    I came to Nikki while I was 6 months pregnant as a last ditch effort to keep my beautiful baby girl!! She had gone through all the early stage trainings and I worked with a different trainer one on one because she didnā€™t get along with our other dog but, he temperament didnā€™t want to change. Athena had a bite history with our other dog and unfortunately my god daughter. Knowing that we were about the have a newborn in the house and her being unpredictable I didnā€™t know what to do but, I had seen the work Nikki had done with my brothers dog and decided I needed to try. We sent Athena for a few weeks of board and train in hopes to get her to respond better to simple commands and calm down a little bit. She came back to us with a much better temperament. She is taking to her commands and although we are still a work in progress it is like night and day with her. Our family has been able to bring the baby around her without her jumping or showing signs of aggression. She responds to her collar however, she doesnā€™t always need it as she has been taking commands for the most part regardless. I love that when I am on vacation she is able to go back and hang out with Nikki and her commands are once again reinforced. Our family is truly grateful for Nikki for fitting us in before the baby came, always giving us a place to board Athena, and showing her love for her like we do. I would recommend her services 10 out of 10 times.

    Our senior dog had never been alone till his sis passed and his anxiety was through the roof so we got an older puppy to have a pack again but she guarded so both went to Nikki the same time and she was amazing with them. They needed extra time and Nikki worked with them longer, no problem. Our pup still occasionally guards but ā€œoffā€ is an awesome command; works with our senior also when he starts his barking at cars and people. The difference in our guys post-training is astounding! Highly recommend Nikki! She stays in touch too and I can still ask questions even though training is over. Terrific experience all around!

    When I got my first dog, a standard dachshund, all he did was bite. Day, night, outside, inside, in public, at home, he would not stop. I called Nikki to help me help him, and get him to just be a dog that I wanted to be around. She taught me the tricks and tips to make him a sweet, good boy. When I got my second dog, a mini dachshund, he turned out to be an angel. In addition to training, Nikki offers boarding. I have sent both of my dogs numerous times for overnight boarding trips and theyā€™ve loved it every single time. I highly recommend ideal k9 training for any and all things dog related. Shes the best!

    We have a three-year-old standard Bernedoodle whoā€™s super excitable, so we wanted to work on his obedience, leash manners, off-leash skills, and impulse control. Nikki was amazing! She worked with him for two weeks and kept us in the loop the whole time, giving us tips and next steps for when he came home. He came home yesterday and we can already tell a huge difference! He can walk calmly without pulling and run off-leash with more freedom. Weā€™re really excited to keep up the training he learned. Highly recommend Nikki!

    I cannot thank Nikki enough for all she has done! My 10 month old Golden Retriever spent two weeks with Nikki and I am in awe with how well behaved and the confidence he has in him self now. Before going to Nikki my pup was nervous, did not listen, barked excessively, and loved to mouth when playing. After his time with Nikki he no longer has those issues and is much more confident when we are out. Since he has come back from training we are getting complimented on how well behaved and trained he is by strangers when we go out with him. During his stay Nikki kept us updated with his progress with videos and pictures. When ever I had a question she was always there to answer. Nikki is a miracle worker and I cannot recommend her enough!

    Rusty was territorial and aggressive to new people. Barked at anything that was in his sight. Postal workers were not his favorite and he would attack the door whenever they came. After training with Nikki, he leaves the door alone when the mail comes and doesnt bark at everything. Today(4/8/24), we went for a walk without the E-collar. It needed to be charged. He did fantastic!!! He heeled, sat/place and tolerated the postal lady, her van and a little girl running. He didnt bark at the dog he saw and it was delightful to have him behave. Nikki is worth every penny for training your dog. She is awesome.

    My pup Ace was impossible to walk, 85 pound German shepherd, he would constantly pull and bark at everyone person and animal he saw. it was a constant fight with him outside and inside. He would never listen to commands or anything, especially when others were around. He was very aggressive when it came to food and toys. And did many more things as well. It was impossible to give him the proper exercise he needed.We took him to Nikki for a 3 week board and train, and Itā€™s almost unbelievable hes the same dog. Now he walks right next to me outside, doesnt react to dogs or people anymore like he did before, he listens to all commands and doesnā€™t show the aggression he did prior or any of the other things. She kept me updated every step of the way, so i was never in the dark with how he was doing health wise and training wise. And now i can give him the proper exercise he needs and we can enjoy our time together way more now. I cannot recommend Nikki enough, I was all out of options and didnt know what to do anymore, and she did more for us than i could have ever imagined. I am beyond satisfied with the results of the training and extremely thankful for everything she did for us.

    Nikki is a miracle worker! When my pup was 8 months old she was resource guarding (biting), wouldnā€™t listen to commands, and would run away when off-leash. We sent her to a 2-week board and train and she came back a new dog! She hasnā€™t resource guarded since, she listens to ALL commands, and she can enjoy tons of off-leash time everywhere we go (even at the lake or the mall with a ton of distractions!).Nikki truly made my dog into the good girl she is today! And my dog gets so much more freedom and a MUCH better quality of life. Thereā€™s no better feeling than having a well trained dog that is SO friendly and can go places with you (vacations, outdoor restaurants, the beach).And if that doesnā€™t prove Nikkiā€™s skillsā€”my parents have a dog that absolutely hates other dogs and was aggressive towards dogs (showing teeth, growling, etc.). This made it hard for me to visit so we knew something had to change and we needed to get them together safely. We had Nikki come over to my parentsā€™ home to help us train them to be friendly to each other. After just a couple of months they could be together and actually started playing and enjoying each others company. Fast forward a couple years later and they are the best of friends.Nikki truly changed my life by giving me the worlds best (and well behaved dog!). And my dog is grateful that she has such a wonderful quality of life now. I will never send my dogs to another trainer.

    Ozzy recently did a refresher board and train program with Tiffany, we had done a basic obedience board and train with her in the past when ozzy was almost a year old. Heā€™s 2 now and just needed some touching up on his reactivity to strangers in public. After just a week Tiffany and Nikki had him out and about interacting and not being reactive. On pickup, it was night and day difference as we did a few loops inside Home Depot.I cannot recommend Tiffany and Ideal K9 enough, and she really cares for your dog while theyā€™re at camp! Only place Iā€™d trust sending off my pooch!Thank you again Tiffany and Nikki!!PS: you get awesome photos like this one from Tiffany to keep you smiling while your friend is away

    Went to Nikki to get help with a rescue female English bulldog who is believed to have been overbred and attacked. When she was brought home she would not respond to any commands and worse off she would attack the other two dogs for no reason. Nikki spent 4 weeks training her and the results were mind blowing. She will listen to commands and is starting to come around to the other dogs even. It has made itā€™s a tremendously more comfortable environment when at first it seemed hopeless. Throughout the process nikkii answered every question, always responded, and sent updates and even videos. She is the best. If anyone can help Nikki can. Believe in her.

    Our dog Mika just completed the 4 basic obedience lessons with Tiffany and we had a wonderful experience! Mika is now able to heel at our side when walking on a leash and knows all of her basic commands. Mikaā€™s confidence has increased and her quality of life has improved. She made significant progress in a short period of time. Tiffany was kind and patient with us and provided helpful feedback and guidance. We canā€™t recommend Tiffany or ideal k9 enough!

    Iā€™m speechless. Kobe - our 7 year old German Shepherd was dog aggressive. He was spoiled and was the king of the house. We couldnā€™t walk him without him dragging us, take him around other dogs, and struggled with our 10 month old! We recently picked Kobe up from training with Nikki and we are shocked. We couldnā€™t believe our Kobe was in a room with other dogs unfazed. Nikki was attentive, caring and made us feel extremely comfortable during his 3 week board and train. We can not recommend Nikki enough. She is INCREDIBLE! We already took him for his first walk (heeled) with a stroller and it was enjoyable! We are so excited to continue to spoil our loving guy and be able to make memories as a family!! Hereā€™s to endless walks, hikes, and cutting down Christmas trees with a well behaved pup thanks to Nikki!

    We are so thankful for Nikki, and we highly recommend training with her! We sent our Silver Lab Lou to the two week Board & Train program. Nikki sent us pictures and videos the whole time to show his progress, and we were amazed by how much Lou learned & mastered when we picked him up. Now, he walks better off-leash than on-leash! We occasionally board Lou with Nikki when we travel, and itā€™s great that itā€™s a familiar place for him. After the 2 week training program, Lou didnā€™t want to leave Nikki!

    Nikki trained our very fearful, reactive boy. She was so compassionate and understanding of his fears and was able to train him to have the confidence and obedience he needed to be able to truly live and enjoy his life. She gave us the tools and knowledge to help him in every way. Her knowledge coupled with her heart and love for what she does is unmatched. She is the only person who we trust with him and we board him with her every time we go away and I wouldnā€™t leave him with anyone else. She is the very best!!!

    We cannot say enough good things about our experience with IDEAL K9 training. We did a 2 week board and train and picked up a totally different dog! About a year later I had some questions and Nikki came out to our home and spent well over an hour working through everything with me. We were beyond impressed and now recommend to everyone seeking out training. I know I can contact them at any point for help or concerns. We also board our dog with her when we are out of town. It gives us such a sense of comfort knowing she is some place she knows and is being loved.

    I signed my dog up for the two week board and train in June of 2023. From getting her back her behavior was noticeably better and her recall was perfect. Even a year later, she is excellent at off-leash walking and needs no correction from me while weā€™re out on a trail. Nikki made the pickup process easy and taught me all of my dogā€™s new commands and how to continue with her training for the future. I recommend Nikki to anybody who has a dog and is looking for training, they will not regret it.

    I brought my Stubborn Border Collie/Aussie to Nikki as a last ditch effort to get her behavioral issues under control. She went from an aggressive anxious dog to a well behaved angel who was even able to be in our wedding day after learning with Nikki. Even though it was training, Nikki made it fun and my dog loved going. I also board my dog with Nikki and I can go away with the piece of mind that my dog is happy healthy and being well taken care of. I canā€™t thank Nikki enough for making our day to day routine so much easier and allowing us to actually enjoy our sweet girl as a pet without fear of her actions.

    Bluto began to experience some fear and aggression upon turning 2. He went from being an adorable sweet bulldog, to running rough shot over everyone. And now, thanks to Nikki and Ideal K9 Training heā€™s back to being the wonderful little guy that he is. I can let him out in the unfenced yard and donā€™t have to worry about him terrorizing other dogs and people or leaving the property. He has manners and listens. Sure, he will test me as bulldogs often do, but applying what we have learned simply works. And Nikki is there for ongoing support as needed, which has been fantastic. Highly recommend!

    Our 4 year old Golden Retriever, Bailey participated in the K- 9 Training from 4/29-5/13/24. Tiffany LoPresti did an excellent job training Bailey not to pull on the leash upon walking and not jumping on people when excited. The training was very important for us, both for our immediate needs and as for future wishes to have her trained as a therapy dog. Tiffany was in constant contact with us . She sent us daily pictures, videos and updated us with Baileyā€™s progress. Upon picking Bailey up after her training was completed, Tiffany spent quality time with us to confirm the use of the collar and remote.     My German shepherd Arya came to us a very scared, unsocialized and very reactive 4 month old little girl. When I picked her up, it was the first time sheā€™d ever been in a car - when we got home, she army crawled into the house which took 30 minutes.I worked with her everyday, but I then got her into training about 5 months ago with Nikki. I was skeptical, I was so nervous that it wouldnā€™t work and I would live the next 13 years with a dog who I couldnā€™t really bring anywhere or have people over to our home with out her losing her absolute ever loving mind.After 4 weeks of training, I now have an amazingly obedient German shepherd who when I bring anywhere with me, she listens to my commands and focuses only on me and who doesnā€™t pull my arm out of my socket on walks.Our first vet visit since training, the vet entered the room expecting to be barked and growled at by Arya. Our first vet visit we all had to sit around arya on the floor and feed her 85 treats just for the doctor to touch her. Yesterday, vet was shocked when Arya just sat and waited for the door to close behind her as she came in, and for me to say break - to have arya go straight up to her looking for some love and pets and of course those treats.I know Iā€™ve done good by my girl, and put in a lot of work to make sure she has a good life. But to hear it from a professional that she was ā€œproudā€ to see I came back in with a confident, loving, welcoming dog and that I wasnā€™t there to get medication to help calm her anxiety down - that was so eye opening for me.So, if you need a trainer - I can NOT recommend Nikki enough, she is truly amazing at what she does - Arya and I will forever be thankful for her šŸ¤ and we most certainly have a life long friend in Nikki now.

    Nikki helped my rescue dog learn to follow commands and worked with her on her fear aggression. It used to be impossible to take her anywhere, especially around other dogs. Now, she follows my commands to walk beside me and ignores any dogs that are around us. I also LOVE using Nikki for boarding when I travel, and I dont trust anyone else to watch her. I now live out of state and still consider driving there just so I know she is safe while I am away! It is also a great refresher for my dog and gets her safely exposed to other dogs without interacting.

    I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! Nikki and Ideal K9 deserve it. She did an amazing job with our boy! We had worked with several others for him even a different board and train to no avail. He was very difficult to walk due to his reactivity to everything! He was even difficult just to have in our fenced in yard he would charge the fence for every neighbor walking by. He is a different dog now! And much more enjoyable to take outside!! Thank you so much Nikki!!! And even now that he is home with us Nikki is still available for any questions that we have!!! Would highly recommend Nikki and Ideal K9 to anyone!!! Especially if you have a very difficult dog!

    Nikki was phenomenal when she trained our very rambunctious Husky, Koda. We did a two week board and train when when she was less than two years old. After training she actually comes to you when you call her, she does not bolt out the door at any opportunity and take off. Nikki sent us a video during training showing Koda in a busy park with people walking by, even squirrels running around (huskies have a strong prey instinct), and Koda was just sitting there as commanded. We couldnā€™t believe it! Even 5 years later we constantly get comments from people about what a well behaved dog she is. That board and train was worth every penny. Nikki is great!

    Nikki was great with our 2 1/2 year old St. Bernard Finnegan. Finn had dog aggression and even though he knew some basic commands, he was stubborn and wouldnt listen and definitely ignored the word COME. After 3 weeks in the Board and train program he came back like a new dog. I feel comfortable bringing him out in public now. We can walk by other dogs with no issues, he can just be his happy go lucky self.Thank you Nikki!!!

    The trainers are great, great with my boy. Treated him like their own dog. Nikki was great, she sent us pictures and videos of my boy. when we went to pick him up she went over all the training and answered all our questions.     We have nothing but the best to say about this company and Nikki. She trained my sweet Great Dane, right before I had a baby. I wanted to be able to walk him once he was full grown and not him walking me. Here we are years later and he still obeys all his commands, and now his little sister is giving them to him. Hands down the best and weā€™re so sad we moved out of state but still highly recommended to everyone with a dog.

    Both of our dogs completed Board & Train and have been boarding with Nikki when we go away over the last couple years. Our herding dog had learned to control her impulsivity, and our rescue has gained so much confidence and knowledge! Nikki has made training them so easy!     Nikki has trained my dog Dozer. Heā€™s a pit and anyone who knows pits, they can be stubborn. He came back knowing his commands and does wonderful. I am so thankful for having her train him because he is now mostly deaf, and when he has his collar on, I can easily get his attention by using it. It has been 6 years and he still knows what to do.

    Nikki Licciardi makes Cesar Milan look like an amateur! Our two and a half year old Saint was a big wild boy, beautiful, but...impossible. Fear aggressive, stubborn, a runner, he was not a fun dog to have around. We had heard of Nikki, and her results with other dogs, so, we decided to give her, and our hiFinnegan, a shot. I WAS TOTALLY SKEPTICAL. Finn was, due to our failure to work with him when he was a puppy, a hard case. However, I knew if we didnt do something, we ran the risk of losing our big loveable Saint.So, off he went to what I call boot camp. Three weeks with Nikki. I felt bad for her! I saw the progress videos...I watched in complete awe him sitting, staying, ignoring other dogs, coming when he was called...Nikki transformed our Finnegan, and...it LASTS!!. We work with him, its been almost 6 months now, he is 100% good, well behaved, smarter loveable and a wonderful part of our family. Nikki ROCKS. Bad dog? Dumb dog? Misbehaving dog? Hire Nikki.     Our 2 year old girl, Marley, spent 3 weeks with Nikki for the Board & Train.We canā€™t express enough how great Marley has been behaving and listening in all situations. Staying in ā€œplaceā€ when people walk through the door. Laying down in the car with simple command, instead of her constantly standing back up and panting wondering where we are going. Walking and sitting in public places without being phased by passerbyā€™s or other dogs.Marleyā€™s commands are able to be used off-leash also!Itā€™s just a short period after getting her back of learning the right phrases and timing while using the e-collar!Marley was in puppy classes and was being daily walked/trained with treats, and after 2 years she was still phased by other people and dogs, and she would never stay in the proper ā€œheelā€ position.Her impulse control has never been better!

    Jackson went in to Nikki pulling and it was extremely hard to get him to listen, especially around others. He was super reactive to a BUNCH of different things. Since having him home, he listens and we have been able to enjoy much more time together because I can bring him everywhere with me.10/10 recommend Nikki and her talents, especially if you want to be able to LIVE fully with your pup.

    In an industry filled with people praying on emotion and bad habits, Nikki and ideal k9 is a breath of fresh air. From the onset, she was very patient and knowledgeable as I asked questions for over an hour. Nikki mad me felt comfortable and excited with her experience and demeanor, and it let to signing up (2) of our dogs for a 4 week board and train to help the aggression that they showed towards each other. Every step of the way she kept us up to date with messages and photos. The puppies came home being able to not only just coexist, but be happy in the home together for the first time. I will forever be thankful for this experience.

    We just recently completed 8 weeks of private training lessons with our Bernedoodle, Mosa. We started the training because of our dogā€™s disobedient and reactive behaviors. While working with Nikki, we saw these negative behaviors improving each week. She worked with Mosa on each of the 7 commands and then made sure my husband and I understood how to continue working on them at home.Nikki was very knowledgable and professional. We appreciated her ability to tailor each lesson to what we needed to work on most.All in all, we are extremely pleased with the results weā€™ve seen and will be recommending her to friends and family!

    Sending my dog for training was the best decision. Friends call my dog ā€œthe majorā€ because he wants to be friends with every dog. With people he is reserved but not aggressive, once he knows you he will give you the best friendly hello. He is obedient, we can walk without leash and the recall is perfect.     One of the best decisions Iā€™ve ever made was having my dog trained by Nikki. My dog was biting people and I honestly didnā€™t know what to do. After my dog training with Nikki, I havenā€™t had one issue with her. Sheā€™s amazing around people now. I honestly couldnā€™t be happier. I even have my dog Board with her since I trust her so much. I cannot recommend Nikki highly enough! Literally, the best trainer ever!

    I HIGHLY recommend Nikki for training and boarding.Nikki worked absolute wonders with my pandemic pup, Remi, who had severe anxiety and aggression. She was awful on walksā€”pulling, barking, and reacting out of fear. I had tried other trainers, but nothing helped. Nikkiā€™s board and train was my last hope. Nikki worked her magic, transforming Remi into a calmer, more balanced dog. Walks are enjoyable, and her anxiety has drastically improved.Remi is still picky with people but she LOVES Nikki. 3 years after the board and train, I still drive Remi all the way to Albany from Boston when I go out of town to board with Nikki because I know sheā€™ll be happy and well taken care of. Nikki sends updates regularly and loves Remi as much as I do.If youā€™re struggling with behavioral issues, I highly recommend Nikki. Sheā€™s a miracle worker!
