Linda is an amazing dog trainer and a truly caring person. She spoke to me on the phone at length before I got my puppy and really calmed my nerves. Her training is tailored to your needs and wants and is done with sensitivity, creativity, and positivity. I took one of her puppy classes which I found extremely helpful. I really enjoyed working with Linda and highly recommend her!

She was in New York and we live in Wisconsin, we did it all over zoom and cameras. Our adopted 2 yr old husky greatly improved!! She gave you structure, guidance and critiques that really helped. You have to do the small steps, then get big improvements. Now we are adding time and increase all of our confidence on our own. It really worked!!!

(My dog and) I have been working with Linda for nearly the past year. My dog was a rescue with severe fear & anxiety (towards everything, you name it!) and Linda came highly recommended by many in my area. She set us on the right path, teaching me to learn his signals and how to slowly introduce him to the world around him. My new favorite pastime is figuring out what I can teach him to do with a clicker! In addition to her work with us during sessions, Linda is always very responsive to my detailed emails (seriously, they can go on for pages and pages!) which is a huge comfort knowing she is always there when needed. She even walked over one afternoon just after a blizzard last winter, after I emailed her in a panic that I couldnt get my dogs collar back on upon returning from the groomer! There are very few people that my dog will accept outside of his original pack, and Linda is one of them! And anyone whos ok in his book, is ok in mine! :)

Linda is an absolute pro. Her gentle and methodical approach to separation anxiety training helped us set our beagle up for success. We really appreciated how reliable and responsive Linda was whenever we had questions and always felt supported along the way. After a few months (and lots of practice), were finally getting our freedom back. Highly recommended!

Shortly after adopting my now 10 year-old Boxer/Pittie mix from a crowded public shelter I contacted Linda at Positive Canine Training to help Benny start his new life off on the right paw. Having met Benny while volunteering, I knew he was a good dog - Linda helped make him a great dog.We now have wonderful, miles-long walks every day without Benny dragging me down the street. His anxiety over my occasional absences is nearly gone after Linda gave me the tools to help manage his fears, behavior and emotions. And to my delight, Benny is now comfortable in the company of other dogs, which gives us a lot more freedom to arrange dog play dates and vary his daily routine. Most of all, Benny is a more balanced and happy dog. Thanks to Linda he has acclimated quickly and successfully to his new life after showing signs of serious deterioration while at the shelter.Professionally, I work with hundreds of shelters, rescues, and adopters around the country and appreciate the value of good, positive training. I recommend Linda and Positive Canine Training without reservation; if there were more than five stars available I would give them all!

I cannot say enough about Positive Canine Training and Services, LLC. And Linda. We started training remotely during the pandemic when our pup was just a few months old. Then we continued to do the puppy classes, tricks class, walking classes and good citizen classes. Now that we have a newborn we are doing private classes.Every single time we meet with Linda we learn so much not just about our pup, but about us and how we need to change to help our dog. She takes her time to train us by demonstrating what she wants us to do. She also provides emails and materials after the classes so we can continue to practice what she taught us.She is very knowledge about all topics and has suggestions for every question I’ve asked her and I ask a lot of questions. The most important part is that my pup loves these classes and especially Linda. He is learning and having fun at the same time. Thank you Linda for all that you do for us and our pups!

I was desperate for help with my 6 month old lab. Linda came to my house for our initial meeting and was kind and patient taking time to evaluate our needs. Just at the first meeting she gave me great tips that I used and still use today. We went to the group training and it was a wonderful environment. My pup was very hyper but Linda and her assistant helped me so much. We worked on so many behaviors and interacting with other dogs. We went outside and walked our dogs which was very helpful training for me. Linda encourages the entire family to get involved with the training which is so important.I really appreciate the training I received along with my dog. He is a happy , well behaved ,friendly dog. Thanks to Linda and her team.

Highly recommend Linda! I came to her for support with my highly anxious pup and her patience, kindness, and easy to follow method helped us tremendously. I can now leave the house for several hours without my dog having a meltdown, and that truly didnt feel like it would ever be possible a few months ago.

I never really believed in the usefulness of puppy classes or professional dog training but I have to say Linda has been invaluable to me getting a new puppy. I got my Puppy Rambo at 4.5 months and enrolled in the puppy class to get him exposure to some other dogs his age. Little did I know Lindas guidance and training has helped him develop into a spectacular dog and helped me become the kind of owner who can ensure their pet has a great life. Linda also stepped in to help with some separation anxiety training. While puppy class was fun an educational, the Separation anxiety was formalized and heavily focused, and the results were spectacular. Linda was able to teach me how to read my dog and work with him to being alone while I am at work. While the training is not easy, it is effective and you see improvement every day. I cannot recommend Linda and her services enough. Even better than training Rambo, she trained me to be a confident, effective, and loving dog owner.

Linda is really nice to work with. She’s very knowledgeable and gave great training suggestions for our two dogs. One is 5 months old and the other is 8 years old. During one session, Linda had us walk around the entire block so that we could get used to walking Maisy and Bentley together. Linda also sent us videos after each training session to review what we had learned. I also really liked how she demonstrated a command, like stay, and then had us work with our dogs until they both could do it successfully. I would definitely use her again for additional training.—Daria H.

One of the best trainers I know. Went through a few trainers and when I found Linda, I felt totally comfortable with her and so did my pup. My pup suffered with severe anxiety and was phobic of people. Yet, she was able to conquer his many phobias and get him to socialize in the outside world with other people and function like a normal pup. There is nothing that Linda cant do. She uses only posirive reinforcement and always is up for a challenge. She constantly is taking webinars to further enhance her learning so that she can train your pup with the best skills and knowledge out there. If you are looking for a very professional trainer who is patient and takes the time to make sure that you are comfortable and confident handling your dog and to be the best dog ever... Then she is the one for you. She teaches you much more than just basic obedience. She is very experienced and the BEST in the field. I highly recommend her.

Linda is an amazing trainer. She is extremely patient, caring and informative. I love that she follows up after lessons with informative emails and links to helpful videos. Linda is always responsive, I have reached out to her many a time in between sessions with questions and she ALWAYS responds almost immediately. And most importantly my fur baby Lilly adores her!!!! Trust me you wont find a better or more genuine trainer anywhere!!

Linda has been such a great help with my Doberman. I worked with her for 5 months and prior to her help I could not leave my pup alone to even grab the mail. She was very kind and patient as he progressed. Im very happy to be able to leave him alone now and not worry.

Linda is the best! I could tell she was really excited to work with my dog, Coco, and I can already see a big difference from our first session. I’m looking forward to our next sessions!

My dog came into the class being afraid of other dogs and barking and growling at them. I didn’t know how that was going to change. By the last class, she was In the middle of all the dogs chasing and playing with them. Thank you Linda, Pinel loves you!

I first contacted Linda a few months after I adopted my good buddy Artie. He had bad separation anxiety due to the pandemic lockdown. I couldnt even turn the door handle without him starting to worry. It became a hinderance on my daily living, a 15 min errand became a thing I had to plan to have a sitter or I couldnt go.I hung up from the first call with Linda relieved. She immediately understood the situation and reassured me that it was common, especially at that time during the pandemic, and that in a few months he could learn to be relaxed when alone. I was suspicious of the timeframe, i expected it to be a long and difficult process. She was so right that I wish I could think of a stronger way to say it. This week, Artie graduated from separation anxiety and can be alone with no problems.Linda helped us so much along the way. She came up with a plan specific to him, paid attention to things that triggered him, and would tweak our training as it went along to react. When our original training plan wasnt working as we had hoped, she scrapped it and came up with a completely new one. She really understands the different ways that dogs think, Shes in tune with indicators of stress and helped me learn what look for and how to determine the severity of the stress indicator.During our time together she also gave me great tips in other areas too, a majorly helpful one was what to do when he starts barking at he neighbors or other dogs.I know its cliché but 5 stars really isnt enough. Linda is so knowledgeable, understanding, accommodating, and friendly, as well as insightful into the mind of a dog. I cant recommend PCT strongly enoughRelevant photo is Artie, relaxing alone in the house without a care given

I would definately recommend Linda as a trainer. Our Dog is a hyper lab mix and Linda was able to get him to obey commands and teach him to have patience. She also was able to train him to allow us to walk him as we could never do before. Linda was very passionate about teaching Duncan and would even stay passed the time slot we paid for. We were very happy with her.
