I took my dog to Urban Woof when living on the UES. We then moved to midtown and have yet to find a better spot. I still take him all the way up town for grooming and boarding. You can’t beat the price and quality. Perfect grooming every time. Highly recommend

I cannot speak highly enough of Urban Woof and the staff at the Doggie Day Care. On mornings when I need to drop my puppy off I sometimes get theyre before 7am before they open and they will often take my puppy in early. Im always happy to see that séamus is often too eager to get in the door to play.Whenever I pick him up he is still a excited as when I spotted him off so he clearly had a great day there with them. When we get home, he just drops and I get a quiet evening (well until maybe be till 9 and he perks up again 😅). I dont know what they do with the puppies that are theyre on a full day for care but whatever it is it work as my puppy is both happy and exhausted when he gets home.This then brings me to the staff at urban woof, they are always full of smiles and courteous when I drop him off and pick him up so I want to thank them for the level of professionalism they show each and every day.I will not be changing my puppy care from urban woof any time soon.

Highly recommend!! I was nervous about finding the right place to bring my 8 month old puppy for his first cut and I’m so happy I went with Urban Woof. The check in process was easy, staff was friendly, and best of all — our pup looks absolutely adorable!! He hates when we give him baths at home, so I was expecting him to be on edge when I picked him up, but he was smiling ear to ear. Thank you Urban Woof! We’ll be back :)

My pup Story has been going to Urban Woof since he was only a puppy. He is an excitable little bundle of energy and I can’t imagine what I would do without Urban Woof in my corner. Marcos and Sylvia are beyond amazing and the staff that they have chosen are also fantastic. I have never had to worry about my pup ever since I found urban woof. I use Urban Woof for day care about 3X a week for my puppy Molly while I am working. I have had a such an amazing experience with them. Ive been going for about 2 months now and I see it becoming a necessary part of our routine now. It is always nice to see a familiar face there and my puppy jumps right on in now in the morning and is exhausted from all the fun when we get back! I love that they have early drop off and late pick up since I work long hours and cannot leave her at home due to my sensitive neighbors. They show great attentiveness, recently my puppy wasnt feeling well and they let me know right away, that means they care. Its a great neighborhood spot, and I would recommend them to everyone! Thank you Urban Woof for the extra mile you to go to keep our babies safe.

One of the best doggie groomers in NYC! My Theodore not only looks amazing and so handsome everytime he gets groomed but the staff absolutely adore him - and vice versa! I have boarded my dog here a few times for one to two nights when I can’t find a friend or family member to watch him. I recently boarded him for eight nights. He has separation anxiety so I love that they don’t place the dogs in kennels or crates. He always walks willingly into Urban Woof, which I can’t say about all places (like the vet or his groomer). My only issue with this place is that they never return uneaten food or treats. I sent him with ten days worth of food, treats, and dental bones and they returned nothing following his eight night stay. Not the end of the world, but I do wonder how well they are keeping track of the supplies we send. He doesn’t have a big appetite, so I know a lot went uneaten.Overall, I think Urban Woof is a great place for doggy daycare and a short stay of boarding. I probably won’t board him again for an extended stay because I can’t trust how well they are tracking what he’s eating.

I cant say enough good things about Urban Woof. We have worked with them for walks, daycare and grooming for over three years and loved getting to know the owners and staff. Marcos, the owner, knows our dogs personality and temperament well and you can tell he, Silvia and the whole staff genuinely care about the wellbeing of the dogs. Its such a good feeling to see our dogs excitement to see the Urban Woof team around the neighborhood--highly recommend!

Best dog grooming facility on all of east coast. We moved away from NYC and would drive down 4 hours to get our mini golden doodle Bryson groomed here. Special shout out to Gabriel for always being so accommodating for Bryson. Believe it or not being close to urban woof was one of the main reasons that brought us back to New York.

Urban Woof is just absolutely great! My dog who previously was a little nervous around new dogs now runs and pulls his way to daycare whenever we go. It is so clear from his reaction every time he runs through the door that he loves it and I think that is a testament to the staff. The day after I brought my dog for the first time they knew my name and his name and have been great about giving updates to nervous first-time dog owners like myself. It’s so nice to have a place where I know not only my pup will be safe and cared for, but he will have a great time!

Urban Woof took such great care of our pups! They were incredibly friendly and reliable. While we were on vacation out of town they kept us updated on how things were going (Great!) -- it was wonderful not to have to worry about how well taken care of they were, in every picture they were super happy! After months of trying out different doggie day cares, I stumbled upon urban woof and they are beyond amazing.I’ve been sending my chocolate Lab, Logan to them for almost two years now and the entire team at Urban Woof is like family.They are friendly, accommodating and takes great care of all the animals. The facility is clean and inviting. The dogs get taken out on several walks a day (to Central Park) which many other day cares do not do. Logan is always excited to spend the day at daycare and always comes home happy and tired!Urban woof also offers grooming and boarding which are also both wonderful. They are your all stop doggy shop and I wouldn’t trust anywhere else with my dog.Can’t recommend them enough. Not only are they cheaper than a lot of the competition but so much better.

Why this place is the best dog daycare around:- open from 7am to 8pm (good for people who work long hours)- super friendly and helpful staff- my dog loves coming here. He runs in and is always happy when I pick him up.- they can handle big dogs and high energy dogs- there is a camera so you can watch your dog and see them playing with other dogs- price is the most competitive we found

Sylvia and her team are absolutely AMAZING, and they go truly above and beyond for the dogs they care for. My roommates and I run a side business boarding local dogs is the upper east side, and we were horrified when we were tasked with taking care of two older medium sized terriers who unfortunately had clearly not been washed or groomed properly in years. They stunk, their hair was matted, they had sores on their bodies, and they needed a thorough grooming immediately. Despite having a full day of appointments, Sylvia offered to take on the jobs at 4:30pm on a Saturday (they close at 5), thinking the work would take 3 hours. It ended up taking 7 (!!!), with us picking up the dogs that same day at midnight. My mind was BLOWN at how incredibly clean, fluffy and happy the dogs were returned to us. Urban Woof changed these dogs’ lives for the better, not for money (we were offered a discount because of the circumstances), but because this business truly cares about its clients, the dogs it cares for. I can’t properly express how grateful I am to know that there is a business like Urban Woof out there to care for our furry loved ones. Thank you, Sylvia!

We have been taking our Frenchie Luna to Urban Woof for about 9 months now and she absolutely loves it there, everyone is so friendly, willing to help and personable when they meet you. They have so many dogs that go to daycare there, not crowded at all (they just added an extension for the puppies to have more room to play). If you get a monthly package you will also have access to the webcam where you can check in on your pup throughout the day.We have other daycares near us but Urban Woof is worth the walk! Highly recommend.

The best doggy day care on the Upper East Side, you will not find a cleaner, friendlier and safer environment for your dog to hang out and play/be groomed. Marcos and Silva, the owners, are the sweetest couple who always go out of their way to help my wife and I with early and late pick-ups and v. flexible hours when we need last minute changes to our dogs boarding arrangements. Check it out, our friends love it too.

This location is a gem. Truly. The esthetics alone are enough to make you feel at ease. Vibrant & inviting. The center is spacious with dedicated rooms to allow dogs to have a peaceful, yet fun time while away. I went for my first grooming and was blown away. The staff is extremely nice for one, very accommodating, and assuring as I got nervous leaving my dog(as though it were his first day of preschool) first thing I smelled was cleanliness as the door opened, which made me feel good about the hygienics of the location. Staff asked me how I wanted my groom, gave them my feedback and...2 hours later with a simple notification via text my dog was ready. I get there so eager to see my dog Nico and boom, they open the door with a smile and he is not only what I expected but more, even fitted in a Halloween bandana. He smelled like a puff of heaven and looked like one too. The groomer did a phenomenal job, and my little mature Nico isn’t exactly the sweetest peach during grooming...She is a boss woman! I feel good as a puppy parent to taking him to Urban woof, the husband and wife duo really created a one stop shop. Day care, grooming, dog walking & overnight boarding! In love. Obrigada for brining such and amazing place to the neighborhood!1💛

Wade loves going here so much that I cant walk him anywhere near 78th and 2nd because he thinks hes going to daycare and gets extremely excited! I highly recommend Urban Woof!! Every service they offer that Ive tried out has been a great experience from daycare to grooming, they do an amazing job!

We adopted our dog Campbell in September 2019 and he is just the best little Bichon we could have wished up. However, neither of us had ever had a puppy before and we both worked full time. We were so overwhelmed. I honestly mean this when I say, we could not have raised Campbell on the Upper East Side without Urban Woof. They literally do it all, from house calls for puppy playtime pre-vaccination, to midday dog walks at maturity, day care, overnight boarding, grooming, and they do each service with the greatest level of professionalism and customer care you could hope for. Campbell was obsessed with Urban Woof. If we got to within two blocks of the place he was tugging on the leash to race over to their storefront. Marcos and his family dont treat you and your dog as clients but as family. Sadly, we left the Upper East Side in July 2020 due to fall out from COVID-19. Of the many many things well miss about the city, Marcos and the Urban Woof family are right there at the top of the list. We can only hope the next dog care service we use is anywhere near as good as they are. Thanks for everything.

Our dog Gracie, a cockapoo, loves Urban Woof and we couldn’t be happier about leaving her with them.There are a few doggie daycares closer to our apartment than Urban Woof, but we travel a bit farther for better quality. We love the convenience of having many services in one place. Gracie is also groomed at Urban Woof and the team there goes the extra mile to ensure we love her cut each and every time (the bandanas are also cute!).Silvia and the team at Urban Woof are passionate about dog care, helpful, and accommodating. When we first reached out about services with several questions, she took the time to thoroughly answer our concerns.Gracie starts pulling to Urban Woof when she’s several blocks away! She too highly recommends it.
