I just have to share how amazing Glencadia Dog Camp has been for my dog, Cocoa! For years now, I’ve been sending him there, and honestly, it’s been such a relief as a busy working professional in NYC. I can’t tell you how much peace of mind I get knowing Cocoa is in such good hands.The prices are super reasonable, especially considering how happy and healthy Cocoa is when he comes back home. It’s like he’s had a mini vacation, and I love seeing him so excited after a stay at camp.But the real stars of the show are the staff. They’re so kind and genuinely care about the dogs. Phil and all the dog handlers are incredibly communicative and responsive. I feel like I can always reach out if I have questions or just want to check in on Cocoa, and they’re always there to support me if I have a change in plans.Thank you, Glencadia Dog Camp, for being such a fantastic place for cocoa. You guys are truly the best! I can’t recommend you enough to other dog owners looking for a loving environment for their dogs.

My wife and I have been sending our lab-husky to Glencadia for boarding for over a year now, and we have been so, so happy with our experiences to date. The facility boasts big open spaces for play and socializing, and their grooming and care services have been excellent. Health-check updates and playtime photos are frequent and plentiful, for which we are hugely grateful.As importantly, from pick-up to drop-off and every step in-between, the Glencadia team has been fantastic. Professional, friendly, and very responsive. Our pup is always excited for her visits and has always come home healthy and happy. Based on my experiences, I would highly recommend them to any dog owner looking for a first-rate boarding option.

We absolutely LOVE Glencadia. We have been sending our dog Astor to Glencadia for several years now. He has been over 10 times!!! Astor has gone to camp from as little as a weekend stay to a longer 2 week stay. We have recommended Glencadia to at least 10 people and they always rave about it and are SO happy we recommended it to them. We love Glencadia because of how convenient the service is. Astor is obsessed with doggy driver Phil! The pick and drop off service is an absolute game changer. Glencadia is very affordable compared to everything else in the city and Astor gets his own little vacation when we go on vacation. We always know our dog is in good hands and it is very obvious he is having the time of his life when we see him romping around with a huge smile on his face in the photos and videos. Astor is always so exhausted when he gets home because of how much fun he had with all of his new and old camp friends!! HIGHLY recommend Glencadia. We could not recommend them enough.

My dog has been LOVING it at Glencadia. Im delighted to see all the fun photos that get uploaded every day. This is her second time back, and weve already booked her for a month long stay in the next few months.The wellness checks where the dogs get weighed and checked for scratches, ticks, and overall health are reassuring to read. The Glencadia team makes sure the dogs are in tip top shape. The photos of the dogs sitting on the bench after the wellness checks are fun to see as well. Their faces are always beaming!I was worried the first time I sent my dog because I adopted her when she had severe separation anxiety. Training wasnt getting anywhere as she was attached only to me. I think she learned to self soothe at camp being around other dogs and being in a safe environment. When she got back, her separation anxiety training went so much more smoothly!

Im so grateful to have found this camp for my dog!! It can be challenging finding a trusted sitter for longer stays away, but this has been such a wonderful alternative. The van service picks my pup up and drops her off right in front of my home in Brooklyn and they do really cute photoshoots with the dogs sometimes. Loved seeing my pup in a wide open space to run and play how she likes. Will definitely be back!

Glencadia Dog Camp has been a home away from home for my dog Bagel for over 3 years now, and I wouldn’t think of sending him anywhere else. The peace of mind I get knowing he’s on his own little vacation while I’m on mine, and enjoying the photos they provide, is priceless. I have sent my pup to Glencadia twice and he will be going again in a few weeks! Each time he comes back absolutely exhausted and - let me tell you - it is very hard to tire out a working Spaniel!My pup is a very social creature who would not do well in a typical boarding kennel where hes crated alone at night so the social boarding at Glencadia is perfect for him.I honestly love Glencadia - their vibes, their ethos, their very regular communication. I have no hesitation recommending them to friends and trust them with the care of my pup.Also, I upgraded to the fancy meal for my pups last stay and he came back with ~~perfect~~ poops, so it was a no brainer for me to sign up for their meal service too. Its about the same price as the Farmers Dog so I figured why not? Id rather support a local business that takes amazing care my boy!Overall 10/10 - super happy with Glencadia!

This was Juno’s first time at Glencadia and we couldn’t be happier with her time at the camp (the tongue being a barometer of her happiness). The staff runs a first class operation and we were always updated on her care and experience through their messages and photos. As an “intact” puppy (not yet neutered), she spent most of her time with a smaller group that she clearly enjoyed, but also got time in the Romp with the bigger group under the staff’s close supervision. We will definitely be sending her back to Glencadia the next time we travel. I highly recommend it.

4/24 Update: Still sending Nellie to Glencadia every time I go on vacation, and its absolutely wonderful. She races to the van to get in when she spots it. I can tell shes a happy gal! Couldnt recommend it more. The themed photos are really tempting me to send her for EVERY holiday, even if Ill be in town!I’ve been sending Nellie to camp for about 4 years now and she recently came back from three weeks enjoying the space and playtime! Based on the pictures, she really really enjoys it at Glencadia. And I am very impressed with the organization, communication, and ease it is to send her there. Thank you for watching my girl!!

I only have great things to say about Glencadia - Ive been sending my dogs there for about 3 years at this point, and I am consistently impressed by the staff. They make pick-up and drop-off seamless, and everyone really knows the dogs and their personalities. The pick up in NYC is so amazing and they all care so much. It is a great place for little dogs as well as the big guys you see running to the lake.

We have been sending our dogs to Glencadia for 13 years now! We first heard about them from a fellow dog parent in Brooklyn when asking around about local dog daycare. Glencadia sounded like a pups dream so we decided to give them a try with our first dog. We loved that they would send photos and videos (even back then!) so we knew she was having a good time. We were happy to have her home but each time we would book a trip and the Glencadia van would come (free pick up on Mondays and Thursdays was also a HUGE bonus with Glencadia) our dog would pull us to the van and hop right in. She knew what was coming. We have sent our new puppy now twice in the past 6 months and he really seems to be enjoying it as well. In the daily photos posted he looks happy, playing with his new friends. We love Glencadia and Will and his team and will continue to send our new pup there while we head out of town. Everyone is on vacation!

My dog Amara is a regular happy camper. She has 15 stays, both long and short, under her 4 paws. She loves it : I can see it on the pics and videos, and I can see witness it as she is being picked up by the van and wags her tail to the staff. Glencadia has made a lot of recent cool împrovements with excellent grooming services, AI photo recognition, email updates and even a homemade food product. Amara is at camp now for the Christmas holidays and is scheduled again for April. Oh I forget: if your dog is at camp for a special holiday you might get a cute pic of them celebrating !

This was Pearls second time at Glencadia dog camp - it was worth every dollar spent on her. Pearl, our little whippet puppy can be very shy at times and we were a little anxious about leaving her for 2 weeks (I think we were suffering more from separation anxiety than our dog!) The daily photo updates and videos on the Glencadia social platforms put us at ease very quickly - Pearl looked like she was having the best time ever! The bus pick up and drop off was extremely efficient, Pearl even recognised the member of the team who picked her up from her last stay. The Glencadia team did such a great job at looking after our puppy - thank you for making her stay so enjoyable and allowing us to have a holiday in Europe! Our boy Hank loves going to camp. We cant offer him the room to run and play that he deserves, so we send him to camp every chance we get to get his exercise in. He even goes swimming in the pond, which he absolutely loves! He is always so happy to head to camp, and he comes home happy, healthy, and tired :) The staff is amazing and very responsive to my requests and concerns. They upload pictures all the time, so we can keep tabs on our Hankie Poo! I cant say enough good things about this place, one staff member told me that the place was designed for dogs to be dogs, and I couldnt agree more! So happy we found Glencadia!

Amazing 12 day boarding experience at Glencadia! We were nervous about our first boarding experience as we only had Rocket a few months & weren’t sure how he’d react... see photo for his reaction!Every step of the process was friendly, professional, and prompt.We opted to drive out & pick up ourselves but it is almost 2.5 hrs from NYC- we’ll likely use the shuttle service next time.If you have any concerns or your dog has individual needs, let them know, the more info they have the better.

I love being able to sift through all the pictures on the blog — Elvis is basically part fish and seems to really enjoy all the swimming opportunities available to him at camp (especially in any mud pit he can sniff out)!

My fiancé and I discovered Glencadia well over a year ago by word of mouth - we have since brought our dog (~2 year old Golden) here 4 times. Simply put - this place is the absolute best. Every experience is better than the last. Great communication, friendly and knowledgeable staff who truly care about the dogs, awesome facility with everything a dog needs to have a fun and comfortable stay away from home - all at reasonable rates with accommodative scheduling. The staff shares so many pictures on their blog/Instagram which we love. We can clearly spot our pup having a blast chasing friends, jumping around in the snow or swimming in the pond. We highly recommend Glencadia to all dog owners.

They upload pictures every day which is helpful for helicopter dog moms like me. They are my go to call when I’m traveling. I know she’s in good hands with Glencadia staff!

Use them anytime I’m going out of town for more than a few days. The free pickup/dropoff in NYC is super easy and convenient, but be aware that’s it’s usually in the evenings and only on Mon/Thur. Our dog loves it out on the farm and Glencadia keeps up with personal updates, weigh ins, and posts on their website/blog. It’s reasonably priced, and truly the best option for your pup to have their own vacation. They’ll come back absolutely wiped out.

We LOVE Glencadia. For so many reasons: the ease of making online reservations, a convenient pickup/drop off process, being sent photos and updates (as well as being able to check my account for them), the dogs being able to interact with other dogs in a safe, supervised (yet, free) way and, most importantly, my dogs love their time at camp. You know how you can just tell when you pick them up? We have used other boarding options in the past and when we picked them up they would seem stressed, immediately have to use the restroom and drink gallons of water, just sad seeming. When we pick them up from Glencadia, they are bathed and happy. And when we drop them off, they are excited to go! Thank you so much.

We love Glencadia Dog Camp. We have a 60lb aussie shepard-lab mix and he always enjoys his time at camp. We love all the pictures they post of the dogs while they are playing outside and we love spotting him in the background or the foreground, playing and running around.We have tried multiple options for dog care while we are out of town, and have found Glencadia to be the best option. We love that they have pick up and drop off. It makes it a lot easier for us. And the platform they use is straight forward and gives us a complete idea of his stay and easily allows us to modify the reservations or add new ones.Our dog Blu always has so much fun, and when he comes back he sleeps for a few days because he was playing so much he needs to catch up on his rest. I highly recommend Glencadia to anyone looking for a fun and safe place to send their dog!

Our puppy had a great experience at Glencadia. He can have a hard time adjusting to new environments, but did not seem to have any trouble there. Ask ALLIE, my golden retriever, and she would tell you its heaven on earth. She said she met interesting dogs from all over, could run wild, swim every day, eat and hang out with her friends, and crash in the barn at the end of the day with all of her buddies. Staff are great. I would highly recommend giving it a try if you have a dog like our Allie.

We have sent our medium-sized 2-year-old pointer to Glencadia three times over the last 6 months and already booked her stay for spring break. The user-friendliness of Glencadia is fantastic--online booking, free shuttle, extra services, and they provide everything during her stay (food, bed, RFID collar, etc.). The Spot-Spotter sends us photos most days, and she looks like shes having a great time. She comes home exhausted and hungry--who wouldnt after two weeks of romping all day. The only downside is that, since they provide the food, it means that she has an overnight diet transition when she arrives at camp and again when she returns home. This has meant a period of unsettled stomach each time she comes home. Maybe thats a side effect of any camp and just one of those things you deal with as a dog parent. We have no idea if this camp is good for little/lap dogs, but for our high-energy pointer, its been a winner.

The pick up time was delayed once with the busy summer schedule but the communication was excellent. Favorite boarding service Ive ever used!Glencadia is great. All else aside, their prices put them in a tier of their own, extremely reasonable. In NYC there are endless absurd luxury dog boarding places that cost hundreds per night, and for what? Glencadia lets the dogs be dogs for a fraction of the price.The free pickup twice a week is also hugely convenient when planning a trip. Great piece of mind knowing that its available, and much easier than needing to take the dog somewhere. They come right to your door!The blog, email updates, and Instagram photos are also fantastic. If youre missing your pooch on vacation all you have to do is look at the pictures and you know theyre well, and probably having more fun than you are!Last, the people are always thoughtful, compassionate, and kind. When my dog Maggie gets picked up, she immediately recognizes the drivers and gets excited. I have never had a problem in any communication with anyone at the camp, and they have earned my trust over years of taking care of my sweet girl when I have to be away. I am so glad that Glencadia is available, and I plan on using them whenever I need to board!

This is the best thing I’ve ever done for my dog. She loves Glencadia because she roams free and plays in mud all day with lots of other dogs. I love Glencadia because they pick her up in front of my house and drop her off again when vacation is over. I’m so grateful that I found Glencadia! I have an energetic Siberian Husky who needs space to roam and run and the options for boarding her in the city just weren’t cutting it. It was also not very feasible to leave her for long periods of time (a few weeks or more) in the city which I need to do from time to time. Enter Glencadia - they are the most perfect solution I could have hoped for! Their location and facility is ideal and they even do free pickup and drop off from my apartment in the city. At first I thought this place was too good to be true but I’ve been sending Sasha to Glencadia for almost a year now and they really are the perfect solution. The staff is friendly and responsive and I always feel comfortable knowing she’s in good hands. Thanks Glencadia!

Such a great place! I was nervous sending our dog Macaroni so far away, but from the pictures they posted it looked like he had a great time! So many other dogs to play with, a huge yard and pond to explore, and so much time to run around. Glencadia made the whole process incredibly easy with pickup/drop off, and not having to pack any food or toys. They took care of everything. Will definitely be sending him to “camp” again next time we’re out of town and can’t bring him.

Glencadia and its owner (Will Pflaum) are incredible. We send our dog (Lenny) there every time we go away. The freedom to play and exercise on the Glencadia farm is so unique, unlike traditional boarding options. The dogs have virtually unlimited space while highly supervised gives them fun and safety.Glencadia is great about posting photos band videos on a nearly daily basis so you can always see the fun your dog is having.And for NYC dwellers, the door to door pickup/drop off is arguably the best part.

Weve sent our two dogs (9yo border collie mix and 10yo lab mix) 26 times from 2018-2023. They enjoy short stays over a long weekend and longer stays lasting more than three weeks, depending on our travel. Our pups get excited to go and look for the van now when we tell them theyre going to camp -- they always come back happy and exhausted (and freshly bathed!!). Amazing place! Extremely Reliable, caring and very well organized . The free pick up service and drop off is very convenient especially for those of us who live in city. 2nd Time boarding with Glencadia and is always a great experience for parents and dogs alike. Piper was weighed on day 1. She was also weighed before she came home. Piper had lost 4 lbs which proves that Glencadia has daily activities for your dogs and don’t just crate them like other facilities. Friendly staff and daily pics plus videos of each day is a nice perk to check in on em! Glencadia is a clear choice for taking care of your love ones. Piper came home happy and healthy and a bit exhausted from her adventures at Glencadia. The caregivers are top-notch, loving and caring. I wont take my baby anywhere else!

For over a year we’ve struggled where to send our two huskies when traveling. This is hands down the best experience and best place for our active pups. They have the best time and get so excited when the bus pulls up to pick them up. I can’t recommend them enough. Instead of being locked inside all day and sleeping in crates, they’re running on acres of land and getting to play with other dogs. The staff are extremely attentive to our dogs and constantly send photos/videos of them every day. I look forward to their updates! Our Cavoodle, Milla, spent 11 nights at Glencadia over Thanksgiving - her first trip ever to a dog camp. We were delighted with the experience... from the original sign-up (which was reassuringly thorough, checking that all dogs had the necessary vaccinations), through to her stay itself - LOVED the number of photos we were able to see on a daily basis... giving us confidence she was doing well. The door-to-door drop-off & pick-up was fantastic - well-organised with clear communication and made it all very easy. Milla has come home happy & exhausted - shes clearly had fun with her doggie friends. We will be back!

My dog spent 32 days at Glencadia and I couldn’t be more satisfied. From the very start the communication was great. Will and Patricia answered all of my questions, and setting up my dogs profile was a breeze.I received text updates and pictures often, and I followed their Instagram page for live videos and posts. The Glencadia website also has additional pictures, so be sure to check that too.My dog looked so happy in every picture and video. To my surprise she even loved swimming in the lake! The pickup and drop-off feature is terrific, and of course being the dog mom that I am, I used this GPS feature to track the van the entire way.My dog will definitely be returning. Thank you so much Will ! Hands down the best boarding experience I’ve had.

We have booked a few reservations at Glencadia and each visit has gotten better and better. Not only is it the most economical option for our family - overnight boarding in the city for two large dogs can be at least $150/night vs $80/night at Glencadia! - but its also the most fun option for two energetic huskies. They come home bathed and super tired after a long weekend at camp. I provided some feedback about their baths after a previous visit and I can tell it has since been addressed. We were also glad to see our pups in the photos uploaded every weekend, as well as receiving a weigh-in video which is new!

He is always excited when the van comes for pick up, which is very telling considering he has a hard time adjusting to new situations. Glencadia is THE go-to for dog boarding. Ive used their service twice now and each time my dog comes back very happy. Their team is great about communication and they have a variety of tools that make the reservation and shuttle process much easier.I highly recommend them to anyone. Among other things, Glencadia enables me to take long trips and leave my dog with them, he gets socialized and burns off a lot of energy and he is a generally happier dog as a result.

Glencadia is a fantastic place where we send our pup Cooper if we are out of the city for a few days. The times we’ve used them they are always on time to pick him up and deliver him back. Cooper always comes home a happy, well groomed dog who is exhausted from playing all day.Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Maddie is a senior dog who has been going to Glencadia for as long as Ive had her, nearly 11 years. While she has gotten older and is not able to play and romp as much as she used to, she still loves it there and eagerly jumps into the van when it arrives at our home. They take such good care of her, and even give her a private space in the barn so shes not overwhelmed with the younger and more energetic dogs. We love Will and his team and trust them entirely with Maddies care while we are away!

We have sent our 4-year old beagle/coonhound mix to Glencadia 7-8 times over the past three years when we travel, typically for 2-3 weeks at a time. Reservations and payment are easily done online, and pick-up and drop-off are very well coordinated. Will and his staff are friendly and kind and appear to care for the dog from the moment we put her in the van. We so enjoy seeing pics and videos of our girl running in the fields and rolling in the grass and mud. She comes home exhausted! She can’t tell us, but we believe she really enjoys her time there.

We have a 2-year-old pup named Abby. She is a rambunctious 40 pound lab-mix and we love her to death! For the first year that we had her, Rover was our go-to for dog-sitting. The problem with Rover, in our experience, is that many sitters do not seem to be cut out for dog sitting. We would come home to find that Abby had new vices and one sitter even took a photo of her standing on our glass coffee table.Then, during last years Thanksgiving road trip, we discovered Glencadia. Abbys first stay with them was for 22-23 days (we had to travel from NYC to California). She came home with some nicks and scratches, but nothing out of the ordinary...dogs will be dogs. We most recently sent her back to camp for a few days while we skied in Colorado. This time she came back with no marks and she was as happy as ever.They have a shuttle that services Manhattan two days per week, so if you reserve your appointment to start and end on one of those days, youll save a ton of time and money. To be honest, Glencadia is already cheaper than almost any sitter you will find on Rover and you will not have to worry about them canceling on you or wondering whether or not your pup is being looked after properly.We will continue to use Glencadia because they have done an absolutely tremendous job. I cannot recommend them enough.

Ive sent my wonderful and kind, sometimes shy, bernedoodle Amara over 12 times to Glencadia. I have only great things to say about her experience there and the contacts Ive had with Will and his staff who are very responsive and caring. Amara loves running in the fields, playing with the balls, or just rolling in the fields. She is prone to seperation anxiety and does not like to be left alone or in any sort of crate and this environment has proven to be the best for her: never alone, not locked up, lots of exercise, being outside, and people to be around. Also, recently Will revamped his website which brings great new features such as tagged photos of our dogs (amongst the hundreds we can still scroll through), personal messages etc. I travel a lot for work so knowing Amara is in a good place really brings me peace of mind.

We left our big dog Slim at Glencadia for almost 5 weeks. We had never done this before, and the few short boarding experiences we’ve had in the past were never great. Slim is not a super easy dog: he’s big and full of energy and he’s not cool with other dogs when on the leash. All this makes us very nervous when we leave him somewhere. Glencadia made it so easy and reassuring from the get-go. The first call i had with them, i was convinced they were the perfect place for Slim. The pick up in the city was super smooth: Slim got in a van full of dogs without any issue. It helps that the leash stays home:) We received photos and videos of him playing and running everyday, which made us 100% comfortable: he clearly was having fun, enjoying the outdoors and the other dogs. He came back home clean and happy and pretty tired. Slim NEVER gets tired. Clearly, Glencadia does something right. We will absolutely go back there.

My 12 year old collie mix has been happily going to Glencadia for the past 7 years. In the past, Ive had bad experiences with caged kennels that drug dogs. It makes me happy to know that she can go to Glencadia where dogs are really understood and given a family experience while socializing and having plenty of space. I have visited Glencadia and I encourage others to do so. Will and his family are very welcoming just like the wonderful door to door pickups. Once I was recuperating from surgery and they watched over Peanut for more than a month. They were very understanding and helped us tremendously.

We have sent 3 different dogs here. For the past 11 years. Varying personalities and breeds and they have all enjoyed camp. The first dog we sent loved the water and Will and staff made sure she had lots of time in the pond, throwing sticks. She wasnt the easiest dog and they made it work. Our Our two new dogs go together and arent interested in water but they have a great time. Always excited to go, and go probably twice a month. Pick ups in Brooklyn initially and now we are upstate and do drop offs. It is incredible how smoothly pick ups and drop offs have been. And the flexibility of last minute bookings is particularly helpful. Communication has been amazing, easy friendly and always responsive. The camp has grown and improved, fancy Mercedes van etc., but still feels as personal and friendly as it always has. All of dogs greeted by name and treated like they would if staying with one of our friends.

Glencadia is fantastic!!! 5 stars. My pup Sailor just came back from her first week at camp. From front door pick up to drop off (with van tracking access for convenience) it was a great experience. When I had questions they responded to me immediately and gave me updates on how she was doing her first time away from home. She played on their gorgeous campus in the grass and snow, ate healthy grain free food and made tons of new friends. She had a blast and we were happy that she was happy and safe. We used their service twice so far. First time was a three-day stay, this last time was for a ten-day stay. Each time we used their free pickup and drop off. The pick up and drop off were done with a lot of text communication and were on time with only minor delays due to the traffic. The camp uploaded a ton of photos each day showing how our pup was doing. Our pup came back each time clean, well fed, and energetic. There was also a follow up call the next morning after the drop off. Overall excellent experience and would definitely recommend!

If your dogs are a part of your family and it breaks your heart to go away with out them then Glencasdia is where you have to send them while you are away. We travel quite a bit and once a year we are away for up to 6 weeks. Leaving our dogs in Will’s care makes it all ok. Will and his family and everyone who drives for Glencadia loves dogs and treats them like they are their own. Our dogs LOVE going to Glencadia and start getting super excited when we take down their special dog camp collars. Will also does an excellent job keeping us well informed while we are away. Glencadia Dog Camp deserves enormous praise. Our dog, Oscar, has been difficult to board as he is highly attached to our family. Will and his staff at Glencadia patiently took the time to interpret, work with and make room for his anxiety so that they could develop an extremely positive relationship with him (which we were able to observe from the wonderful videos that they post or send you while your dog is staying with them). The two times Oscar has stayed with them so far have been incredibly successful because everyone was so understanding and loving towards our dog. Plus, Oscar had a great time while he was there. Glencadia is my family’s go-to when sending our dogs away. Glencadia offers convenient and reliable pick up services from NYC making it easy to transport the dogs to their farm to enjoy fresh air, open spaces and playing with other dogs while we go out of town. Booking is so easy through their online platform and Patricia and her team are always available to answer questions by phone, email or text. While our dogs are away, they send many text and video updates as you like leaving you reassured your dog is ok and having a fabulous time. Additionally, we recently had our five month old puppy, Daisy, join our family dog Finn at Glencadia. They made sure she was well taken care of and made sure she was ok given our concerns that she is a puppy and it was her first time away. They allowed us to have our dogs board at night together which allowed them the comfort together and also saved us some money. Both Finn and Daisy came back from a week of playing at camp and as happy as could be. We’ve been sending Finn here for years and always can guarantee our dogs will get exercise, stimulation and have a wonderful time while we’re away. Excellent communication even after they are dropped off to your home they will check in with you the following days to make sure your pups are doing well. Such a great well round business. Highly recommend for anyone in the tri-state area

Glencadia Dog Camp most importantly is run by dog-lovers. Will and his staff clearly love dogs, and thats the most crucial information you need when entrusting your beloved family member to Glencadia. The second most crucial thing is the setting. Anyone who needs to board their dogs -- and anyone who loves their dogs -- would not want them to be staying in the typical dog boarding set-up of four walls, bright lights and a slippery floor that smells like disinfectant. Even with the standard walks, it doesnt make it okay.Due to a housing situation, I was forced to find a temporary place for my large-breed, 1-year old puppy. Glencadia was a solution that turned a difficult situation into an opportunity for joy for my dog.After some weeks there, I visited him and spent some days staying with him in one of Glencadias barn-houses, which are available for guests.First, I was overjoyed to have the opportunity to spend quality time with my dog in such a beautiful setting. Having come from an urban environment and having lived in an apartment, my pup looked so healthy and happy in the midst of woods and farmland.Second, Wills family and extended family all live in the area, and along with his staff, were so kind and welcoming to me and helpful in anticipating all my needs during my visit. The barn-house that was available is lovely, and in which my puppy and I had a restful stay.Third, I had never seen my dog run so joyously free until we got the chance to have the field where the dogs usually go each day, all to ourselves. It was a magical bracket of time of my dog showing off his second home: galloping and zooming with the widest smile and his tongue flapping in the wind and ears flopping all directions. I had also never experienced him being so exceptionally engaged and alert to my movements and commands until then. It goes to show that: happy dog = very responsive dog.I knew then that the shortcomings of his not having me around temporarily, are compensated by the joy he obviously felt in being in wonderful nature that is Glencadia.And, as someone who is overly precious when it comes to my dog, Glencadia has served to remind me that my dog is a dog, which means that running around in mud, tumbling around with his friends, and picking up tennis ball-sized pony poop (its just grass) are all good, clean fun for him.Will and his team (Patricia, Gary and Vern) are very responsive and very understanding. I am very grateful for how much they care.

They conveniently pick him up and drop him off at our home and he gets to spend the week running around in the country and playing with other dogs. He comes home absolutely exhausted but so happy.We love following along with Glencadias social media and daily blog posts with pictures of the dogs and Banjo is always a blur in the background as hes having so much fun with all of his camp friends.Glencadia is also well known around my dog park here in NYC, Ive had people at the dog park come up to me and say was Banjo at camp last week? He even sent me video showing our dog, Rosie, running around in a field with other dogs. Which is bliss, as far as shes concerned. I love sending my dog to Glencadia! The pickup and drop off are so easy and convenient and it’s great to know that my dog is having a ball outdoors in the country with lots of buds while I am traveling. There’s excellent communication all around and lots of great pictures.

Before discovering Glencadia, my severe travel and separation anxiety from my hound made it impossible for me to enjoy either necessary or pleasure-seeking vacations whatsoever. But when I see my precious dog, teeming with others to get out from the gated area and run toward the plush green lawns or lovely little pond and jump in and out swimming, my heart is put at total ease knowing that he is with the best of the best, and not only okay, but thriving throughout their beautiful property. In fact, I live near the huge off-leash areas of Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, and I have never seen so many gleeful pooches all in one place like at Glencadia! And not only do they demonstrate a lovingness toward my creature while I’m away, they are also super receptive to my inquiries about his well-being during his stay. Im a fan of Will and Glencadia and will happily recommend them to anyone who asks! My dog, Daisy, has been going there for 8 years. As a rescue, Daisy didnt tolerate being crated or kenneled; when my extensive search for an open boarding camp led me to Glencadia, I knew Id found the perfect spot. Daisy was a fearful dog when I first adopted her and Will spent a lot of time patiently working with her and making her feel comfortable with him. Now she jumps right in his van (Will picks up in Manhattan and Bklyn), happy to go, and comes back home happy too! Check out Glencadia - you and your dog will be glad you did.

Woody is our second dog to regularly stay at Glencadia, and he also loves it there. He comes home happy and healthy, and Will reports that he loves hanging out with all the other dogs. He’s a greyhound (retired racer), so he likes the chance for unlimited “zoomies” that he doesn’t quite have room for in our tiny Brooklyn back yard. Our last dog, a golden retriever, got so excited when Will came to get him that he’d run for the van and hop in. He stayed with Will and the Glencadia crew regularly for many years, until he died peacefully at age fifteen.

We love Glencadia! Our dog, Birdy, has been for extended stays twice now (two weeks each time). Glencadia posts pictures and videos regularly on Facebook and Instagram, and we could “check in” on her having a grand old time! She comes home happy and exhausted from so much activity.Pick-up and drop off is door-to-door (and free!!), and we love tracking the van as it makes it’s way to us. Glencadia has always been extremely responsive in their communication.This July 4th they had a capture the flag contest which was hysterical and so fun to watch online. We just got back to NYC after leaving our Golden Doodles at Glencadiia for 2 full days. I guess the measure of success comes from how they look at first glance when getting them back. They looked happy and their greeting so typical with not seeing us.They were just adding a new kennel area, so they had some room for our 2 dogs.Oh Yeah- this was total last minutes, the other 15 kennels in the area did not pick up. So we were lucky got the right place.I would use Glencadia any time I need a kennel in the area, which is annual for use. After spending a few moments with them before we left, I felt comfortable with the stay.I can recommend Glencadia to any one needing a dog kennel in the area.

Our Belgian Malinois Kesa stayed at Glencadia for 7 nights. Pickup and drop off were smooth, with an approximate ETA given to us earlier in the day. The daily photos and videos give a good feel for what’s going on, and it was fun looking for Kesa in the photos. When I had questions Ashlie was responsive and reassuring. The great thing was Kesa came back tired and happy! And tiring out a Malinois is hard to do. We will definitely board with Glencadia in the future!

The Glencadia team is outstanding! Will gets to know the dogs and makes sure they stay safe and have fun together. He takes them out for walks and the kids play with them (during school breaks) by the pond and all over the farm. Our dog always looks happy in the videos and pictures he posts. Over the years she went from cowering on the sidewalk when Will came to pick her up in Brooklyn to happily jumping in for her vacation on the farm. She always comes back happy and exhausted from all the playing. The pickups/drop-offs on Monday and Thursday evenings make it totally doable for us since we dont have a car to drive her to other dog camps or boarding places. Big thumbs up for Will and his group at Glencadia.

Ive sent my dog there many times through the summer / fall of 2020 and Arya was always well taken care of and her tail was always wagging when we returned...always a good sign. As I drop Arya off in person, Ive met the folks who work there and have found them to be very friendly and responsive and go above and beyond to care for the dogs including helping Arya to be better about not jumping on people when she gets excited after seeing them. The facilities are well kept and the land that the dogs have to enjoy running is beautiful. Highly recommend.

This was my first time sending my pup to dog camp, and will definitely do it again. He stayed for 1 week over the Christmas holiday. The prices were ultimately about the same/slightly less than rover, and cheaper than standard boarding. They picked him up in the city and provide tracking for the van, as well as text updates of when they will arrive. They posted pictures daily on social media and even more in their website. They even texted me about any concerns they had (for him, he is a picky eater), which to me showed they have a real passion for what they do and really care about the dogs. They gave him a bath before dropping him off in the city, and even texted to make sure he was doing alright the next day. He was exhausted and slept for about an entire day. I was very nervous to send him away but my confidence in Glencadia is so high that I will definitely be sending him again. Thank you so much for taking good care of Ollie!

Shay always has such a great time at Glencadia. Will and the staff offer loving care, door-to-door pick-up and delivery and are responsive almost immediately after we write/call. They also chart his visit on Instagram, and he is obviously happily running with his new friends. Shay tells us he loves running with the other dogs on the 20 fenced-in acres, but he won’t tell us who his girlfriend is or whether he likes swimming in the lake! Our Golden-Doodle, Stella, has been going to camp for over 5 years. Sometimes for just a long weekend, sometimes for as long as 10 days and each time, when she sees Will at the curb who came to PICK HER UP IN MANHATTAN (thats right, pick up and delivery at your door!) you would think shes getting a lifetime supply of treats. Stella comes home clean, healthy, unscathed, well fed and totally relaxed. A Glencadia Dog Camper is, indeed, a lucky dog.

Love!! Excellent camp for my pups! Im based in NYC and recommend to all my friends. I know my dogs are well taken care of, and not stressed out by being crated in any capacity was most important to me. They can run free around the farm all day at their leisure and sleep cage-free. Dog care team are professional, always punctual with pickup and drop off, and always responsive and accommodating when needed. 10/10 would recommend to anyone with dogs that like to be social and are active and are medium-large breeds like mine.

We have been in the area for over a year now, and for much of the first year struggled to find the right jam for our very socialized 12 year-old mixed breed, who had a nice thing going back in SF before we moved. We tried everything from the corporate (Camp Bow Wow) to the local volunteer (CGHS). When we came across Glencadia, we were a little uncertain about the pastoral nature of the routine -- would our Louise get along with ducks and chickens? Would the running around and in-out of the barn be too strenuous? But when we saw how many expensive NYC pets were attending summer camp there, we were impressed. Will and Vern and the team has produced a unique (and highly watchable on IG) experience for dogs that really does resemble a vacation -- in a pack, running free, playing games. For the owners, something I have rarely seen, a great online reservation system, and online bill payment, texts that are answered reasonably promptly, and a totally addictive constantly-updated IG feed. We are thrilled to have found Glencadia.
