My puppy Xya went for the 2 week training with Jose. She came back a completely different puppy. Well mannered, walked on the leash and was doing basic commands. She was also socialized and now doesn’t go crazy with other dogs but gets along with them. I definitely would recommend Bark & Birch. Especially our trainer Jose who was very communicative while he had my girl with him and did a wonderful job with her!!

I choose custom program to help and improve my dog. My dog is a husky, this program totally save my life lol. Although it is expensive, it is totally worth it! My dog makes lots of friends there and he becomes more steady and obedient after 3 weeks.They made a group chat, everyday the trainer send the video of him. I can see how they take care of him and what method they used to train my dog.Our trainer is Racheal, she is really nice and professional. She always reply me in time, and she cares our opinion. We will definitely let her train our dog again in the future!All of my friends around me are saying that the dog has changed a lot, thank this team again. I definitely recommend this one!

Anthony was our trainer and Milo loved him. Milo needed to learn how to walk on a leash so he focused specially on that. He kept us updated everyday on his progress. Milo improved tremendously and we are so happy with the training.

Loved trainer Kristi and how she communicated with the videos plus some extra videos of the dog enjoying the environment with the other dogs. Enjoyed being able to see the dogs progress and how realistic she was with the reality of your dog coming home and not being perfect. As dog owners we have HW to do and need to continue with the training. Hoping that our dog will keep up with commands!My only wish is that I would’ve been instructed how I should have my dog “live” or the expectations once she was back home. I wasn’t expecting to make sure she was only confined to a space when we have an open yard. Also would’ve done more weeks of training. Overall do not regret doing the training for my wild dog!

I’m very happy with the help and service they gave me. My dog “Ella” has improved a lot with her anxiety problems every time I left the house and left her alone while I had to work. They taught me and her how to behave and now everything is much easier and more relaxed. Highly recommended

I just moved to LA and found Tyson was getting real anxiety being alone in a new home while I went to work. My main worry was that every time I left he howled, and I saw on puppy cam that he wouldn’t rest. The team got back to me quickly to book me/him in, and the training was amazing. He did the 4 week rehab and he’s come back so much better, and less stress for Tyson means less stress for me!

I am very satisfied and pleased with the outcome of the 3 weeks my Schatzi spend with Samuel and Sonny, he had severe seperation anxiety and could not be left alone at all, would just bold out any open door if he seen a chance, when he came home I was so surprised how much better he was.Samuel and Sonny did a outstanding job communicating with me during the 3 weeks and provided Videos so I can keep the training up. I recommend and give it the 5☆☆☆☆☆

Kristi was our trainer, and she was amazing! We have a Doberman puppy, and she is very experienced with the breed. She kept us updated the whole time. Our puppy had the usual puppy problems- jumping, play biting, pawing, being easily excited, potty accidents in the house, etc. Kristi worked on all of that and more with our puppy. She would send multiple pictures and videos and instructions on what they were working on each and everyday day for the whole two weeks our puppy was away. She is very detailed while explaining what she is doing, but also does it in a way that is easy to understand and easy to relate to. Every time she is working on a command with the dog, she explains to us how and why she is doing what she is doing. I would highly recommend Kristi for all of your dog needs, she is the best!

Bark and Birch has excellent training for dogs. Very individualized, especially for our older and insecure dog. Kristis daily video reports provided great instruction and insight into our dog’s issues. The first day of Shelby’s being home went very well, with her transitioning to following my commands. Absolutely money well spent.

Sam was beyond incredible with Ginger. We received update videos every day for the entire time Ginger was away. Each video was educational and we’ll definitely be using them as a reference as we implement her training at home. Ginger also looked extremely happy so we know she was not only learning while away, but having a great time! Would definitely recommend Bark & Birch and Sam for any dog needing a bit of help.

Kristi Mallet is the trainer I chose to go with and I was not let down. My puppy was already potty trained and could do commands but very very eager on a leash. I decided to go with Bark And Birch to get help controlling him on the leash because he’s a giant Bernedoodle and I have never encountered an issue with this before. Because of his sweet nature I had a hard time training him with corrections and being more stern and Kristi has taught us immensely how to do that in a loving manner. When my puppy sees her he automatically goes into an obedience mood and knows he has to behave lol . We have all established a great relationship with her and appreciate her value and energy.

I am completely satisfied with the results of my dogs training. It was wonderful to get updates and be apart of the changes taking place. The trainers Sunny and Sam were absolutely amazing! Such a wonderful experience from start to finish, I would recommend them to everyone!

Kristi Mallett is a miracle worker. I cannot state just how much we appreciate all that she has done in as little as two weeks. My wife and I rescued our Lab Terrier Betty, at 4 months, and tried our hardest at basic obediance and training. Four months later we were at our wits end and found Bark and Birch. They connected us with Kristi and she was very communicative throughout the whole process. We received daily videos, pictures and updates. The videos will later be used for your own recall and training. Even on the return, Kristi took her time and patience to reintroduce the new Betty back into her environment. This was a very crucial step in preventing Betty from back sliding. Betty was a new dog. She respected us, understood her commands and was obedient. We continue to sharpen her obedience and training with the videos we have and this was money well spent. Kristi also has a complimentary check up within 12 weeks and also let us know we can reach out to her with any questions we may have. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

So far a great experience with Bark & Birch, and especially with their trainer Kristi Mallet in Long Beach. I trusted her with my lil guy Samwise (Sheepadoodle) who was just 4 months old. Every day Kristi would send me pictures and video updates/lessons that she would go over with my puppy. Would be a highlight of my day not only because I obviously missed my dog but also because I was happy to see him enjoying himself and learning a lot very quickly. At the end of his board and train Kristi came by to drop Sam off and it was really such a huge difference in his behavior. She really did a great job giving us instruction on how to really lay a good foundation with Sam’s training. I am so glad I chose Kristi and would recommend her highly to anyone that wants to build some really good communication with their dog. THANK YOU KRISTI!!

Kristi, our trainer, was incredibly communicative and professional and did a wonderful job laying the foundations for me and my pup to have a healthy relationship. She sent daily videos walking me through everything my pup was learning, and helped me process all the new information at the end of the 3 weeks training.

My name is Elizabeth Rothrock and I have been experiencing behavioral problemswith my dog since I got her. I tried a few behavioral pet specialists coming to myhouse for in person analysis and training sessions, with no avail. After years ofher incessant barking I found it difficult to handle myself. I contacted Bark and Birchon September 24th for a 3 week obedience training period. They put me in contactwith Sunny and we scheduled a pick up for September 27th. After Sunnys initialreview of her behavioral problems she decided that 5 weeks would probably be muchmore beneficial for Ruthie (my dog).I found her to be extremely caring, empathetic and very assuring that I could achievesuccess with her input and training. She was always available to answer any questionsor concerns that I had. Her texts, video updates helped explain the reasoning for herparticular training methods. I had much less anxiety with being away from my dog, thanksto her videos and communication. I found the proofing very valuable when she and Saminteracted with Ruthie separately.Lastly, she and Sam did excellent hand off training and answered my questions even afterthe hand off. I would highly recommend Bark and Birch (and particularly Sunny and Samfor any pet owners feeling like there is no answer. I am grateful and hope to use them inthe future should anything arise.

Charlie has been home for two days, and of course we are so happy to have him back. Even better is the fact that he is so responsive to the commands that Sunny has taught him. He seems very confident using all the ‘cues’ and happy to get praise for his good behaviour!!Sunny was wonderful to work with. We were kept very informed along the way and it’s helpful to have all the training reports to refer to to help us with his transition. I rescued an American Bully back on June. Everything about her was perfect at first, she got along with my other Bully and everything was good but slowly she was starting to show aggression towards other dogs and also guests that came to my house. I tried a couple trainers but got no result. I found Bark & Birch on Google and read their good reviews I decided to give it a try. They sent me the trainer Manny. I wanted my dog to not show aggression towards others but also at the same time be alert and keep her instinct of guarding the house against intruders. At first I wanted to do a two weeks board and train but after meeting with Demi( my dog) Manny recommended a custom program which was six private lessons to let Demi feel comfortable with him and then follow with a two weeks boarding. We went thru with the program. Demi came back a completely different dog. Manny told me she still needs a lot of training by me at home and he always guides me on the phone after Demi came back. Last week two guys tried to break in my house when I was not home but were scared away by Demi. I saw the whole thing thru my security camera and thank god she got the professional training by Manny she reacted like a pro and I was so glad I had her in the house. I highly recommend Manny. One thing that really impressed me besides his professionalism was he actually thanked me for rescuing this dog. That says a lot about him, he do this job because of the love and passions for these dogs not for the money. We have since actually became friends and if I have to find a trainer for my other dogs down the line I will not take anyone besides him. He is by far the best trainer I have ever came across all these years. Definitely five stars and more👍👍👍

I wouldn’t hesitate to tell you to utilize their services - it’s the smartest, best choice for your dog and you!!

Racheal was my trainer in Florida for my dog Jimmy. I was extremely pleased with her services and would recommend her and the company Bark & Birch to anyone that needs help in correcting any bad behaviors their dog may have or just getting help in all the basic commands. My dog Jimmy seemed to have been traumatized by a kid who ran around him at the airport screaming at him with a toy in his hand. Every time since that incident Jimmy would see any kid on the street or in an elevator and he would bark as soon as he saw them. He used to pull on his leash whenever I walked him and was constantly distracted not listening to my commands. I couldn’t believe the difference in Jimmy when he returned from training. I walked Him everywhere and following the tips she gave me , using her command words Jimmy was a perfectly calm and obedient dog. The best investment I’ve ever made and Jimmy is so happy. The trainer Racheal Simpson is the best trainer and I would Highly recommend her. The 2 week with boarding was worth every penny.

Sunny has been amazing! Ive had multiple dogs and can do the basics; she is helping to take basics to the next level. She listens to our needs and adjusts to the responsiveness of our puppy. I couldnt be happier with the huge progress weve had in just a few weeks!!

Ivan Rios was amazing. He was professional, reliable and thorough. We have a black lab that needed serious behavior modifications. Ivan worked very hard and taught him a lot. We also learned a lot. I would recommend Bark & Birch to anyone. They are reasonably priced and always followed up when I had questions. Thanks so much Ivan Rios. Sawyer will miss you!

I have a 2 year old Yorkipoo, Jennie Rebecca. She is deaf and has some visual problems. Jennie had a lot of anxiety and barking issues. Then she started showing aggression/ possession issues, mainly over food. Overall, her early discipline training was non-existent because I felt sorry for her handicaps, which is crazy as we all need to learn manners and boundaries, even handicapped “kids”! Jennie was placed in the training care of Sunny and Sam and they became family to Jennie and me! She was not their average trainee and gave them challenges, which they met. They sent texts and videos of her progress everyday and we talked on the telephone to make sure we were always on the same page! Jennie spent 30 days with Sunny and Sam and came home to me a calmer, better behaved girl! There is still much I need to work on myself to make Jennie the best she can be, but I know that Sunny and Sam will be there when the problems come up! They already have been! Thank you Sunny and Sam!

Our Bertie recently got back from a 4 week “Board and Train” program to help with his separation anxiety. I’m amazed. If you would have asked me before if we could leave him alone for 4/5 hours I would never have believed you. Now we can leave the house without feeling guilty. He doesnt bark and whine. Such progress in 4 weeks.

I couldnt ask for better company. They took my dog from a dog who was Not sociable around other dogs, people or even kids. To dog who go in public places be around kids adults , dogs. Is so better at commands. They stop my dog from pulling on leach . Lottie had 121 sessions with Jose to improve her reactivity. Before we found it difficult to take her on walks in the city as bicycles and skateboards would make her uneasy. After only a few sessions we see a big difference!!
