My dog Groovy loves this park with all his heart he goes everyday and especially loves it in the summer time because we bring a kiddie pool for the dogs to swim in. He has a whole group of friends and everyone there is very friendly and responsible with their fur babies i love it here and so does groovy -

This park has been kept clean all the dogs and the owners are very very friendly My Golden Doodle loves it there you make new friends all the time -
Review 3 (2023-07-12 - Rating: 5)
Of all the dog parks i go to this is generally one of the busier ones. I was there three times this week and it has always been clean and calm for both the owners and dogs. There’s fresh water for the dogs to drink and fill the kiddie pool for them to cool off -

Reopened as of 4/23/22 - this dog park is now turfed. It has small benches for seating and a small shaded section. Split into a big dog and small dog section, the space is a great upgrade for dog owners and their pups. Note, the big dog section does not have much shade aside from the little structure that was built as part of the renovation. The small dog side has a large tree that casts nice shade. -
Review 5 (2024-09-14 - Rating: 5)
Friendly and clean. Lots of fur babies come and go. One thing I would suggest for the small park is more shade cover. Being your own chair as their are not many to sit on. -
Review 6 (2023-07-31 - Rating: 4)
We tried this park for the first time today. It is so well maintained and has shade, turf, and KIDDIE POOLS that my puppy actually used! I deduct a star for the owners there on a Sunday evening. So many aggressive, growling and defensive dogs in the small dog section hiding under their owners chairs and nearly attacking my dog if she came anywhere near them while running and playing. Of course they have checked out owners who think this is fine, but we had to leave because of a dog who suddenly emerged from under the owner to chase and growl and try to corner my dog.We also saw multiple men yanking and yelling at their dogs walking up to the park. And you wonder how those dogs become so reactive. We will maybe try a less busy time of day. -
Review 7 (2018-07-15 - Rating: 5)
The dog park is separated into two areas one for the big dogs and the other side for the little dogs. Theres lots of grass so do my worry about what you see in the pictures. Theres always a place were you can sit down and watch your dogs have fun, the people are nice and the dogs are so sweet. Your dogs will always find someone to play with and you will always find someone to talk to 😊. -
Review 8 (2019-08-13 - Rating: 5)
My dog isn’t as social as she could be but the people and other dogs were awesome. They separate small dogs ( -
Review 9 (2020-12-27 - Rating: 5)
Just moved to Long Island and I honestly love this dog park. For bigger dogs, the larger dog run is huge! And glad to see a lot of it was grass and there were not wood chips. There are complementary doggie bags, a hose with drinking bowls and a small pool for dogs to bathe or lie in. Landscaping crew was outside working on the grass which was nice to see. There are some toys and balls and stuff left inside in case you forget to bring. -
Review 10 (2024-07-27 - Rating: 4)
Nice dog park, but it seemed to smell of urine when I was there last. Maybe a good anti bacterial wash down would be good. -
Review 11 (2024-07-26 - Rating: 5)
They fixed up the park very nicely, small dog area separate from large dogs, great idea -
Review 12 (2024-01-13 - Rating: 5)
The park is split in two with a side for large dogs and a side for small dogs. The groundcover is turf and the park is fairly clean. In the warmer months there is a hose spigot for fresh water. There is limited seating, so you may want to bring a folding chair if youre going to stay a while. Theres no public bathrooms, but there is a port-a-potty next to the park. In summer, the large dog section gets blasted by the sun, its best to come in early morning or late afternoon. There are usually some toys and tennis balls around the park, but if you want to bring your own toys, its ok. The dogs that show up are usually friendly, the people are laid back and not too fussy about dogs playing or chasing eachother. Overall, a nice local dog park in a quiet park of Eisenhower Park. -
Review 13 (2024-11-26 - Rating: 5)
Very clean. Everyone friendly. Absolutely nice park -
Review 14 (2019-02-10 - Rating: 5)
Deasent size dog run. I like that there is a separation between the one for small dogs and larger size, that way you can trully enjoy your dog having fun. Im my experience the other dog owners that go there are pretty friendly and so are their dogs -
Review 15 (2019-10-13 - Rating: 5)
Good, friendly park. Lots of small and big dogs. Separated by fence. Bring a chair. -
Review 16 (2023-06-15 - Rating: 5)
The dog park here has gotten so much better!! The pet turf is wonderful and keeps the dogs from getting cover in dirt. There is also fresh water available, along with a little pool and toys. My pup had a blast. -
Review 17 (2023-11-10 - Rating: 5)
My favorite kind of dog park; one with a LOT of open space. My pup is a speedy one, and he needs distance to tire himself out. No real trouble with other dogs. Every dog had an attentive owner, both behaviorally and waste removal! -
Review 18 (2024-08-04 - Rating: 4)
Nice lil park set aside, remember the main of Eisenhower Park is no dogs -
Review 19 (2022-11-13 - Rating: 5)
My dog loves this park. The owners are really nice and the dogs are very well behaved. They all play with each other and there is no aggressive behavior. Its a great place to bring your puppies to get them acclimated to playing with other dogs. -
Review 20 (2024-04-16 - Rating: 5)

Review 21 (2024-08-31 - Rating: 5)
The park was clean and spacious. Although there werent many dogs that day my baby met a few friends They played well together. The fur parents were friendly and engaged keeping everyone safe -
Review 22 (2023-03-03 - Rating: 5)
I look for three things in a great dog park:1) lot of space for the dogs2) separate big and small dog areas3) artificial turf so I can see dog poop clearly from a distance and not have to constantly scan the ground as I walk. The Eisenhower Dog Park is fantastic. -
Review 23 (2022-07-05 - Rating: 5)
They just recently renovated both of the entire dog park areas. There is all new fencing, new astroturf, benches and more. Someone kindly donated a small blue baby pool on each side and a bunch of dog toys and balls. There is running water on each side also. The dogs really love this place. -
Review 24 (2024-03-31 - Rating: 4)
Theres always a place were you can sit down and watch your dogs have fun, the people are nice and the dogs are so sweet. -
Review 25 (2018-09-29 - Rating: 5)
Great dog park! It’s nice and big but not too big where you loose track of your dog. It’s mostly packed down dirt so just don’t go after it’s rained. Otherwise it’s a great dog park with friendly people. The only issue I run into is that much fewer people go in the winter and sometime I end up there alone, which sucks as I have a husky who lives for the winter. -
Review 26 (2024-09-27 - Rating: 5)
Lots of dogs for my dog to play with. Everything a dog could want. -
Review 27 (2023-08-21 - Rating: 5)
This place has great parking and its super clean. The bike path is accessible as well. A nice point of entry into Eisenhower Park. -
Review 28 (2019-01-12 - Rating: 4)
Today was our first day at this dog park. I have a 8 month old Belgian Malinois who we recently adopted and wanted to get her socialized because shes somewhat shy. The space is great for large dogs and there is a separate fenced in area for smaller dogs. It was a little muddy in certain areas today, because like other reviews have mentioned the park consists of packed dirt as opposed to grassy areas. The other owners were very friendly and welcoming. There were about 4 large dogs there at the time and Roo got knocked around a bit, which was all in good canine fun. Just before we left, she started coming out of her shell a bit more. Had it been a bit warmer outside we would have stayed longer. Shes passed out on the living room floor now. There are no bathroom for owners and although there are trash receptacles, no additional doggie bags (most owners bring their own anyway). There are a few benches and chairs scattered about for seating. It would be nice to add a picnic table and a port-o-potty for owners. I also didnt see a working water fountain for the dogs (may be turned off because of winter). Overall, we had a positive first experience and look forward to returning. -
Review 29 (2019-05-06 - Rating: 5)
There were two dog runs, one big and one small. There were dog bowls and a water hose which was super convenient. Both runs were well maintained and safe for our animal. There was also a variety of benches for parents to sit on. Will definitely visit again. -
Review 30 (2021-04-06 - Rating: 5)
I discovered this dog park during a walk in Eisenhower Park recently. It is near the golf . There are two sections, one for larger and one for smaller sized dogs. The dogs seemed to be having a wonderful time as did their owners. There Are Rules listed on the fence before you go in. It appears to be a great place to take your dog, I certainly enjoyed watching them. -
Review 31 (2019-04-14 - Rating: 5)
So many dogs. Very clean. Very pleasant. -
Review 32 (2016-10-09 - Rating: 4)
My dog is pretty small weighing less than 30 pounds, but I still find that he is too big and active for the small dog section where people have looked down upon me for bringing him there. But in the large dog section my dog has made tons of friends and the people have all been very pleasant that I have met. -
Review 33 (2023-11-17 - Rating: 4)
Our dog loves it here. He gets to enjoy playing with other dogs and I get to run around the park which is a hair over 6miles. -
Review 34 (2018-05-19 - Rating: 4)
Large space, divided into small and large dog spaces. The County has vastly improved the parking, including handicap spots. In general the people and dogs are all friendly and cooperative. Of course there is a rude percentage who dont clean up. Waterbis available but bring your own dog bags. Of course there areMy only pet peeve, we were promised a real people toilet which has never appeared. -
Review 35 (2024-08-12 - Rating: 4)

Review 36 (2020-09-22 - Rating: 5)
Beautiful park, very friendly dogs and owners. -
Review 37 (2019-12-11 - Rating: 5)
Nice big open space. They have a big dog run and a run for smaller dogs. So far, everyone watches their dogs and is friendly. I dislike when I go to dog parks and owners are on the phone not watching how their dog is interacting. So far, everyone really watches their dogs and they have so much fun -
Review 38 (2019-06-12 - Rating: 5)
The dog areas are large and keep the small and large dogs separate via fences with double gates to prevent escape! Parking is very convenient and is at the intersection of Stewart Ave and Salisbury Park Drive in Westbury / Salisbury. There is usually a few pots available even on weekends. Water and poop bags are supplied. -
Review 39 (2017-07-10 - Rating: 4)
I am glad that they split the park into large and small. My dog is 4lbs and loves being with her little friends. I find the owners here to be so nice and welcoming to new people. -
Review 40 (2024-07-01 - Rating: 4)
Great place for my 2 dogs.Pros: Sunny, astroturfed field, 90% of the time there are poop bags, running water, two sides over 30lbs and under 30lbs, people are generally good attentive owners.Cons: almost no shade, only bathroom is a porta-potty, -

Review 43 (2018-07-04 - Rating: 5)
It’s a little dusty so my white maltese’s fur gets dirty easily here but she still has a blast here!! she’s very outgoing and i love how happy she is when i bring her here. my maltese always makes friends. i also bring my rhodesian ridgeback mix who is scared of almost everything.. bringing her here is a great opportunity for her to open up to other dogs/humans and become more trusting! so glad this dog park is close to home! i like how there is a water fountain made for dogs 👍🏾 -

I love coming to Eisenhower Dog Park with my dog. The dogs (and their owners) are always so friendly. They have two dog runs- one for larger dogs and another for smaller dogs, which is great because small dogs should be allowed to have some fun too! Id rather come farther and come here than go to Christopher Morley Park because they only have one dog run (and only larger dogs come in for the most part). Its very clean and they have water spouts for the dogs as well as toys and bowls. -
Review 100 (2021-03-10 - Rating: 4)
My dog loves it here, pretty good size field for the big dogs. Separate area for dogs under 30 lbs. So far we havent had any problems with other dogs, and people are friendly enough. Seems like people are pretty good about cleaning up after their dogs. Does get muddy when wet, so wear boots. -
Review 101 (2018-12-28 - Rating: 5)
Looks like a nice park. I like that theres a separate area for little dogs and big dogs. It was getting dark and rainy when I was here so its hard to give a full evaluation but Im thinking on a better day this would be quite a nice park. I like that there was an overhang to stand under in case the weather was bad your dog could play but you could stay dry. Will definitely come back for another visit in better weather. -
