Superlative service. So pleased to discover WVCS/Manhattan Kitties. Despite being nervous about leaving my two kitties, Sylvie placed me at ease beforehand on arrangements, what to expect, cost, etc. Sitter Vicky was Fabulous, dependable and wonderful with kitties. I received a report with pics twice a day. Really made me feel secure that kitties had A+ care. Wish I could travel with my cats, but WVCS is next best. Cant give enough praise and highly recommend.

I have been in search of a reliable cat sitting service since I moved to NYC to have as a backup in case friends or family are unavailable, and literally 3 years into my residency I came across Sylvie and her team. From the moment I sent over an inquiry to the very last day that Jee (BEST CAT SITTER EVER) sent an update, I felt comfortable and confident leaving Greg in their care. Sylvie answered every single one of my questions and was so friendly and welcoming. Jee sent twice daily comprehensive reports while she was taking care of Greg including pics and the funniest videos. If Im being totally honest, Jee spoiled Greg rotten. I think he had more fun with her in a week than he has with me daily. The litter box was sparkling every day, food dishes cleaned and water changed, Jee even brought Greg special treats and toys!10/10 experience and would highly recommend it to anyone in need of a cat sitter in the West Vil/Chelsea area!

Ive used WVCS twice so far and both times have been a great experience. My sitter is Lauren and shes the best - she writes the most detailed emails explaining her time with my cats and sends videos of both which I love so much more than photos. I always feel at ease now when I travel knowing that Lauren will be there to check on them. The vetting and application process was extremely thorough which I appreciated and you can tell how much Sylvie & her team truly care about cats. Ill definitely continue using them going forward and recommend them to anyone who asks!

I am very happy with Sylvie and her team. Theyre professional and responsive and it’s clear they love cats. Sylvie introduced herself and her business and made me feel very comfortable leaving my kitty in her care. I also met with the sitter, Erin, before my trip and she gave me clear expectations for the visits and took the time to answer any questions/concerns I had. I had only adopted my cat a month before so I was apprehensive about leaving, but Erin did a wonderful job of making sure he was comfortable and taken care of. I was truly impressed that she was able to bond with him in such a short amount of time. The attention to detail and care that my kitty received while I was away was exceptional. I looked forward to the detailed updates, pictures, and videos each day. I will definitely be using WVCS again!

We had such a great experience using West Village Cat Sitters to watch our two cats while we were on a short trip. Being that we spent over a year with our cats day in and out, we were so nervous to leave them- but with Erin taking care of our cats, I felt at ease that our little guys were being so well taken care of!Sylvie and her team are so responsive and communicative, and we received plenty of kitty pics and daily updates! I cannot express how amazing everyone is at WVCS & MK! I have been using their services for many years and would never think of using anyone else. They are dependable, trustworthy, and love our kitties! I have a 19 year old and a 1 year old Bengal and they are able to provide both kitties with everything they need to feel comfortable and happy while traveling. The level of comfort they provide us knowing our cats are taken care of while traveling is beyond words. They provide detailed emails with pictures, videos, and comments after each visit. I cannot imagine traveling without their care taking. A special shout out to Sylvia (the owner), Jee and Maxwell (our kitties favorite sitters!), and Melissa!

Sylvie took care of our cat for 10 days while abroad and I have to say, I have never felt more confident to leave him with someone for such a long period of time. Sylvie is truly amazing and really understand the needs of cats. She was amazing and sent updates every day. I used other cat sitter service before but I was always worried (Yes I am a little anxious when it comes to leaving my cat!) but Sylvie was the only one who managed to erase all my fears and I knew that our baby was in excellent hands with her.I will definitely use her services again in the future and if you are reading this message, no need to look any further, you found the perfect service and it is a promise that your furry friends will be truly happy in her care!

Very impressed with this cat sitting company. I lived in the West Village for two years and was referred to WVCS by my vet. Sylvie is amazing and all of the team members I corresponded with were professional, respectful, responsive and truly loved cats! I had a couple of sitters take care of my cats and they were always treated with the same TLC I would provide myself! I consistently received thorough emails including photos and videos of each visit, and had direct contact with the sitter to answer any questions. When moving out of NYC recently, I connected with Sylvie regarding an inquiry for a travel companion to join me and getting my two cats on their first flight! She was super helpful and gracious enough to get involved. She really went above and beyond and Im so appreciative. We had a successful flight! Highly recommend WVCS!

This was by far the best experience we have ever had with a cat sitter!!! We were impressed from the beginning by the care and attention given to us by the owner (Sylvie) and our sitter (Ellen). Sylvie spent a lot of time talking with us and setting up our feeding/visit details to make sure that our cats were taken care of perfectly. It is evident that the cats received a lot of attention and love because they showed no signs of stress or anxiety. The daily photos and notes we received from Ellen allowed us to feel relaxed on the trip because we knew our cats were being well taken care of. In addition, the apartment was spotless when we returned. The attention to detail and love that is shown to your pets sets this business apart from others of its kind. We were looking for a caregiver who is a true cat person, and we found that in both Sylvie and Ellen.

We love the West Village Cat Sitters.We knew they were the right ones for us when Sylvie told us that if we dont inform her that were back from a trip, they will come back the next day again to care for the cats, presuming that we were somehow delayed and unable to get hold of us. When she said that, we realized just how much Sylvie and her crew prioritize the wellbeing of the cats they look after.Our sitter is Sheila, and we love that she sends us photos with each visit and has gotten to know the personalities of our two cats. We are always grateful for her updates. WVCS gives us such peace of mind when we need to travel (especially internationally), and were grateful for their loving care of our cats!

Sylvie has been amazing with our cat Billie. I used to be extremely nervous leaving her during vacations, even with friends or family, but I have been at ease ever since I found Sylvie! We know that we will receive text updates, videos, and pictures of Billie with every visit, and feel confident that our cat is safe and happy while we are away. Sylvie is extremely knowledgable about cats and truly loves and cares for each of the animals she visits. We absolutely love having her as our cat sitter and could not recommend her more!

Sylvie and her team are the absolute best in the business. You wont believe how safe and secure you feel when you leave your cats with the west village cat sitter. They go above and beyond (eg, taught my cat not to drink out of toilet, brought second litter box when one of my cats started peeing on the carpet when we left, called the super to take care of an urgent repair they noticed while visiting, suggested litter that doesnt stink and works in a small apartment, cleaning up around litter before you come home, and leaving you videos or pictures of your precious ones that will make your day or vacation. I also stop in my tracks on vacation to get my video and write up of the visit. Sylvie specializes in older and sick cats. I knew my 15 year old cat and new, younger recently feral cat would do wonderful with her. Sylvie has no problem with cats who are peculiar or have behavior issues. If you are seriously into your cats and feel they are part of your family, Sylvie and her team (Sara, Ben) are the ones for you. Im type A and a perfectionist and Sylvie never ceases to amaze me with how professional, kind, and great with cats she is. She has the magic touch with cats while being on top of all your travel and visit arrangements.

Having moved here recently from the UK my other half and I were keen to travel and see as much of the states as possible. However, we bought our cat over with us whos not always the friendliest of cats and often quite shy. This posed a problem when going away overnight. But when Sylvie came and met him she was great with him, allowing him to come to her and he seemed to really relax in her company! While we were away, Sylvie sent us photos and videos of our cat and it was lovely to see him getting (and enjoying) cuddles from someone else! It also really put me at ease while on holiday to know that he was happy and being well looked after!I would definitely recommend West Village Cat Sitters and am so glad we found them!

The best cat sitters we could have asked for, they care for our cat (Sticky) just like we would. Maxwell is a fantastic sitter and always includes photos, videos, and lots of play time when he stops by to feed Sticky. Sylvie has helped us out of many last minute jams as well when we’ve had a tight spot and needed help the next day. Phenomenally responsive, trustworthy, and caring. Will be our cat sitters as long as we’re in NYC :)

Sylvie and her team did a wonderful job of cat sitting my asthmatic cat, Baileys. They were very flexible to my dates changing multiple times. Everyone I’ve interacted with are thorough, friendly, and very communicative.Holly cat sitted for one day and emailed me with a video of Baileys, photo of the litter and food, checklist of what she did (including giving the inhaler), and message of how Baileys was acting. It gave me comfort to know Baileys was in good hands. I highly recommend them.

The West Village Cat Sitter is truly a stand-out, superb business in Greenwich Village. As a young, couple with two very demanding, time consuming jobs, my husband and I were quite worried about leaving our 7 week old kitten alone all day and into the night. Luckily, we found the West Village Cat Sitter, who visits our kitten a few times a week, checks in on her, plays with her and feeds her (if need be be). The kindness and attentiveness with which Sylvie and her staff (Bieje and Celine) handle your pet is above and beyond. They are constantly in contact with you letting you know your pet is OK and well cared for. They even take photos and send them to you of their visits. Its INCREDIBLY comforting. I cannot say enough tremendously positive things about the West Village Cat Sitter, and I highly, highly recommend their services to anyone that needs short or long term cat sitting. They are simply the best!

Excellent service at a reasonable price. I was traveling to Japan for two weeks and had never utilized a sitter in the past, always relying on friends. Because of the duration of the trip, I googled cat sitters in the area. I couldnt be happier that Lucille (my cat) and I found Sylvie. Before my trip she came over to introduce herself to me and Lucille. She brought all appropriate documentation, including proof of insurance. She spent some time with Lucille, I could tell she was a true cat person as Lucille warmed up to her almost immediately. She spent nearly 20 minutes with us going through Lucilles needs and behaviors and talking through the service she would be providing. Before my trip Sylvie confirmed the time and date of my departure and arrival and confirmed we were all set. During my trip Sylvie sent daily update emails and regular videos of Lucille. It was a stress free trip for both of us knowing Lucille was so well taken care of. I would recommend Sylvie and the West Village and Chelsea Cat sitter to anyone in need of a cat sitter and will use them every time I go away.

We’ve been trusting Sylvie and her team, specifically Holly, with the care of our kitties while we’re away for years now. They are such a kind, caring and accommodating group who you can put your trust in to make sure your kitties get the care and attention needed while you’re away. I love getting photo and video updates daily which really puts my mind at ease while we’re away. Leaving our fur babies behind is always difficult but I can really relax knowing they’re well cared for. They’ve also been so gracious in accommodating some last minute requests which are much appreciated in already stressful situations since it’s usually due to an emergency or error on my part. The West Village Cat Sitter and Manhattan Kitties provided fantastic care for our cat while we were away. They really thought of everything, cared that everything was done right, with no mistakes. Daily litter scooping, pets, food, water, medicine, and a daily update with pictures. Also a very fair cost. They even thought about when wed be arriving home, timed the last visit intentionally, and confirmed that wed arrived home and the cat didnt need a last visit.

The best cat sitters! I’ve had them watch my calico a handful of times. Ive had a variety of sitters who have each been responsible, communicative and excellent in the quality of care they provide. I love that they send me digitally what is essentially a diary of what my cat has eaten, if she has gone to the bathroom and any other relevant notes. There’s also photos and videos supplied in these daily emails. They even water my plants and bring in my packages! What really sets TWVCS apart from other sitters I have had is that they go above and beyond each time. I know if something were to happen while I was away, my cat would be in great hands. They are very detail oriented when it comes to filling out the forms for a reason! Overall 5 stars and highly recommend.

I have lived in 9 states, all with animals, and I have never had a better cat sitter. Max always watches my little bubs and not only does the basics, but goes above and beyond to make my cats more comfortable and to make my life easier when I get back (like emptying the litter genie so I didnt have to - MAX YOURE THE BEST!!). He also always writes the best recap messages and sends me daily pictures and videos. Not only is Max absolutely incredible, but WVCS in general just does it right. Ive never felt more at ease about leaving the kitties at home when Im gone - and we all know how valuable that peace of mind is. Thank you for being the best around

It was such a great experience having them take care of my cats while I was gone. The sitter not only take amazing care of them (I could tell by how happy they were when I got home, and the videos he sent me while taking care of them), but he also wrote such sweet detailed messages on exactly how the cats behaved and interacted while he was there, and sent so many photos and videos. The whole experience really made me feel my cats were in good hands. I highly recommend them!

The West Village Cat Sitter was a great find for me when I recently moved to NYC. I had to head away for a short work trip and Sylvie was very quick to respond to my enquiry. I contacted her based on her great reviews and she definitely lived up to them.She is very thorough in ensuring she knows exactly what you and your cat like and that youll be comfortable with the way she operates before signing up. She took excellent care of my little cat. He is a bit wary of strangers but he quickly realised Sylvie was a friend and he was well cared for and happy upon my return. The photos and videos she sends at each visit are a really nice touch.Ill definitely be making using of Sylvies service next time I need someone to care for my little guy.
