendoodle Charlie to Sandy’s for almost two years- every single time we bring him he’s a matted mess and they truly take incredible care of him, they trim him perfectly and he just looks adorable! They take their time and brush out the matts. I’m so impressed every time! Highly recommend!!

    Sandy has been grooming my bichon for over 10 years. Her spa is terrific! The staff is kind and knowledgeable. Capote is always well-groomed. For 10 years I’ve had only positive experiences at Sandy’s!

    Been coming to Sandys for a while since they were around the corner from me. Ive since moved neighborhoods and still walk my dogs down because the friendly staff, they do a good job, its familiar to my dogs, and they are competitively priced.

    I got my cats nails trimmed, and they did a great job and were quick! They were very thoughtful of her being afraid, so they kept her away from the other animals. They also made sure the front door was locked to ensure her safety. Ill go back again.

    My pup hates baths, he runs from everyplace I take him to, but at Sandys I know he is well taken care of. He still hates his bath but he knows he is in good hands with people that care about him and that means the world to both of us. Last year I had to leave him with a sitter that neglected him so badly I didnt even recognize him when I picked him up. In just two weeks he was kept caged up, he got a bad skin infection, a urinary tract infection and an eye infection. I was moved to tears when I saw him. I knocked on Sandys door on her only day off, and with out hesitation she left her apartment came to the shop and took care of him herself. That was beyond the call of duty I will forever be grateful to Sandy. She and her staff are the real deal everyday of the week.

    This place is the best! My dog, who has a pretty good case of separation anxiety, loves coming here for daycare and boarding, and is always exhausted when he comes home. Can’t say enough good things about Sandy’s!

    Great family feel type of place. Been around for ages at this point and with good reason. I cant speak on the boarding services because I havent used them myself but the grooming service was great. My Maltese went from a little white grizzly bear to a sweet little young lamb lol (see before and after below)She was happy to be picked up but didnt seem distressed; she was all smiles. Prices are extremely reasonable.

    I have two delightful small dogs, and I’m truly impressed with the exceptional care they receive! My 15-year-old dog, who has heart issues, has been treated with incredible caution and compassion. After a long day at the groomer, he doesnt just look great for his age—hes full of joy! No ear infections or cuts to worry about, just happiness! I wholeheartedly recommend their services. In fact, Upper East Side Veterinarians also sing their praises! 🥰😍 Just a heads-up: while they provide outstanding care, the grooming can be a bit pricey, but well worth it!

    I love Sandys. The haircuts are great on my bernadoodle and she looks awesome when done. Sandy listens to what you want, how much you want off and does exactly that.
