We are so appreciative of Sara’s incredible care of our dog! We are visiting Sodus Point and had an event to attend. Sara was incredibly communicative, took the best care of Jesse, sent photos and videos and the place is set up so well. We felt that he was safe and loved while there! HIGHLY recommend! She keeps the dogs cool, comfortable and happy!

Last week I went to drop my dog Cooper off at Backwoods, before we went on vacation and I alway feel bad when he cannot come with us. I dropped him off on a Friday and he could not control himself in the truck. He was excited. So excited that when I left, he didnt seem to care. This is where you want to take your dog. We started taking Coop to Saras in December and booked through rover. On the way to her house, our fight to Florida was canceled. I explained the situation to Sara and she was more than flexible. This was our first interaction and I could not be more grateful. We ended up going on a local trip and Sara accommodated us on short notice. We received daily pictures of Coop with other dogs and updates with how he was doing.Backwoods has great facilities for their guests with tons of space and amenities. Coop has some kidney problems and has to go out side and drinks a ton. This is not a problem as they have a constant water supply and get lots of outdoor time. Everything is clean and they are really quick to respond with texts or phone calls.If you are looking for a place to take you pet we would highly recommend going here.

Sarah is the Best !! I never worry about my baby when he is there. She sends pictures of him to me daily so I know he is having fun with the friends he has met there.

We absolutely love Sara! She takes care of our girl Nala just like she is part of the family. Wont ever take our girl anywhere else! Highly recommend to anyone. ❤️❤️❤️

Our dogs absolutely love it here. They are well taken care of. Honestly it is the only time the dogs are excited about getting in the car is when they know they are going to Backwoods K-9!
