Love the Perfect Pooch. I found them through Google and Yelp reviews and the reviews are so accurate. I was so worried as a new dog owner and they treat my dog with such care. They started watching him before he was fully vaccinated so more pet sitting and they were fantastic. I got tons of updates and pics and they truly care for the pets. They’re great about notes and requests and did a great job feeding him and keeping him entertained. I most recently tried their overnight service which was fantastic and didn’t disrupt my puppy’s routine. I always feel like my dog is cared for by folks (especially Joy!) who love dogs and take extra care to treat my puppy with kindness -highly recommended.

Leeland takes such good care of our 2 big pups! Her walkers are caring and detailed. My dogs love them and look forward walks with licks and kisses. We receive photos from each outing!

Maggie is pure joy. Shes also a 55lb diva who needs a long walk every day to keep her being a pure joy as my workday co-pilot. I had a scary experience with a solo dog walker, and then I found Leeland, who heads the Perfect Pooch. Lili, Gable, Raeven and sometimes Leland herself walk Maggie both alone, and sometimes with great buddies. Ive seen them outside from a distance, and know how Maggie is super excited when its time for their arrival. Maya stayed with Maggie while we were away, too. I feel confident and very comfortable knowing Maggie gets her walk (no matter the weather). The portal is very easy to use for communication, and payment, too.

I have been using perfect pooch for cat sitting for several months now. They have watched our cats during several trips. It is easy to schedule via their app, they are reliable, take good care of our cats, and always send follow up notes and pictures. As an added bonus - they also leave our apartment tidy - vacuuming up litter and taking out the cat food tins.

New to the city and have been using the perfect pooch for over a month and weve been so happy. They use an app to message, schedule, and share all the happenings including real time mapped walks, timestamped visits, photos and a sweet message from the walker. Leeland the business owner is wonderful and communicative and came to meet our dog and then set up a meet up with our incredible primary walker Rheanna! Rheanna has been so great with our dog Finley, so respectful of our space and just an all around great person. Thank you for all you do for Finley!

My experience with The Perfect Pooch has been overly positive. The business owner is very responsive, and helps to do all booking, scheduling, payment, and messaging through a commonly used app. All employees have been trustworthy in my home, including the business owner who shares in the workload during busy weekends. Employees are largely detail oriented as well as cat-friendly and very patient even in the face of very shy cats who can lock themselves in a room.

Ive been using The Perfect Pooch NYC for about a year now, and they take the BEST care of my little chihuahua! He was a COVID puppy, so I hadnt had to leave him with a walker/sitter before, but Leeland and her team are so professional, caring, and warm that I felt comfortable instantly. My dog be a little feisty (to put it nicely) but he adores his walker Ashley, and she keeps him happy and in check on their daily Central Park walks. Ive also used them for overnight boarding, and was so impressed with the quality of care and updates. Cant recommend Leeland, Ashley, and the Perfect Pooch team enough!

As a very satisfied customer of the Perfect Pooch for a few years now, I have relied upon them for overnight pet sitting, walks, and at-home puppy sitting for three of my large breed dogs. I am so incredibly grateful to have them in my life. Leeland is a joy to work with, and the walkers are highly skilled, well trained, loving, and perennially punctual. However, an even higher recommendation comes from my dogs—they are so happy to see the walkers when they arrive that they completely forget I exist.

We have been using Leeland and her team for puppy visits with our new pup who cant be walked outside yet because of her vaccine status. We have had a very positive experience all-around. They are easy to communicate with through the app and provide the best updates/pictures from each visit. Perfect Pooch is the best! My dog loves all of the walkers so much. Some times I am home when they come to walk my dog. They work with him so well, and are so patient! I feel they really love the dogs as much as we do. One time I even got locked out of my house on the weekend and the owner offered to come let me in to my apartment. A+ all around!

The Perfect Pooch offers a variety of services that we use (walks, feedings, pet sitting, etc.), which is super helpful to have consistency in caretakers for our rescue pup.Leeland obviously cares a lot about the quality of service and is extremely communicative. The owner and staff of The Perfect Pooch are some of the most caring, patient and loving pet caretakers we have ever met. The owner of the company, Leeland Allen, is so kind, level-headed, and patient, which is essential in dealing with the human aspect of a pet care company!The two employees we worked with, Andrea and Jose, took excellent care of our pup - not just in terms of following instructions, but in the way they truly care about the animals in their care. We got timely and thorough updates on our dog through the app, including pictures and potty reports. Our pup always looked happy and it seemed like they (the humans) were having fun too.Most of all, we never worried about our pup when he was in their care. To me, that is all you need to know!

So fortunate to have found Perfect Pooch NYC business! We needed a cat sitter at the last minute, not only that but it was Labor Day Weekend and Leeland immediately replied. We had a wonderful experience with Rachel. Highly recommend, she was reliable and we were updated on her visits. It was during the time of the recent nyc flooding which was a crucial time to know how our kitty is doing! We are already planning our next out of the country trip and will definitely call on Perfect Pooch!

Perfect pooch also perfect for kitty kats. They are amazing. Meet and greet, so they know your pet and how you see your pet. Theyre extremely responsive, thorough, and easy to deal with. I cannot say enough good things about Leeland. She catsit while I was out of town for five days. Prior to leaving, she came by for a pre-visit and was extremely thorough and attentive to detail. When I was out of town, she made sure to send updates including photos of my little fluff ball.That alone would be enough for a five-star review, but she also made an extra unscheduled visit after my cat showed a worrying health sign on her previous visit (he was fine and probably just wanted to spend more time with Leeland since she was so caring). It was really above and beyond and put me totally at ease while I was out of town. I couldnt recommend her enough and would give her six stars if it was an option!

This was my first time boarding my 8 year old dog and I was nervous. However from the first minute I knew I was in the right place. My dog went straight to the toys and felt perfectly at home. He also needed eye drops. Nothing was a problem. Leeland’s home could not be warmer. We have boarded him a number of times and my dog and I could not be happier!

Great communication and very flexible. Also offers boarding and have accommodated us on short notice during the pandemic, making travel to see family in emergencies possible.

The Perfect Pooch provides an excellent service. In the three years we’ve trusted them to provide care for our Lab, Kenny and we have never once questioned whether or not his well being/comfort was being put first. Our dog runs to the door each day in anticipation of his walk and returns relaxed and happy. The Perfect Pooch operates with courtesy and professionalism, and is always accommodating when it comes to last minute changes. They always find a way to come through for us. I don’t know where we’d be without Leeland and Franco!

We use Leelands services often when we are out of town on trips. While were gone, Leeland stops by 2x/day to feed/scoop boxes/and socialize with our two cats. She is always super communicative, answers texts promptly, and lets us know if she has any questions or concerns while were away. We have found a real gem in Leeland! We know our cats are in good, caring, and capable hands with her, which makes traveling much less stressful. We recommend her highly!
