Richie started getting results with our 7 month old puppy from the first minute. Within 2 sessions (and homework) he had achieved much of what we wanted, including walking well on a leash, sit, lie down, stay and come.He understand and explain the dog dynamic so well and introduced a healthy level of respect in Dexter

I was introduced to Richie in 2012 when my mini poodle was only 8 months old and new to the city. Richie has been an important part of our lives ever since. He helped train him and turned him into a confident, friendly city dog. He walks him regularly and has boarded him quite a few times. Richie adores dogs and they respect and adore him. He is totally reliable and responsible. I couldn’t recommend him more strongly.

Richie is awesome, and goes out of his way to take care of our dog, Virginia. Hes even taken her hiking with her two friends Remy and Richie (the dog) and she came home totally exhausted and satisfied; same goes for the weekend she spent upstate with him and his family. On the day-to-day, hes made her part of an awesome and well-behaved pack, and is always flexible if we have last minute changes or need extra walks. Richie knows everyone in the neighborhood (including the wonderful people at the dog store Zoomies), and is part of a terrific venture to make healthy dehydrated chicken snacks for dogs. Sometimes he even throws in a free bag! I totally trust Richie with Ginnie, and with access to our apartment, and happily recommend any of his services to anyone who asks.

Richie has taken care of multiple dogs in my building for as long as I can remember (decade plus). Many of us trust him completely to take care of our canine angels. But Richie goes much deeper than that — helping us to be better dog owners. He is my dog’s trusted godfather offering insight and advice. You can count on him to do well by your dog in every setting.

Richie started training my bonded pair of pups in 2009 with outstanding long term results. His training method, support and positive attitude has helped our fur family more than he knows.Richie isn’t your run of the mill trainer, he really understands dog behavior.

We were so lucky to have met Richie when we came from London to live in NY with our Cavalier - Daisy.He was such a great help with training Daisy and getting her used to city life. He is a true dog whisperer and loves Daisy like he is her own. I trust him 100% and Daisy absolutely loves him.

I don’t even know where to begin so let me start with: Richie has become a part of our family I wouldn’t want to miss anymore! Followed, in no particular order: he’s 100% reliable, trustworthy, has a big heart, is a true dog whisperer (it took him two sessions with my late dog Tompkin to turn her from sassy territorial barker to a social, relaxed and happy dog - at the old age of 10! And he’s been working wonders with my new, deeply traumatized rescue). He’s a true leader of the pack, highly respected, kind, smart, funny, someone you’d turn to immediately when things went south. I trust him with my dogs as well as my apartment 150%. He came into our lives more than six years ago - and hopefully will stay for decades to come!

A Dogs Best Friend. A fixture of the West Village, Richie speaks the street slang of dogs. My four-legged BFFs obey him, have fun with him (in the city and on nature hikes), and spot him from a block away. Ozzy and Lucky are happier and perkier from time spent with their loyal pal. Richie also cooks a nutritious food for pooches!

Richie came into our life this past May when we adopted our rescue dog from the Bahamas. We immediately hired Richie upon the recommendation of all of our neighbors and he began walking our dog Duke twice a day, 5 days a week. Richie helped us train, instill structure, and socialize our dog, who at first was scared of other dogs, skateboards, rollerbladers, and bikes. Now Duke is perfectly well behaved, no longer is triggered by the above mentioned stimuli, and absolutely loves going on walks with Richie. Duke runs to the door when he hears Richie and his other doggy friends walking up the stairs to our apartment. After every walk Duke comes home so happy and energized. I trust Richie wholeheartedly with not only my pet, but also with my apartment. He even cooks Duke homemade food (Duke has a sensitive stomach) and makes homemade chicken treats! I recommend Richie to anyone!
