Pedro is an excellent dog walker. I have recommended him many times to neighbors and friends without hesitation.He is very attentive, reliable, and caring. I have a senior dog that Pedro has been taking care of (because a great dog walker does more than just walk your dog) for the last four years. He is incredibly patient and loving as she begins to slow down in her golden years. I’m grateful everday I leave the apartment knowing Pedro will be there to exercise and spend time with my beloved dog.

I couldnt be happier with Pedro and Hot Paws Pet Care. My pup can be a bit of a handful so I was a bit nervous about finding a walker for her, but I knew from the moment I met Pedro that she would be in good hands! Pedro is *obviously* a dog-lover and has a lot of patience. He is also extremely communicative and reliable; he has NEVER not shown up for a walk and has never canceled on us. It is SUCH a relief not having to worry about my dog while Im at work! I also always receive text updates about the walk, which is great. All I know is that my dog absolutely adores Pedro. BOTTOM LINE: You cant go wrong with Hot Paws Pet Care.P.S. While Pedro is our every day walker, I have met two other walkers with Hot Paws Pet Care and both were great, too! It was important to me that my dog could expect the same walker every single day, which Pedro accommodated, but for two days during which Pedro was out of town we had sub walkers. Pedro was gracious enough to give plenty of notice about his trip AND set up a time for me and my dog to meet the sub walkers beforehand to make sure everything would be good. SO appreciate Hot Paws Pet Cares commitment to its clients and the fact that it always puts the dogs first! THANK YOU!

Pedro has been taking care of our Jack Russell since 2013 and she absolutely loves him. Since Pedro has been with us, weve noticed a reduction in our dogs anxiety around other dogs (and even people), and he and Vincent have always demonstrated a genuine care for her well-being. We feel very fortunate that we found such a trustworthy, reliable, and attentive dog walking service.

We had Pedro dog-sit our 2 dogs at our wedding recently at Wave Hill in the Bronx. He was TREMENDOUS! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dog sitter. He was amazing to work with and such a great guy. He took phenomenal care of our dogs (1 big dog and 1 little dog). The dogs were honestly upset to be leaving his care at the end of the night. Pedro was a class act. He dressed incredibly well and was such a pleasure to work with. We were so happy we found him!

Pedro is a total professional and a pleasure to work with. He took care of our cats while we were away for the holidays. He not only made sure our cats were fed and their litter cleaned, but he also played with the cats every time he was there, gave us text updates, and even was kind enough to bring in our mail. We enjoyed our vacation that much more knowing our kitties were in good hands while we were away. Cant recommend Pedro and Hot Paws enough - he treats your pets like they were his own! Pedro has been walking our dog for the past year and we absolutely love him and Hot Paws! He is such a caring, responsible, and professional individual and just a pleasure to work with. Since he has come in to our lives, we have felt so much relief knowing that our pup is well taken care of and happy. He has strong communication skills and updates you on your pup daily. When we need to go away, he stays at our apartment and I don’t worry because I know our dog is in great hands! Our dog absolutely loves him as well and gets so excited when she sees him. I hired Pedro to take care of my GSD while I was working out of state. Pedro did an excellent job taking care of my pride and joy. He promptly gave me updates every time he completed a walk and kept me up to date on his mood. I even got to FaceTime with my dog which I think help put both our minds at ease. Even though my dog isn’t too happy when I go away at least I know someone I can call to make sure he’s safe and happy. Thank you Pedro!

The Hot Paws Pet Care team is amazing!!! Pedro has been walking my cockapoo Gigi for a few years now and she absolutely adores him! He’s so loving, playful and understanding with her! He doesn’t just come and walk her, he actually takes the time to play with her and talk to her. It’s clear to see that he loves dogs and that’s evident in the love and care he gives each one of his client dogs. He is responsible, reliable and flexible with his schedule. There aren’t enough words to express my delight and appreciation for how he treats my Gigi. I 100% recommend the whole How Paws Pet Care team!

Pedro and Vincent have been walking my large, lazy dog for nearly 2 years. He is professional, flexible and easy to work with. He is always cheerful and pleasant and really cares about our dog. Our dog can be quite resistant to getting off the couch to walk during the day - especially in the summer or if its raining - and Hot Paws can always get him happily out the door. They are awesome and a real asset to the neighborhood!

I have known Hot Paws Pet Care for many years and they are very reliable. Pedro and Vincent have been walking my little davey for over 5 years. Pedro has trained my dog to get along with other animals, he has potty trained davey when he was a puppy and more importantly he has helped me keep davey company while I leave for my quarterly business trips. They are easy to work with and very affordable. I highly recommend Hot Paws Pet Care- they have become apart of my family.

Pedro and the Hot Paws Pet Care team have been walking our dogs for over 3 years and they are simply put: The Best. Weve had several other dog walkers over the last 12 years and none have been as caring, compassionate, responsive, or flexible as Hot Paws. Whenever I am out walking my dogs and we see Pedro or Vincent in the neighborhood they are so excited to see them! That assures me they are well cared for and loved whenever they are under Hot Paws care. In June of 2018 one of our dogs collapsed on her walk. Because of Vincent & Pedros quick thinking and fast action we were able to get her the medical treatment she needed ASAP. I truly believe had they not been with her we would have lost her that day. We will never be able to repay them for giving us extra time with her.It is without hesitation that I would recommend Hot Paws Pet Care.

I cannot recommend Pedro enough! He has been walking my 100 lb pit bull Mitts for over six years and the love is real! My dog is not easy to walk but my mind is always at ease when Pedro is with him. I really dont know what I would do without Pedro!!!!

Where do I begin? Pedro is a skilled, patient, attentive, and compassionate pet sitter. I have a precious kitty who is quite the spitfire and Pedro tends to her with aplomb. Finding Pedro was a Godsend because he met all of the requirements is identified as non-negotiable for a sitter. When I’m out of town, I can rest assured that my furry baby is in the most capable hands. I recommend Pedro highly to anyone seeking high quality sitting services for your furry loved ones!

My dog and I moved to Inwood a few months ago and finding a dog walking company was one of the first things I did after getting internet and setting up Con Ed. Pudge (my dog) and I were in the dog park when I asked a fellow owner if she had any recommendations on walkers in the area. She mentioned Pedro at Hot Paws and I contacted him immediately. Ivana, Vincent, and Pedro have been an integral part of my daily living. Trust was built early on with their amazing communication and I can go to work without worrying if Pudge is okay. Hot Paws’s service prices are top notch. Also, they bring in my packages which is just so nice. 10/10 would recommend.

My cat is my furr baby, he’s so important to me, so I don’t trust just any cat sitter! Pedro is great and watched my cat numerous times now n even came over to meet him before the first time and learn how to best help my cat feel at home while I was away.I’m always happy to receive Pedro’s updates during my trip (he will send you cute photos of them together etc) and see my cat having been taken good care of while I was away.

It’s difficult trusting someone with your pet, specially when you don’t see them as a pet, but as a child. My girlfriend and I were afraid because we didn’t know how, or better yet, if, we ever trust anyone with our child, but it was love at first bark. As soon as he met Pedro he fell in love with him, as did we. Everything has been perfect ever since. When we plan vacations we don’t think about work, location, or time of the year, we think about “is Pedro available those day?”. Thank you Pedro for all the love you give our child.

HotPaws has been in charge of walking my dog Hattie off and on for 2+ years now. He was referred to me by two friends who have used him for many years. Pedro is quick to respond to texts, reliable and friendly. I fully trust him he takes great care with this job. I highly recommend HotPaws to anyone living in Washington Heights. He also offers weekend walks.
