Ollie loves D is for Doggy!! I chose the D is for Doggy on 22nd street because it had outdoor space, but we keep going because he loves it so much. Ollie goes there for boarding whenever we travel. I look at the video cameras periodically and I always see the best interactions including him getting lots of pets and belly rubs. I know he loves it because whenever we are heading there he literally pulls me along. Highly recommend! -

We have had our Coco at the 22nd Street D is for Doggy since October of 2021. Coco is a 4 year old rescue Rat Terrier Border Collie. She was in 10 foster homes in the first 12 weeks of life. We adopted her and have had her since she was a young pup. She is very sweet and super smart but overanxious and restless in most new settings. The staff at D is for Doggy have cared for Coco with very individualized attention. Most of the staff has had her both in day care and onboarding experiences. They know her routines. They let her thrive. They are loving to her and spoil her! 🙂So may folks have been involved. She adores Deasia. But everyone is loving to her. Thank you Sabrina, Destiny and everyone who have loved her.The staff here is top notch. I recommend with no hesitation. -

Our pup literally jumps for joy every time she visits. She loves all of the staff, and receives extremely high level care and attention. We deeply appreciate the staffs expertise and proactivity, how well they know and how deeply they care for all the pups. -

Our dog Benny went to D is for Doggy for daycare and boarding for 2 years, starting when he was just 5 months old. We recently moved out of NYC and leaving D is for Doggy was one of the hardest parts of our move! We couldnt walk down the same block as D is for Doggy if Benny wasnt going that day, because he would just drag us straight to the door. He practically broke the door down running inside every day. It was truly his second home and we always felt at ease leaving Benny there when we were traveling. The staff provides consistent photos and updates and it is very clear how much they care for all of the dogs there. We would definitely recommend D is for Doggy 22nd St to anyone in the area. -

When our dog turns on 22nd street from 7th avenue, he knows he goes to Disfordoggy, and he stops just in front of the place. They know him by name, and he knows he is well treated there. Sure, the grounds could be bigger (the little yard at this location is a plus) but it’s New York City. I trust the people and that is very important. -

I’m a dog trainer and one of my clients had me drop off and pick up his dog from grooming here today, and I want to give the groomer the deserved accolades. No one has been able to trim this dog’s back dew claws but me, as a past vet tech, and even I dread it. Plus the haircut is spot-on (dad gave lots of instructions, too). Can’t say enough good things. I love these guys. -

What a great group of caring employees. They def love dogs and it shows. Take my mini Aussie girl for day care a few days a week and she loves it, always leaves happy and tuckered out from playing. Great to check in with their cameras too. Recommend this place! -

My dog doesnt need boarding very often and I frequent this place less and less nowadays. But I wouldnt hesitate to use them again in a heartbeat. Very friendly and very caring staff. After her first boarding, I called back 3 months later to make an another appointment for Daphne, and without skipping a beat, I was asked, little Daphne or big Daphne? I said probably the big one (shes 70lbs) and right away they remembered her and were excited to have her staying with them again 🐶 -

D is for Doggy is ideal for small, medium dogs. They have separate rooms and a beautiful backyard. The team is gentle and caring and truly loves dogs. And Marley never wants to come home!! A real city retreat!! -

Very friendly staff and amazing service. Case in point: our flight was delayed on the way home from a short weekend trip, pushing our arrival about an hour past normal opening hours. When we called to let the staff know about the situation, they arranged a late pickup for us, so we were able to swing by a closed store and pick up Klaus (our puppy). And of course, Klaus always comes home exhausted and happy. -

Incredible staff - all true dog lovers and trustworthy - and very clean facilities. They seem to have a lot of clients and that’s no coincidence! Dogs seemed very happy, calm and under control. -
