    I have been coming to Unleashed Spa for 6 years and it has been the best experience. Shannon has been grooming my dog Prince for 6 years every 6 to 7 weeks. She does a phenomenal job and handles him with Love and care. He adores and trusts her. We love unleashed spa 😍

    10/10 Highly Recommend!!! Can’t share enough love for this place ❤️. I’ve been taking my Cavapoo, Obi, there for almost two years (since he was a young puppy) and he always leaves strutting his stuff. All of the groomers care and listen to your guidance, so you don’t need to worry if it’s your first time there. One time I had feedback (I know), and they are totally open to fixing or changing something if they can. They all are truly talented and it shows! We’ve gone to many of them, but I gotta shout out the best groomer I’ve ever had, Porschia (IG: @Porschia-cox) because she is just wonderful and always does a stellar job. The place is clean and they keep the animals happy; Obi literally pulls me in when he figures out where we’re going! Worth every penny - I mean just take a look at this guy and see for yourself!Note: I asked for a teddy bear cut, not a traditional Cavapoo look!

    Unleashed is our favorite! They always take great care of Daisy. She always comes back looking as cute as a button. The staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a caring and professional groomer in the area!

    Finally got some good photos of my pups to post! Ive previously given 5 stars on Yelp for Hans birthday grooms, this 5 is for his summer groom and some puppy nails. Weve been seeing him at Unleashed for years and he always does exactly what I ask for, and my nervous little boy is happy at pickup. With it so hot I asked to go a lot shorter than usual but didnt want to lose Lucas mane or waterfall tail and Han blended it all together beautifully. (Note the patch on his front leg is from a dental surgery, not a grooming mistake!)He was also able to dremel my new puppys nails effortlessly, after both I and his vet failed to clip them without puppy panic. Whenever someone asks me to recommend a groomer for nervous pups, I tell them to call Unleashed and ask for Han! Thank you!!(The new reception guy is also wonderful and charmed both my boys, sorry I didnt get your name!)

    I’ve been taking my dog Kenzo to Unleashed Spa for almost two years, and I can’t recommend them enough! The staff is so friendly and clearly loves what they do. He always comes home looking adorable, feeling happy, and smelling amazing. It’s such a relief knowing he’s in great hands with people who genuinely care. If you’re looking for a grooming spot where your pup will be treated like family, this is it!

    We have been bringing our dogs for a long time to Unleashed. Always great and super friendly service and our dogs love their spa visit. Samantha takes care of our little poodle mix, and handles all our requests (special shampoo), and our little pup looks amazing every time. Highly recommended!

    Marco did an absolutely amazing job grooming my Goldendoodle, Chloe! From the moment we walked in, Marco was so friendly and made both of us feel completely at ease. Chloe can be a bit nervous around new people, but Marcos gentle touch and calm demeanor won her over instantly.Ive been taking Chloe to Marco for over a year now, and he always listens to everything I want for her grooming and nails it perfectly. Her coat looks fantastic, and she smells incredible! Marco even gives me great tips on how to keep her looking good between visits.What really impressed me was how happy and relaxed Chloe was during and after the grooming. Its clear that Marco genuinely cares about the pets he works with and wants them to have a positive experience.I cant recommend Marco enough if youre looking for a groomer who really goes the extra mile. Chloe and I will definitely keep coming back!

    This place Unleashed Spa Grooming is an amazing place with amazing groomers, and a beautiful sympathetic owner. I went there to have the nails of my 2 dogs trim. Instead Marco a wonderful human took it upon himself to groom my shihzu face, this dog attacks anyone who tries to touch his face. I was amazed when he brought him out with a beautiful face. I asked him if he tried to bite him and he said no, AMAZING! I cant stress it enough. This dog bites everyone that tried. I wish I could give it 10 stars. Thank you Marco and Unleashed Spa😍07/30/2024Since my first review, and because Toby aka Cujo loves Marco and 💯 didnt bite him in which Im still in shock, I brought him back to be fully groomed and I am so happy I did.     Took my mini goldendoodle and was extremely disappointed with the results. The the owner saw that I was upset and made the situation much better by offering to help out. She genuinely cared about my satisfaction. Tried a different groomer named Marco the second time and he did a great job! Great customer service!

    This review is longgggg overdue!!! We have followed Tatiana for almost my dogs whole life, wherever she goes, my dog goes. The salon is super friendly and good looking dogs become even more good looking. She’s also literally the only groomer that doesn’t touch my dogs eyelash

    We love Unleashed and all of their groomers! We’ve been bringing our dog here for at least 4 years and he always comes home happy and handsome! Unleashed takes such great care of him and I cannot recommend them enough for anyone looking for expert grooming with love and attention.

    We’ve taken our 11yr old mini schnauzer here to be groomed by Han every 8-10weeks since he was 5mos old. We love Han & Unleashed. Our pup always looks like a show dog, people stop us on the street to ask about his haircut. I highly recommend Unleashed.

    Marina is our go-to groomer here! She always executes our very specific requests so perfectly while also providing her expertise and advice, making sure my pup not only looks great but feels safe, comfortable, and happy too! While some other groomers require weeks or even months booking ahead, I’m often able to make last minute bookings here too (not to mention, Boris and Horton dog cafe is right around the corner and great place to wait or head to after)

    One of the best cuts my dog has gotten in a while. I felt that they were a bit pricy, about 3 times what I pay for mine, but it is New York City and I suppose that is to be expected. I didn’t think to take a picture of the entrance but it just a window and a door on the west side of Ave B as you walk from 14th St. there is a rather nice cafe if you go along further south to the corner where you can get a taste bite and drink while you wait. Only two caveat, one they didn’t use a shampoo or perfume that left a nice smell since he is a very snuggly boy and two you can not add the tip on the credit card.

    I take my cat to Unleashed about every four months to see the Groomer Han. My cat does a full groom with ears cleaned, teeth brushed, nails cut, fur cleaned and hair trimmed down which takes care of the shedding issue. Han always does an amazing job and my cat is always so chill when I pick him up. I highly recommend Unleashed & Han specifically 😻

    I’ve been going to Unleashed for the past 4 years and always ask for Shannon who handles my typically difficult Shitzu mix perfectly without any dog drama or biting , and does a great grooming job as well! Highly recommend Shannon!

    I love my cat, but shes been through a lot prior to adopting her. The last thing she needs is the stress of me trying to trim her nails. This is one job where a pro should do it right. Taking her to a place that is a blink away from home is worth a few extra dollars to minimize her stress too.Now, if anyone is going to get a fancy facial, itll be this human. Ill keep the cat bath/facial package in mind if she gets herself into some naughty mess, but at $150 at time... whooo, I hope one day theyll have a basic rinse option instead for those of us on a tight budget. But I was super happy that Unleashed offered walk-ins for just nail trims that is just a touch over $30 with tax, far more reasonable given the task. Just be sure to call before you go to ensure they have a cat groomer on hand, and come somewhere between 15 -45 minutes after the hour to avoid appointment crowds (and sweet poochies).The front desk staff was very nice, and in just a few minutes, my cat was back in her carrier and ready to go home. Way faster, and way safer than if Id tried. Now my cat can play safely and not get stuck like Velcro to fabric - they did a better job than the original vets did. I plan to bring her in about every 9 weeks to keep her in good shape.

    I took my cat to Unleashed spa last week. Usually would take my cat to the vet to be groomed, but a friend recommend Unleashed. Glad I did! Not only was the price much less than going to the vet as I previously would take him. But my cat looked much more styled than having him just shaved at the vet. We live in Jersey and it was totally worth the trip! Love the little booties and mane! Han was the best groomer! He was patient and gentle with our four legged baby and any anxiety I had about having someone new grooming our cat completely disappeared. Thanks again, Unleashed and Han! We will definitely be back!

    Omg, this place is amazing. I mostly check out the reviews of a place, product or event before deciding and sometimes I take a chance because of mixed reviews. Well before I could get to any mixed reviews, I took a chance on the positive ones and made an appointment for the following day with Carolina, (who i found to be very people oriented). I met Kim at the door whose a beautiful free spirited lady and Samantha whose a phenomenal groomer. Believe me, the positive reviews are right on point. The prices are great and the time is not long as another reviewer stated. These are the kind of people you want to care for your furbabies. We will definitely be coming back!👍👍

    Bali LOVES her spa days with Han!! We’ve been coming to Unleashed for almost 4 years now. This place is a gem, even though we’ve moved way downtown, I still trek up here because they’re that good (trust me I’ve tried a bunch of other places in the city).     I would give this place 10 STARS. Sage & I were fed up with every UWS grooming experience ~ and paying top grooming prices for missing clipping nails, unclipped tail, shaved eyelashes causing a ingrown hair in his eye line.. and the icing on the cake an infected tush gland. A week post tush recovery we went in search of the best Groomer in lower Manhattan and settled on HANN at Unleashed based on other anxious fur parents with special needs for a soft -touch with sensitivities. We were BLOWN AWAY with the results and how sweet and kind *were talking genuine kindness not shop etiquette* everyone was.     Very pleased with the service they provided! Friendly and accommodating and skilled staff! My puppy was excited to go in for her first cut and when we picked her up, it seemed that she had enjoyed the experience! Definitely making her a regular here!     While somewhat nervously waiting for my dearest Billie to be made beautiful once again I watched in amazement as dogs happily entered the grooming parlor giving me a pause as this is highly unexpected and yet this is what I observed : one happy dog wagging its tail greeted friendly with staff to the next. TheEntire team is wonderful and always always so fun to chat with…. Whatever magical dog fantasy land that is beyond the white curtain into the grooming station I will never know, but it must be magical.

    We absolutely LOVED our pup’s haircut he got here today! They saw us on short notice and were super timely/communicative/kind. Samantha was our groomer and she cut Camper’s hair today to 1/2 inch length. She advised us on the cut and listened to exactly what we were hoping for and made it even better. She is awesome and the cut is perfect for this summer heat. Camper left happy and will definitely be coming back :)

    I bring my dogs all the way from Brooklyn to Unleashed because I absolutely love this place! Kim and the rest of the team are so sweet and knowledgeable when it came to taking care of my fur babies. She was also able to work with me and squeeze me in at short notice, when I found myself in a pickle with my last groomer. She also has really cute toys and outfits for dogs up in the front at a reasonable price.

    Ive been bringing my Westie Luna here since we brought her home as a puppy, so 6 years! I always ask for a shorter version of a Westie face and a puppy cut for her body. I also have several friends who bring their Westies to see Marco for the traditional Westie cut. Marco is always so sweet to Luna and she loves going to see him. She actually pulls on her leash as were nearing their door. Cant recommend them enough!

    Dana made my samoyed’s coat perfect again!! I’ve had a really hard time finding an understanding and thorough groomer in NYC for my samoyed. Unleashed has been by far the best that I’ve taken him to. They were incredibly understanding and worked on him until he had no more knots in his fur, which is more than any other groomer has done for me in the city. I told them that I don’t want him to be cut at all and they listened to me. Again, that’s more than any other groomer has done for me in the city! They were extremely professional, seasoned, and most of all, kind to me and my dog.

    Boutique salon with experienced staff! My sweet maltipoo baby Sparky looks much nicer when his face is slightly less shaved than typical poodle face and Shannon has never disappointed us since our very first visit! Body is always nicely groomed with a cute little face that is just the way we communicated. Definitely would recommend any pawparent who has tried (and are probably tired of) major chain stores.

    Just took my 8lb pom to be groomed at this place which I go to regularly and I can tell you that I am really satisfied with the groomer Michelle.     Circling back to say that Unleashed Spa, not only resolved the issues, but did so quickly and kindly. After speaking with Kim, I feel like I will 100 percent be giving this groomer another shot. Everyone I spoke to was so kind and genuine, and I was reassured that service like that would not happen again.PREVIOUS REVIEW*I am not happy with the services my dog received from this groomer. He was matted around the problem areas like his ears and his armpits and paws. I asked to have his body/legs shaved down as well as his ears but specifically asked them NOT to shave his head or cut his eyelashes. I even showed them a picture of my favorite cut on him so that there would be no confusion. As you can see in my photos, they did not listen. The groomer completely ignored my requests and upon further examination knicked my poor boy a couple times..the ears are extremely irritated and also have knicks in them which is terrible because he’s already on medication for an infection. All of this would be expected from a cheap groomer, however these services were not cheap (300 plus tip). I should have walked out when they wanted to charge me a 40 dollar “handling” fee BEFORE they even knew how my dog would react. FYI he’s never had any issues at any other groomers. This place is an absolute scam and dangerous, we will NOT be returning. 2 stars because the front desk lady was actually very nice, even though it was probably fake.*

    Took my mini-Aussie Apollo here for the first time this morning. Incredibly friendly and professional staff. Very detail-oriented in making sure Apollo got the best groom!Apollo can be a bit loud at times, and the staff was so pleasant. Front desk (apologies I didnt catch your name!) lightheartedly reassured me saying I like to think of it as the dog practicing for his opera debut.Apollo looks dapper. His go to groomer, Marco, is a warm person and I’m sure treats The Cros with the utmost kindness and care. Thanks Marco!     Just took my 2lb 16 week old puppy here for the first time. It was her first time getting groommed. Kim the owner was so kind, and the groomer, Karina was so gentle, patient, and lovely.Im happy that they eased my dog into grooming-- I asked for a particular cut and they were transparent saying if my puppy was too scared theyd trim her just a bit instead of traumatizing her for the first time by doing the short cut I requested.     I love them so much! The staff is so gentle and caring with the animals, I bring my long haired black cat here as well as my cream colored Frenchie puppy and each time they come back looking amazing and smelling great! I recently had a bit of a misunderstanding there and I would like everyone to know how hard the owner (Kim) worked to fix the situation. I really appreciated the fact that she went out of her way to make sure everything was right. She really does care about her business and about her customers.     The Team at Unleashed Spa were professional and efficient. As you can see we have a large dog with a double coat. The trim and wash were done correctly and our dog was dry when we picked her up. I did appreciate the one on one attention paid to our paw child. Some places it take 4 hours to wash, unleashed returned our dog within 2 hours. Coat was soft and smooth as well. High Paw to Unleashed Spa....

    Nice staff up front and the groomers seem like they actually like dogs. We’re crazy dog parents and our little one always comes back happy and well groomed.     This place is the absolute best! Best prices available and best haircut our Havanese has had so far. We’ll be requesting Maryanne again. We’re glad to have found our spot and we won’t go anywhere else. After failed haircuts at higher prices around Manhattan and even out of state, it’s nice to finally have Unleashed Spa. Staff is kind and efficient. Worth the trip to the east side, no doubt.

    Reliable place with great service. Haan is our favorite groomer. Usually takes 2hr. Prices went up after pandemic but its understandable. Its out of our way but worth it. W tried couple of other places but found Unleashed to be the best so far and wouldnt want to experiment anymore.

    We’ve been taking our dog to Unleashed since we moved to the area in 2021. They have been consistent in their prices, they care about the dogs and go the extra mile to make sure owners are happy with the grooms! Watson has looked fabulous every time - even when we found out our regular groomer (Samantha) left the business, the Unleashed team made sure we were happy with Manny’s work, and her excitement to work with us made us feel so comfortable! Would recommend Unleashed to new pet parents.

    I live in Jersey but had found this place for a friend who had just moved to the city. As the other reviews have already mentioned this place is amazing. My friends dog came out super relaxed and happy and the haircut was beyond adorable. So I decided to take my little guy there too and now Ive officially switched which means long drive from Jersey into the city but its honestly worth it. My dog is not good with new ppl but came out soooo relaxed and looked sooo cute. Plus they had appointments available the same week whereas my regular groomer was unavailable for a month out. Great place you and your little guy or girl will not be disappointed.

    I have been coming to unleashed pet spa & grooming for a little over 2 years and can not recommend them enough! Shannon, my pup’s groomer, is absolutely fabulous. i’m pretty particular with my pup, only using humane and positive training techniques (e.g., heartfelt communication) versus traditional dog training techniques that rely heavily on dominance training (e.g., punishment-based training), and want everyone who interacts with my dog to do the same. Shannon is SO gentle with my pup, treats her with patience and kindness, always provides the correct services for her, and always does a great job. i feel extremely safe leaving my pup in her care. also, the person who answers the phone most of the time (who i believe is the manager/owner) is the amazing as well, always accommodating me and my pup. i love unleashed pet spa & grooming so much that i continue to visit this location, and Shannon in particular, even after i moved out of the neighborhood because she’s just that great; i know my dog will always be safe and get the best care with her. thanks unleashed pet spa & grooming and Shannon!

    Brought my Aussie puppy Millie here for the self service wash station! Got to meet the owner Kim, who was super sweet and very informative! I didn’t get Millie groomed but from what I can tell they would do a good job no matter what :)Also if your dog is a shaker and you’re concerned about getting wet, don’t be! They not only have tons of different scented soaps, useful brushes and a blow dryer but they also have a neat little waterproof apron to wear as well!     Took my 4yr old chow chow there for the 1st time. Hes a rescue n Ive only had him for 4 mos. While he is great with me, I was a bit concerned how hed act at the groomers n also if they really knew how to groom a chow. Well, let me tell you, the young lady that took him inside was quite confident that shed be able to handle him yet, I was still a bit concerned. I finally got the call that Loki was ready...she came out with him and he looked amazing!! He was deshedded n I could actually run my fingers thru his now silky, shiny black hair.     I took the cat here to get a summer shave, they were friendly and very thorough, and had everything finished in 45 minutes! When we picked him up he was purring in his carrier with a smart little bandana around his neck.Everywhere else Ive called has charged extra for long hair cats, extra to do the nails, and extra if the fur is matted. Unleashed spa has a single price for all cats with a groomer available every day except monday, and they were cheaper at $100 than a chain store like pet smart!

    I absolutely love this place. Ive been taking my shih tzu there ever since I bought her as a puppy. The people are friendly and the prices are reasonable for being in NYC, Only once had one bad experience but things happen and she turned out to be okay, just a minor stratch/cut under her eye.     Ive been taking my dog Callie to Unleashed for almost 10 years now, and Ive never had anything less than a fantastic experience. The owner, Kim, genuinely cares about her customers (and more importantly, our pets) and you get the sense that youre in good hands as soon as you walk in the front door. Christine is my go-to groomer! Shes always happy to see Callie and always knows how to make her look good! But Im never worried if shes not available since all groomers here are incredibly good at what they do.More than any of that, Im one of those people that is hyper-aware of how my dog is acting. If I get the sense that shes not happy, then Im not happy. Every single time I pick her up after a grooming, Callie has a gigantic smile on her face and couldn’t be happier- and that is the kind of thing that tells you everything you need to know about a business that deals with our pets.If youre new to the neighborhood (or just shopping around for a new groomers in general) and are trying to find a place that will give your dog the same level of care and attention that you would, then Unleashed is the place youre looking for hands down.

    Hands down the #1 dog grooming spot in all of NY. Weve moved around the city and tried all kind of groomers, but its become clear that Unleashed groomers are unparalleled.The team is kind and accommodating, highly professional and well versed in all haircut styles. Our pups are obsessed with them.

    I have been going to Unleashed since adopting my dog Sonny 16 months ago. There is no where else I would go! I moved from the east side to the west and still come back to Avenue B and 13th because they are that good. Kim and her excellent team of groomers are the kindest and most efficient group I have had the pleasure to work with. My dog is dramatic and doesn’t love getting groomed but they are so patient and loving and she comes out so clean and refreshed everytime. They treat the dogs like they are their own and truly seem to love what they do. I can’t recommend them enough!

    Staff is always pleasant and lots of availability for appointments. My dog seems pretty happy walking out of this place :) and he always looks dapper as ever. The groomers are highly talented and patient.

    Great spot to get your dog cleaned up and cut! Staff are really friendly and take care of you dog nicely. My dog, Boe, always comes out wagging his tail, looking great, and smelling nice.
