I cant say enough great things about D is for Doggy! From the moment we walked in, I knew my little pup was in good hands. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly love dogs. My pup, Kobe, is always so excited to go, and its obvious he has the best time playing with the other dogs and getting all the attention from the caregivers.What really sets this place apart is how attentive they are to each dogs needs. Whether its making sure my dog gets enough playtime or giving him a quiet space to rest when needed, they go above and beyond to keep every dog happy and comfortable. They even send me updates and pictures throughout the day, which totally puts my mind at ease. I love the option of the live webcam to drop in and watch and see how much fun he is having with his friends.The facility itself is clean, safe, and spacious, with plenty of room for the dogs to run around and play. An extra bonus was that D is for Doggy allowed us to host Kobes first birthday there! It made his day even more special.Overall, D is for Doggy, has been a game changer for me and my pup. Its comforting to know that hes not only being well cared for but also having a blast while Im at work. The only negative, is that my pup loves this place so much, I cannot walk him around the area during after-hours because he will pull on the leash with such determination and sit at the front door for several minutes, refusing to move in hopes he can go back in and play! So we try to avoid the block unless hes going to daycare so he doesnt get too heartbroken when they are closed for the night. Highly recommend this place to any dog owner!

My four-year-old Maltese has been a regular at D is for Doggy for over a year. He is a happy, healthy, well-adjusted pup, ready for any social setting!The staff is incredibly friendly, caring and provides personalized attention to every dog. One standout feature is that you can bring your dog’s food, request specific feeding times, and they will have their own space to eat. They also provide pads for pad-trained dogs like mine. The camera in the play area allows me to check in and see how my dog is socializing and when he naps. I’m thrilled we discovered this place, and I have recommended it to several friends in my building!

Always bring my dog here when I’m in NYC, and they’re amazing. The staff is so caring, and the dogs are clearly happy and well taken care of. Highly recommend if you need a dependable daycare!

Dog Grooming Services ReviewAki does a fantastic job grooming our Australian Shepherd, Reese. Reese has a two layer coat so we have to be very careful not to over groom him. Aki takes extreme care to trim him in just the right spots to clean him up but does not cut his fur too short. Reese also gets very anxious and she does a great job managing his high energy.

Chili jumps for joy at the door when we get to daycare! He has so much fun and is exhausted at the end of the day which is perfect after a long day at work! Thankful to the staff at D is for doggy!

Such a wonderful place to send your pup! My dog has the time of his life and it’s so nice to be able to check up and see how he’s doing. Sirius can be shy at first but all the members of the 84th street team have been so patient and wonderful with him; he runs into doggie daycare now instead of trying to follow me!

Love this place! I feel totally at peace with leaving my pup here. They remember his name every time he is dropped off (once a week or so). I love that they have a live puppy cam and I often see a worker giving my pup hugs and pets. The staff is really friendly and you can tell they really love the dogs.

I cannot recommend this location enough! The staff is so friendly and they give individual attention to each dog. It’s clear that they love each pup and go above and beyond to make sure they are socializing correctly and taken care of. Our four month old puppy has only been three times and he’s gained so much confidence and made so much progress socializing with other dogs thanks to the staff. They have a camera in the room and you can log on to the website to check in and watch the dogs. The staff also sends you photos and videos of your pup. I’m so happy we found this doggy day care!!

A few months back we started bringing our pup here and it was one of the best decisions we made. The staff is warm and welcoming, and give a lot of love and attention to our little guy. They take great care of the dogs, keep the place clean, and have good communication with dog parents. They also are open late on the weekdays, which is great for those with evening shifts or long work hours, and they have weekend hours too. We love the camera option to check in on our doggo during the day, and he’s always having a great time with the other dogs. We are so happy we made the switch to D is for Doggy and highly recommend the place for anyone looking daycare for their fur baby!

D is for Doggy is a home away from home for our puppy! She sprints to daily daycare where she is received with love, amazing care, and a great community of furry pals. The staff, Christina, Kim, and Shakerah, show our dog unconditional love and closely monitor her well-being, feeding, and health throughout the day. We love the email updates we receive and watching our pup on the camera. D is for Doggy is also great with walks, pick-ups, drop-offs, grooming and puppy playtime. The company really does it all and we HIGHLY recommend their services!

My dog, Pippa, absolutely loves D is for Doggy! In fact, even on days where she doesn’t go, she’s always trying to drag us in the direction. Once we made the mistake of casually walking by and she sat down in front of the D is for Doggy entrance and refused to move (we had to carry her home).Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Facility is clean and includes large plastic “steps” and tunnels for the dogs to play on/in. Prices are very fair relative to local competition. I also love that we can check on her at anytime through their Nest video feed. They also email us photos of her most days.

We’ve been coming to this location since it opened (switched from 94th because 84th was much closer to our apartment) and our dog was a puppy. We’ve been super happy with them since Day 1. They are attentive, professional and always email or call when there are any issues, and have great recommendations for anything you might need. When covid hit, and they had to close for a few months we had to avoid that block because otherwise our pup would pull us right to the door and sit there waiting to be let in, which should tell you how much she enjoys it since she is otherwise a complete Velcro dog. I never have to worry about her when she’s there. Can’t recommend them enough.

I’ve been going to the Amsterdam location which is amazing but recently moved to the east side. Heard 84thst just opened and I couldn’t get there quick enough. Same great staff, web cams, big space. Didn’t miss a beat. I wish I could give them 6 stars. The only place I will ever bring my pup Lucy!

D is for Doggy is an excellent facility for doggy daycare. They have lovely, friendly staff and a camera where you can see your dogs all day long. They keep all dogs (large and small) together which creates a great atmosphere!
