Our 3-year-old Vizsla has been going to Puppy Loft since she was five months old, and its truly her second home. The staff is so loving and playful, and they truly care for the dogs. Shes always so happy when we pick her up and exhausted for hours after! Its an enriching place for her to play and be a dog around other dogs safely. Its the only place we feel comfortable leaving her overnight because there is always someone with the dogs throughout the night and there are a variety of sleeping options (not just locked in a kennel alone). Its truly her second home, and long after our city days are over we plan to bring her back for visits and boarding. Puppy Loft makes being a dog owner in the city much more enjoyable. We are very grateful for their service and highly recommend if you are looking for a caring and well-run business for your doggy.

Love bringing my two pups Lucky and Ace when I’m out of town it’s a safe place and they are very well taken care of, all the staff Are super sweet and Nelson always makes sure all the pups are taken care of, he understands those are our baby’s ,absolutely the best doggie day care in Town.

My boy, Luc, loved spending a day here! Every time I brought him, he did not want to leave. The people running the place care about the dogs and take great care of them.I also had them groom my puppy. They did a wonderful job.It is unfortunate that I was only in the City temporarily and cannot use their service any longer.I highly recommend Puppy Loft.

I took my dog here for 2 years and cannot say enough good things! The staff is incredibly caring and I never had to worry about my baby. They also offer grooming while they are in daycare and boarding where the staff stays overnight. They have great hours and are flexible with your schedule. I just moved out of NYC and we will miss Puppy Loft!

Our dog, Ruthie, has been going to daycare at Puppy Loft for several years and she absolutely loves it. We can tell the staff there care for her deeply and know shes in good hands. We use Puppy Loft regularly for daycare and have used them twice for boarding. Our dog - a hound mix with lots of energy - always has the best time and comes home exhausted! You can tell the staff is very caring and attentive, and when boarding our dog, the team there is quick to provide updates as requested, which we really appreciate. Our dog runs/gallops down the street whenever we get close to approaching Puppy Loft. Highly recommend!

My dog Sophie has been going to daycare at Puppy Loft about 3 half days per week this month. She loves it there - you can tell by how she runs into the back as soon as I drop her off with nary a glance back at me. Sniff. Doesnt make me sad I swear. Even when we arent headed there, she will stop in front of the door whenever we pass by on the sidewalk. She clearly has positive associations with Puppy Loft!Everyone is so nice and responsive. And I love the webcam! Its nice to check in and see her playing with the other dogs or just napping on one of the many beds. The dogs are walked regularly and you can see staff members going in and out all the time, giving all the dogs some individualized attention throughout the day. The prices are much lower than I expected as well. Ive used their bath services once - we arent regular users because she has a groomer who she loves and Ill bathe her at home if needed but it is so great having that option to drop off at daycare and pick up a freshly bathed dog! Havent used their boarding services yet, but we will for the first time this weekend.Sophie and I love Puppy Loft and recommend to anyone needing to board their dog in Manhattan.

Gabby was amazing! She set my mind at ease as I was out of town and needed to find a safe place to take my puppies for a few hours. My boys were new to puppy lofts day care, so they had a hard time being challenged by the other daycare members, so my boys were taken to a quiet place to relax. When i picked my boys up, they were happy to see me but didnt at all seem anxious. I will use their service the next time Im in New York.

The team at Puppy Loft has been fantastic with Zoe! She is a high-energy puppy, so it has been nice to drop her off for a couple of hours to burn off some energy and meet dog friends. The web camera is the best, and the team is great about engaging with the dogs to ensure a fun, safe environment. Cannot say enough good things about our experience! Thank you!

After touring many daycare facilities around the city, it became clear that puppy loft was the place for my dog. I bought an annual package for my dog goose, who is a two year old yellow lab.I could not be more impressed with Puppy Loft! Not only are they super knowledgeable about dogs, but they also love dogs and it shows! Nelson, the owner, is great with dogs and is very present at the location and involved with the dogs, and Aline is great as well! When I drop goose at puppy loft on the way to work, I know that he is in the best of hands. And, every morning, he literally runs into puppy loft because he’s excited to be there too!

Absolutely love puppy loft. My dog Walker has been bringing her dogs over for 10 years. She recommended the place for my sweet boy shadow. The cameras are great if you have more separation anxiety than your dog :)They’d end updates how he’s doing and really just love what they do. You can tell.Definitely recommend puppy loft ❤️

Fantastic place to board your dog. I was out of the country for about 10 days, and as a new New Yorker, was admittedly very worried about leaving my dog with an unknown boarder for that long. Puppy Loft took absolutely amazing care of her. When I picked her up she was happy and healthy (and exhausted, which is always a good sign). Not only did they give me a 10% discount because of the length of stay, but offered to groom my dog for free - which they were even willing to give me at a later date due to a scheduling snafu. Couldnt speak more highly of the folks and service at Puppy Loft, we will be customers for as long as we are in the neighborhood (and probably after!)

We have been taking our puppy to Puppy Loft for daycare, overnight boarding, and baths since he was fully vaccinated and he absolutely loves it here. He’ll drag us here from over a block away. If our experience is any indication, Nelson and his whole team truly love all of the dogs that stay with them. Hi. Yes, Puppy Loft is clean. I was concerned about my dog being nervous, so staff put Charro in a separate gated area. I do wish the staff waited a bit longer to start introducing the smaller dogs one by one. Not so many at once. Overall, a good day care. They were so nice to give me complimentary 3 hours of day care to test my dog.

Puppy Loft is great! Excellent staff. Very knowledgeable, reliable, and communicative. Its clear they love animals and are all about the dogs.Our dog goes to daycare M-F and regularly gets bathed & groomed.We get pictures of our pup during the day and they have been very flexible around home drop-offs, late picks when life comes up. Definitely willing to go the extra mile.

Ive been going to Puppy Loft a few times a month to have my 3-year old Princess groomed. My girl is a Shih Tzu and she has a beautiful coat that needs special treatment. Nelsons staff takes care of her from start to finish. When she is ready they contact me promptly. I highly recommend them because they will groom your pet exactly to your specification. Princess always leaves happy just like dad! Keep up the good work!!!

Nelson and everyone at the Puppy Loft have been so incredible and helpful for me and my partner and, of course, our dog! We are both working bizarre hours for a short amount of time and dropping our dog off at the puppy loft has been our saving grace. We pick her up and she’s exhausted from a day of fun. Our go to spot in Chelsea!

We are very pleased with our experience with Puppy Loft and all staff, down to calling in regards to boarding to the actual process of first time boarding our puppy. We came to New York from Wyoming and we needed to board our 12 week old puppy for one of the nights due to going to concert. Everyone was so helpful and kind! Our puppy Rowan spent time at day care and did an overnight and he was very well cared for. When we walked back to Puppy Loft because we forgot a few things Rowan was eager to get in the door, he thought he was going to go play again. We can’t thank them enough. We will be using their services again in the future.

We have been using Puppy Loft since 2013, which we lived two blocks away. We continued to use their daycare and boarding services when we moved to Brooklyn and then even when we moved to the suburbs in Westchester. They are that good. Our dog has lots of anxiety issues but he is so happy when he goes to Puppy Loft, running toward the door, rather than hunkering down on the sidewalk when we go to the vet. He loves the team there and as much as I hate traveling without him when we go on vacation, I’m glad he is always in good hands.

Murray, my 1.5 year old puppy, loves playing at Puppy Loft! Once we start walking in that direction he runs the whole way and if I dont carry him out at the end of the day, he wont leave... even after a 10 hour day at Puppy Loft he still wants more! The dogs there are super friendly and so is the staff!!!! Jason, Jonathon and Nelson send pics throughout the day too! I highly recommend you try Puppy Loft!!!!

I cant say enough good things about the staff at Puppy Loft! My dog Chili can get anxious around large groups of dogs and they made special accommodations to make sure he feels happy and safe. They also already remembered Chilis name on only his second visit. Its so clear how much they care about all of the dogs they take care of.

I don’t usually write reviews but had to write one immediately after I reached home with my dog!My dog Theo and I just moved from Australia and were sceptical about finding good dog grooming places!Theo is extremely anxious and isn’t too fond of grooms and baths. After doing some research about groomers around my area (Chelsea) I decided to go with puppy loft.Nelson was amazing and very patient when I was telling him about Theo and he told me not to worry!A couple of hours later and Theo smells amazing. He’s gone from an extremely shaggy dog to a tiny little neatly trimmed puppy!Even he seems happy with his “haircut”!Thank you Nelson! We’ll definitely be back!

So, I have a very shy pup.. in my eyes she’s perfect. But she did need to be socialized … I went to see a few places but as soon as I walked into Puppy Loft, I felt safe and knew she would be too. We have taken our puppy Jolly to Puppy Loft multiple times for grooming and had a very good experience. Jolly has been groomed each time as we had instructed. Once, Jolly was matted quite a bit unfortunately and I was worried about his grooming experience. Puppy Loft staff took their time, I believe that time it took them more than 6 hrs to groom Jolly, groomed him really well and didnt even charge us extra. They us Jollys pictures and videos as he is being groomed and I like those updates too. We chose Puppy Loft after reading so many reviews of almost all grooming services in Manhattan and speaking with other parents in the dog park and I am very happy that we found Puppy Loft.

Great place for daycare and boarding in the Chelsea area. Our dog can sometimes be a little reactive/barky around people when he is scared, but everyone at Puppy Loft has been very patient and understanding with him. We recently had to board him for about a week while we traveled, and it was nice to be able to watch our dog on the Puppy Loft webcam while we were away. We have used them three times already and will continue to use them for the foreseeable future.

Puppy Loft was recommended to me by my Puppy Trainer and was a God-Send!! My puppy REALLY needed time away from me, and socialization with other puppies. It also allowed me to have some free time to run errands, etc. I was shocked at their pricing as I expected to pay SO much more ... after several a la carte sessions, I bought one of the great packages they offer. Nelson is AMAZING ... sends me videos, gives me reports on how shes doing, etc.. The difference in my pup (now 9 months) is AMAZING ... shes a GREAT player at the dog park now when we go. Im SO thankful for Puppy Loft. If youve got stuff to do ... or worry about separation anxiety cause your puppy/dog is always with you, call Nelson at Puppy Loft ... youll be SO pleasantly surprised!

For at least 10 years our dog Rex, a minipoodle, was always welcome at Puppy Loft and always well cared-for. On the occasions when he boarded at Puppy Loft we never had a moments worry about him. And we also had him groomed regularly. To be honest: Rex wasnt the easiest dog to care for but we were always gratified by the warmth, thoughtfulness and care shown by the staff. We have in the past recommended Puppy Loft to friends.

Puppy Loft is my favorite place to take Puff! He seems calm and comfortable there (which isnt common for my anxious pup), and I love that I can watch him interact with other dogs on the webcams. I cannot recommend their grooming and boarding services enough!

As a first time dog owner, I was so hesitant to leave my dog in any day care not knowing the kind of conditions my puppy would face alone. I didnt need to worry about anything with The Puppy Loft. From the moment I walked in the door, Samantha and her workers there made me and Mr. Bojangles feel right at home. EVERYONE is friendly, hard-working and sincere and since they genuinely care about dogs make sure to give every visitor all the attention they deserve. The facilities are well lit and always maintained; you even get a report card with pictures at the end of the day highlighting what your best friend has been up to while away from you. I would recommend the Puppy Loft to anyone who needs a good groomer/walker/day care facility/boarder and loves their pet!!

Our American Bulldog was quite comfortable at the PuppyLoft. It is a very easy and reasonably priced choice for dog boarding. When we checked her in, the staff quickly and efficiently contacted her vet to make sure she was up to date on her shots. Highly Recommended.

For the past two years, my dog (my son) has been going to Puppy Loft. They have cared for him, groomed him and accommodate every special need Ive had.The staff is friendly and always willing to help in any way desired by the client. My baby (as I call it) is always happy to go and play with his friends.The facility are not luxurious, but the care and the service more than makes up for it. Every time I see my baby happy to be there, it assures me that he is well cared for.His grooming is impeccable. My baby is groomed every week and they make sure he looks his best every day before I pick him up. Every single day, I receive compliments on how well groomed he is and what a fantastic job I do caring for him.Management is happy to comply with every request one may have. I recommend Puppy Loft for anyone who wants to feel like his dog is being treated and cared for as if it was one self running the place.

We love the gang at Puppy Loft. We started using them after adopting our young pit bull who is very high energy. One or two 30 minute walks a day werent cutting it and she was barking and destroying things when left alone. Now she spends her day playing in a big room and comes home exhausted. She passes out on the sofa for the rest of the night. We get incredible photos of her during the day from the staff with her playing with the other dogs, and everyone is always so friendly and happy to see us. Couldnt recommend them more!

Weve had three really good experiences leaving our 2 yr old pup for half-days, especially when its too hot for him to get enough exercise outdoors in NYC. He gets socialization in a safe, well-monitored, clean setting. And I love that I can watch him on the puppy-cam. :)

Our English Bulldog Bingley loves Puppy Loft. Its so convenient. I work in the building around the corner and I drop him off and pick up super easy. The best is that they are open until 7pm (covid hours) and so I dont have to rush to leave the office. Just simply head over and pick up Bingley when im done with work.BIngley loves it. I have the puppy cam running in the background at work to check on him from time to time. He loves it there.Nelson is super caring. Bingley had a recovering hot spot that I forgot to mention and Nelson spotted it, sent a text over to see if it was an allergy or what.Also LOVE how hes so exhausted afterwards that when he goes home, he just knocks out and sleeps!

I took my Jack Russell to Puppy Loft for years when I lived in Chelsea for daycare, over nights and baths.Lori the manager and the entire team were so good with him. Frankie is a shelter dog that has had a few issues before i adopted him at Age 3. Plus being a terrier he is very high energy. Big personality in a little dog.They put him on the treadmill and let him play with the big dogs because they were his favorite.I miss going there but I live in Hells Kitchen and it’s not as convenient to get to now.I highly recommend Puppy Loft. They have cameras so you can log into your phone and watch your dog interact with the others.Thank you

Puppy Loft has been a second home for my dog since she was a little pup when the doors opened in 2008. She’s a senior now and still enjoys going. The crew is fantastic and you won’t find a kinder, sweeter, gentler person than the groomer, Salvador. Your dog will be in great hands, no matter the service.

When we are getting close he starts getting really excited, which I always see as a good sign, and he always greets the staff with his big dorky smile. Wish I could give 10 stars. The staff is amazing. Jonathan, the manager, is so friendly and the entire staff truly treated my dog like he was theirs. Arthur loved going there so much I had to drag him home. They picked Arthur up and dropped him off at my apartment for me - every day and even sometimes on weekends when I needed a last second change of plans. They were always super respectful in my home, put Arthur’s collar and leash away exactly where I would ask and they’d refill his water. The daycare is great because the staff would send me pictures and videos of my dog playing and having a great time - they also have a webcam I would check in on.The list of positives goes on. Truly all you need to know is that the entire staff will treat your dog with nothing but love and kindness and respect. The rates are also the best in town.

Nigel is a member of the house band. He has been in Puppy Loft Day Care since the day the shop opened more than 11 years ago. Nigels favorite thing to do is running on the treadmill every morning.Nelson (the owner) and his staff are kind and compassionate and truly love the dogs. His team is always in the day care rooms playing catch with the dogs or giving the dogs belly rubs. Supervision of the dogs in each room is just one example of the quality of care the dogs receive.Salvador is a fabulous groomer as you can see from Nigels photo.Nigel boards at Puppy Loft too!Please stop by and say hello to the Puppy Loft Team. Sometimes as we walk on 26th we run into a Puppy Lofter, Willie gets so excited to say hello, dashing ahead and pulling his leash to run to whoever is on the street.

Every time I pass by seems very clean and happy place , I passed by this Saturday 4/10/2017 and they actually take your dogs for Walks & the guy walking them was very nice when I spoke to him about how puppy loft was & he actually was having fun walking with them and doing a little running having fun with them it looked so cute , I think his name was was edward if Im not mistaken but you guys deserve 5 stars, you guys take very good care of the dogs & actually care about the dogs.Pretty Awesome Honestly!!!Keep Up The Great Work Staff!

OMG!! My Jack-a-doodle, Bandit looks and smells WONDERFUL. Nelson wasn’t joking when He told My Son and I, We’d be taking home a different Dog than the one We dropped off. It’s true. But in the BEST way possible.Nelson and Izzy made Me, My Son and(MOST importantly) Our Dog Bandit as comfortable as can be. Bandit is a fairly anxious Doggie. And while he did exhibit symptoms of anxiety, it was pretty minimal. And when Izzy (Lovely young lady) picked Him up and He nestled into Her arms, I knew everything would be alright!!It takes three hours. They gave Bandit“a Summer cut” (They have a selection specialty cuts) bathed, powdered, clipped AND filed his nails, brushed his teeth and “expressed” his glands. Salvador (The Groomer) did an exceptional job.When we picked Bandit up, He joyously bounded over to Me and My Son; He was FULL of vim and vigor. He was eager to leave and “show off” His fabulous make-over.‘Puppy Loft’ will DEFINITELY be Our go-to Groomers. And while I do not use puppy/dog daycare services, I believe that I would trust ‘Puppy Loft’ to take care of My Fur-Son, if We need to travel without Him.Thank You ‘Puppy Loft’ for Your impeccable service...

If I could give Puppy Loft 6 stars, I would! My puppy, Roo loves coming to Puppy Loft when I go to work. He runs in and jumps into the arms of the staff. They text me pictures and videos each day and Roo always seems to be having the time of his life. Even when we are just on a walk he tries to go to Puppy Loft.

Dogs loved it here. Love how you can watch the dogs on webcam and that they get a couple walks a day. Nelson is available and responsive via text for any requests. They made the process easy and will be using them again soon!

I take my dog Walter to Puppy loft a couple times every week. My dog has bad separation anxiety so I was worried he wouldnt like daycare, but i was wrong. He loves it!! As soon as we are within 3 blocks hes pulling the leash as hard as he can to get there faster. The staff is friendly and attentive. 10/10 recommend.

You always worry that no one is going to take care of your pet the way that you do, but that luckily is not the case with Puppy Loft. My dog LOVES it here (she really loves Jonathan!) I take her here for day care, grooming, and this past summer she boarded with them for the first time. I was able to log in and watch her on camera while I was traveling which put me at ease. I saw her playing with other dogs and there was always someone monitoring and playing with the dogs so they were never unattended. When I picked her up, she was happy, healthy, and clean as she received a complimentary bath after her stay. I will definitely continue using Puppy Loft for my dog’s boarding, grooming, and day care.
